Thanks Dieter! The last part on Solør line both stations are manned, so you get to see the station masters with their green flag waving. Not many of those stations left here in Norway.

I wouldn't worry about the video camera issues, it's nice that you care to share. The driving is primary and the recording is a plus, and thank you for the trackside information and knowledge placed throughout the video.

I love your explanations, the conversation with the station master and the shunting operations. Also the drone views. 🥰 It makes the journey captivating and much more interesting. 👍🏻🤗
5:43 7:48 8:13 Those moody, early morning lake views are lovely! 💜
I also like that you make these videos in shorter one hourly increments. Makes them more watchable (for me anyway) than the long 2 or more hourly marathon rides that I find harder to sit through. 👍🏻😊
There is much to like here and for me, I don't mind the darker dawn ambience, it adds a new dimension to the journey. Thank you and keep it up, you are on the right track (pun intended)! 😊💖👏

I see a lot of concrete ties sitting track-side. When do they do the reballastng and tie replacement? Is it during a particular time of year or time of day? I assume they use automated track laying / reballasting trains for this?

Hi Richard and welcome to the channel! Thx for commenting. We can drive for a total of 5h 30m before rest. Then you must rest for min 3h. And when you are done for the day you get a minimum of 8h on a hotel, or 11 hours if you are going home from where you are "stationed". And time of the day also factor in. Your "workday" must be shorter if it goes into the night.
