Magnificently done! There were around 7000 Greeks at Thermopylae led by Leonidas. While there weren't a million Persians opposing them from 150,000 to 300,000 is still a sizable group. Of course, it wouldn't have been made possible if it hadn't been for Telemachus, admiral of the Athenian navy. He was the brains behind the entire operation. It was his fleet that virtually destroyed the Persian fleet and cut off their chance to land forces behind the Greeks. They accomplished their objective which wasn't to drive off the Persians. It was to slow them down, wear them down and give the individual Greek city states time to prepare for the coming invasion. Xerxes and his forces had a very rough time going from city state to city state when they did invade.
I really like your eye for catching ancient ruins as they pop up when you drive past them, too.
Pain killers? I have some excellent pain killers! Lol!

@@unOrdinaryWorldTlhank you for your good thoughts, Ferdia! Had a ten day surgical follow up yesterday. Stitches came out. It didn't feel good but I've felt worse than stitches being removed. X-rays looked good. My leg brace was adjusted so that I can bend my leg to 90 degrees. I won't be able to put weight on it for at least 6 more weeks. Step by step. Days will flow into weeks ...probably not as fast as I would like but, soon I'll be up and about like I was before.
A real adventure on a real adventure bike, raw and true to the spirit of adventure biking.

I agree the beginning felt like home. If it were not for the 300 Spartans at the end, this video could been from anywhere. Thank you for slowing down the camera when you passed the water (sea, bay, lake?). That sky dotted with bright clouds and a rainbow blending at the horizon with water as calm as glass was gorgeous. Loved all the animals and dead end roads. These encounters is major reason your vids are so authentic. It rains, animals threaten, roads end, light ends, headaches hurt....I love every minute with you on the journey. Thank you for this experience. Joy. 🥰❤️
