Hi guys, I just got back from a day on the mountain with Rip Jr. It was super windy, and before I left the house I broke one of my right toes. I was having so much fun riding the bike, then I stopped and could hardly walk OUCH !! & LOL ! I will be working on 3 new videos over the next few days. Cheers Dale

Just recently discovered your channel. I have a deposit on a new MT-09 but dealer doesn't know when it will arrive. Love your content on this bike. At the age of 74, I may be a bit crazy for wanting such a beast, but been riding for 60 plus years and can't get it out of my system. Wishing you the best and a speedy recovery. Thanks so much for your very informative and educational video clip. I just bought the same bike but have not ridden it yet. I don’t know anything about motorcycle except riding them ( mediocre rider ). I am a short guy and only the balls of my feet touching the ground from sitting on the MT -09. I heard that you can buy aftermarket clams (?) to lower the rear set and make the bike lower. Is it true ? And if so is it safe ? Will it throw the bike’s frame off balance when riding ? I would appreciate it so much if you can answer when you have the time. Thanks again for your knowledge.

this bike is fantastic ,.. i love the shape and sound of the changes and reductions ,.. a strong bike but also safe and already with a lot of technology in it ,.. i have the smaller sister the mt 07 and it is also very fun , but I confess that after 1 year with the super fun mt 07 I only look at mt 0'9 , these bikes are very addictive ,.. if I can ever change it, it will be for this new mt 09 , which for me, will currently be best bike up to 10.000 euros ,..and its character ,..it is also what attracts me the most
,. very beautiful ,.. a real naked bike ,..whoever buys an mt , will hardly regret it ,..because they are somewhat different bikes when compared to others , and that is why you see so many on the roads and continue to be one of the most sold by Worldwide !

I'm about 175 lbs in riding gear. You would be surprised just good the standard model handles. Even the low rent rear shock is very good at an aggressive street pace, If I were to do track days often, I may buy a rear shock. A bigger guy over 200 lbs would most likely want that right away though, so the SP may be the way to go. The SP is a good value for what you get thats a fact, In my case no need to spend the extra 2 grand. Cheers Dale

I hope you have full recovery from your cancer, have you done your own search about your cancer? There are lots of information out there that can help, I have enlarged prostate too, just taking medication and listing to my Doctor did not help, did my own search and found out there are lots of things that doctors can not tell you because it is not their specialty, and that is the food we eat. Most of the food we eat feed cancer, If I get such cancer, I would do long fasting to slow down the feeding of cancer. I have when I got rid of a few that where special, like a certain race bike, my Drag School ZL 900s or my Bandit 1200 project bike that was in all the mags. The MT-10 was awesome with way more beans, but big HP is not everything. The 2021 MT-09 feels like my 2017 SV 650, but with 35 more HP. I'm sure the fun factor will be huge.
