1999 TOHATSU 3.5hp Outboard - First Start, Will It Run?

After all the work put into this 1999 Tohatsu 3.5hp outboard, can I get it to finally run? With a new impeller, gaskets, clear water channels, cleaned carburettor, fresh fuel, spark plug, it surely has to start?

Too funny! I don't wear a glove on my left hand because I can't start and stop the camera on my phone, the touchscreen doesn't work with gloves on🤣

Yes, it's a 3.5hp 2 stroke with a 50:1 fuel to additive mixture.

I only have one at the moment, excellent outboard. Hoping to test it out on a river soon, keep an eye out for that episode!

I hear mixed reviews about the Tomos, but I like the fact that it is air cooled and does the job, pretty tough outboard I think.
