I really liked this video. It inspires me to create something similar using some saved skeleton bits that I have laying around, too. I like using XPS so it's nice when you make projects out of it. I've noticed a lot of crafters using resin these days which, again, motivates me to try it out. In short, your vids are great and you show the viewer that awesome terrain can be as easy as starting with an idea and just going for it. Thanks, again. --Bo

    Bleeding eye skull....COOOOOL
Suggestion: when piling up your layers for the cliff, don't cut the stone texture in it until AFTER all the layers are there. It will integrate the layers rather than making them appear as distinct layers. Also, stone texturing with a ball of crinkled aluminum would help that.

@@MyklCarlton Obviously, you don't want people falling into the blood pool. Setting aside that it might screw with the anti-sacred nature of the profane altar, you don't want the hassle of having to fish them out. If someone falls off the other side and injures/kills themselves on the bare stone, that's fine.

I like the idea to leave the top open so you can place things on top of it. Not only is it a great flat arena for a fight, but you can place some of your other cliffs on top to narrow the ledge or even slap a tower on top as some kind of profane Wizard's research hub. I'll be interested to see if the Profane Altar appears in any Bat Reps, definitely think it would be an imposing edge to a battle map.

Instead of using sculptamold, plaster or plastiroc for the rocky plateau, I recently discovered that you can get a decent eroded rock texture out of peeled foamboard scratched with a metallic brush, and then dabbed with acetone. The foam melts just enough to create grooves and cracks, with a result that is both very light and still flat enough to be playable.
