Making them stackable like this is certainly a good idea, but the best method I've seen so far is by simply making things modular and with magnets, that way at the end of the day you can separate everything by type and have everything in one box.
Awesome build.. earned my sub immediately! A small tip, you could use decorators caulk instead of polyfilla for edges.. save a bit of time over trying to knife it into gaps or recesses.. and it's basically the same stuff! 👍🏼
If you take Mod Podge and apply it selectively to the paintings, you can get them to look more realistic (as though they're real oil paintings on canvas). Something as simple as streaks or using the Mod Podge over faces/people to create slightly elevated areas will make it stand out. I'd recommend coating the whole painting in a thin, even layer of Mod Podge first, then doing the raised areas once the initial layer is dry.
I love the room with the pictures ! Might make a variant on it, by using the shiny side of tin foil in place of the paintings to make a room full of mirrors that really reflect.
Hi there. I suggest trying out a bit different aesthetic for some of the rooms. Taking inspiration from more realistic medieval settings, when castle walls were mostly plastered and covered in murals. Since many dungeons could be quite fresh and new, some portion of the walls and murals could still be there, giving the room more of a character. Also tapestries could be used for great effect
You should check out (if you don't already) CZcamsrs like Wyloch's Armoury, Tabletop Witchcraft and whoever they recommend. Lots and lots of really cool builds and tutorials.
@@v0dka885 you can also try magnets to hold small bits in temporary space, until you change the setting (Warlock video nod), and leave some of the items that the players interacts with blank, so they can't argue is wysiwyg.
I think gorilla glues are just polyurethane glues right? Expanding and non expanding? If so you can pick up the trade stuff in larger quantities waaaaaaayyyy cheaper than the gorilla brand
Please share on social media if you can guys, it really helps out a lot =)

I do have magnets and will be using them in modular builds =)
This video was recommended by a fellow hobbyist. You did very well on this. Loved it! Very inspiring.

Ordered my dice tray after watching this video when this vid came out and a few packs of dice too.
I feel like the library needs a dragon. A bookwyrm if you will. Joke aside great job.
Haha I do have a Wyrm that I need to paint =)
It looks interesting. I like to you see you use this in your campaigns, and watch your DnD gameplay.

@1:57 "rip and tear the foam" *Doom music kicks in*

Superb work! That is fantastic!
Use some paper clip pieces or toothpicks to get more hold between up right walls. Otherwise awesome, looking forward to more!
nice tip i'll keep that one in mind

Thank you as Im loving them and cant wait to use the sets in a game of D&D next month =)
Would be cool if someone replicated the entire dungeon in a 3D generation, or a Diorama.
Where do you get the purple foam. Excellent work. Have asked this question of you about 4or 5 times but still no reply. Have you forgot? Lol
Great fun vid! So a 35 year break in playing? Me too!

Amazing. Still could be transferable to Age of sigmar too. Love a great diorama.
Thank you =)
@@MiniatureHobbyist I think you could pull of a good size warcry table. Hint hint 😀
Did you have a particular dimension you used for the base? Looks like it might be about 30 x 40 cms or 12 x 16 inches
