    In this video I want to show you how to create this gorgeous hand mirror. I will be using an acrylic template to speed up the process to cut out the final shape. I will be using my xTool P2 CO2 laser to make the acrylic template.

    Perfect, very very simple to make and results in a quality piece ... your daughter would've loved it ... brilliant (as usual) 👍 ... what about a version where you actually use the template to make the mirror, i.e. a clear acrylic handle and surround?
    Same cheap router bits as I have, watch out if you use it in deeper material ... the grub screw (in the lock collar) will cut a slight groove in whichever bit it is next too 🤨

      Hehe all the router bits I have are cheap. The short straight bit and the spiral bit all from Banggood. And all very cheap.

    Thanks for the project Tomasz, but would have used double sided tape for fixing the mirror if it got damaged pop it out and make a new one

    Tomasz, I really am glad that you decided to build the mirror that I suggested for your little girl. But tell me did you sit down with your little girl and watch the movie "Beauty and the Beast" and ask her to look out for her mirror in the movie?🤔. It actually looks exactly how I pictured it in my head when I mentioned it to you. Also it's great to hear that you're little girl was excited about you making her the mirror, i hope she's just as thrilled when you give her the mirror 😊.
    As for your comment about the Etsy store i don't blame you at all, it's something that lots of little girls would love to have, good luck with the sales. 😊
    As alway's brother 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
    P.s this is the second time I've left you feedback, for whatever reason the first one disappeared from your comment list. 😢

      Thank you again for this suggestion. For the first three days she was carrying the mirror everywhere with her lol 😆
      Yes thats right there is a similar mirror like that in the Beauty and the beast. We need to watch it this weekend 😄👍

    That’s interesting. I remember using co2 laser in the past and always having the same issue… acrylic was warping and melting 🫣. I presume diode laser does not have the same problem.

    • @CasualDIY
      @CasualDIY  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Diode laser can't cut clear acrylic. The laser I have is the xTool p2 CO2 Laser. My templates are from 8 or 10mm acrylic so I have no melting or bending. But I did cut thinner sheets like 3mm and not experienced those issues either 🤔
