You are great at instruction. I actually enjoyed watching a video on a technological piece without getting bored or lost. Enjoy your new toy. I look forward to your creations.
That’s a really kind thing to say, thanks very much 😀❤️
Wow! Sweet new gizmo!!!! The fun you will have 👍 So great to see Miss Daisy... she is so cute 🥰 Looking forward to seeing the new projects 😊
Thank you 🤗
Looking forward to your next posting where you show your skill and artistry on wrecked and wretched furniture. I was just feeling cheated when in comes gorgeous Daisy which put a smile on my face as usual. I hope that you get a lot of use out of your new kit. Lovely vlog as always so post again as soon as you can please.
😀🐶❤️
Love the new logo, and the laser looks awesome! Daisy always a bonus
Thanks Kathleen 😀🐶❤️
Exciting things to come with Daisy and your new toy what more could anyone want? Cheers David!!!🥰💕👍👍🐕
😀🐶❤️
My husband passed away June of 2022. He was the laser department supervisor for a fabrication company for over 25 years. His first machine was a huge Bystronic machine back in 1995.
I think he would have loved that machine! I can't wait to see that desk and chairs restored!
Hi Teddie. So sorry to hear about your husband ❤️he may well have shaken his head at my laser skills. I’m definitely a novice right now but hopefully I’ll do him proud in time. Take care. David & Daisy 😀🐶❤️
Cool Tools. Love the new logo, very artistic. Nice mix of modern & vintage styling. Daisy looks chilled even with the laser running while she sleeps.
Thanks Pam, Daisy is always pretty chilled out, nothing phases her 😂🐶❤️
Can’t wait to see the renovation of the 1920,s dresser. Enjoy your laser 👍👍
😀👍
I like the new logo! This new laser is definitely a good investment for your business.
I love your videos. I can’t wait to see the next projects.
Thanks Shirley. This laser has me excited as it’s got so many possibilities 😀😀
Looking forward to seeing your new projects and of course, more of Daisy and her wine corks.
🤣🐶❤️
Love the new logo and I can't wait to see your upcoming projects especially the art deco vanity. Daisy doing her job of supervising is just a pleasure to watch. Xx
Hi Freyja. Thanks very much, Daisy says hi 😀🐶❤️
Love the new logo. Can't wait to see the first piece of furniture you put on.
😀❤️
Congrats on receiving a GREAT laser! New logo is awesome! Looking forward to your next projects! 👏👍✨😍❤

🤣🤣 I feel like a little kid with it too 😀😀
Wow, what a piece of kit that is
OMG!! You must have been impressed to leave a comment Pops 🤣🤣🤣👍❤️
Love the new logo! Enjoy your new toy! Those upcoming project pieces look really interesting and can’t wait to see how you restore them.
😀😀👍
Ahhh...new toys. I look forward to the vanity restore.
Can’t beat a new toy 🤣🤣
It is so much fun to get a new tool/toy! I can't wait to see what you do with it!
😀😀
Great episode, David. I think the sneak peak idea is a very good one. All of the vintage furniture pieces are appealing to me. Your explanation of the laser set up was so easy to follow. You are going to get so creative with that machine. Your new logo is well designed.
What great comments! You’re very kind and I really appreciate your support 😀 😀
Loving the new logo David. Can’t wait to the dresser restored
Thanks Christine 😀😀
Awesome! You are too modest - not many of us could understand and use the laser without a ton of debriefing! I'm interested to see what uses you will find for it as you restore furniture. For one, putting your snazzy new logo on the pieces will be wonderful.
I'm looking forward to the children's furniture redo, as well as that mahogany chair, which actually doesn't look to bad, compared to the dresser vanity which has a ton of TLC needs including new veneer and fixing those stick drawers!
Well done!
It’s definitely a steep learning curve but I was really surprised how easy this laser is to use. I’m looking forward to the kids school desk, it’s in terrible condition but I’m hoping to make it beautiful 😀❤️
Oh, my! What an utterly cool toy - uh...I mean tool! Your enthusiasm is infectious and I can't wait to see how you integrate it into your renovations. The desk and chairs look so promising. I've spent a lifetime reading and writing, but always at a cramped desk. Someone will get get a real treasure here. Thanks for the visit with Daisy. Maybe you can engrave a little sign for the area with her bed and for her corks. Congrats on your new laser, and cheers from Oklahoma!!!
Hi. Thanks so much for your lovely comments as always. Your idea for Daisys corks has given me a great idea. Watch this space 😀😀🐶❤️
I’m jealous! Wish I could afford one! Your new logo is great! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching 😀❤️
The new logo is really nice, you did a good job. I think daisy likes it too. Can't wait to see the new videos. Your channel is my favorite to watch. Thank you

Hello i certainly will i thinks i am going for the p2 im not quite there with my savings but as soon as i have enough i will use your links many thanks again@@MayfieldRestorations
Ok i may be ignorant but what do you need that piece of equipment for?
Some ideas, cutting fretwork, making replacement hardware, acrylic tool jigs, acrylic furniture stencils, logo plaques to add to furniture. 😀👍
I always love your work but those things I feel make things look cheap
I guess it depends what you do. Hopefully you’ll like my plan 😀👍
QUESTION: HOW is it possible to get the machine to not photograph the substrate you place in it with perspective? I inserted a small wooden box (about 1/2" thick by 4" square) onto the slats bed - but the image in the xTool Creative Space software looks "fish-eyed" or with a "depth-of-field"? It makes it difficult to properly align an imported image to be perfectly centered on the substrate - because the on-screen image shows the inner walls of the box - in perspective.
I’m no expert but I believe that the cameras will be fisheye type camera due to their close proximity to the material to be cut/engraved. I’m not sure how you get around the issue you have but have you tried xtool support?
I appreciate your effort. I upgraded from a Glowforge Plus, and I have to admit that this was NOT a problem with the Glowforge. The beauty of the Glowforge was that it had a camera center mounted on the inside of the lid. If you placed a substrate directly under the camera, it captured a perfectly flat overhead image. However, if you placed multiple items within the Glowforge - say, 5 boxed substrates, the one directly under the camera would appear perfect as before, but the ones further to the sides were captured with a "fish-eye" effect - making proper alignment much more difficult. @@MayfieldRestorations
Why would you cut the box you messed it al up. I would of waited till I had help. My box is nice condition and re-strapped .
Why would i want to keep a huge cardboard box??? 🤷
