I feel like this type of forum should be introduced into school where students can tell their stories
***** I agree. If we showed some of these stories to kids, and encouraged them to try and tell theirs so far, maybe they would feel lighter about their issues and grow up a lot warmer and nicer. Society created so many unattainable values, just for the sake of commercialism, idealism and religious morals, that we tend to forget the most beautiful thing in the world is being actually being alive and living, not just surviving!

+Char Doll I tried doing a version of this through photography after seeing Leonard Nimoy's "Secret Self Project" (it's a lot like this). It was really interesting, and if anyone out there likes photography, they should really try to do it. I'm not popular by any means, so I didn't expect a lot of participation... but we got around twenty people (including teachers) to come in with something that represented a part of themselves that was little-to-unknown. One student brought in her violin and blew away the few people who had come in to watch.The Bible teacher dressed up like Jesus because he wanted to be more Godly. Two other teachers brought in guitars because they had a secret dream or fantasy to be a musician. Seriously, you're right. Every school should do something like this... because it's really awesome.

I witnessed a girl go through the same thing with a rollercoaster. She couldn't fit, and the man told her to get off. I could see how mortified she was, and I was standing in line and walked out of line and told her how she was so beautiful. She really was.. I really hope she didn't let that get to her.
