Freddie Mercury. The greatest front man in Rock and Roll history. Noone came close to him. His performance at Live Aid 1985, despite a sore throat, was the greatest. Ever. He could sing anything. Rock. Opera. Soundtrack. He wrote the greatest song in Rock and Roll history. Freddie Mercury. Legend. Forever.

Great reaction! Did you notice Roger singing his heart out while not missing a beat on the drums? I often wonder when he managed to take a second to breathe...
'Save Me' from the same concert is brilliant!
By the way, Freddie is not drinking beer. The beer bottle is a product placement. His cup is tea with lemon and honey, for his throat.

My request is MORE QUEEN LIVE CONCERT reactions (instead of recordings from their albums)... I am so thrilled some men of your ages are reacting, there are very few, mostly older. I think you should "go down the rabbithole " & do alotmore Queen. I am so interested in your age bracket to hear what you think about music done without synthesizers & other gimmicks, Queen is raw talent unlike much of today's music. Please do Queen's Live AID performance, it is judged around the world as the best performance ever.

If you like this, you and your friends would love Queen's performance at the Live Aid concert in 1983. It was a charity concert for famine aid in Africa, all the world's most famous rock and pop stars performed free and it was watched by millions on TV all over the world as well as the crowd at Wembley stadium. Queen absolutely killed it - Freddie's friend David Bowie was next after Queen and he said to Freddie "You b******, how do you expect me to go on after that?" You want the version with the policemen because the other version cuts off at the end - it is a bit over 20 minutes. Freddie had throat problems at the time and had been advised by his doctor not to perform. It includes a song that Freddie wrote as a tribute to Elvis Presley and he sounds just like him.

Freddie had a honey mixture drink for his throat when performing, sometimes Freddie would go against the doctors orders not to sing when he had touch of laryngitis, and when ever his voice sounded a little hoarse when hitting the high notes that's when his throat wasn't 100% but he would never back out of a live performance and dissappoint his fans.Freddie and Queen were the greatest performers ever.❤

At 3.40 Freddie notices goes into extended improvised performance
At 3.53 you can hear Brian is tentatively strumming to check guitar
At 4.10 Brian is back and Freddie carries on song
That is what you call true performers. No stopping no tantrums just keep going
    Perfection as always from them

Oh, this is magical. Thank you guys!! Yes, please react to their 'Live Aid' set! Considered by many the best live performance ever! You know, I don't understand why stuff like this does not inspire kids to pick up an instrument and want to play the sh*t out of it??! Yes, I'm old. I'm from the 'garage band' era. My families garage was THE band hang out for the neighborhood! Sound insulation, blacklights, padded amps...the whole lot! I miss those days when everyone hung out together and music and comedy was everything! to us!

Omg i loved your reaction, suscribed! You definitely should show them more Queen, I listen to a lot of Queen, I would recommend live performance of Live Aid, Under Pressure, Love of my life, who wants to live forever, Love of my life. Songs would be Mother love which was Freddie's last song before he passed and was not able to finish so Guitarist Dr. Brian May had to finish the last verse 💔, I would also recommend the song 'The Show must go on', live performance of White Queen, song 'you take my breath away', another one bites the dust, I want to break free, Too much love will kill you, time waits for no one by Freddie alone as well as the live performance of 'Barcelona' with Opera singer Monserrat Caballet, she was a famous singer that Freddie admired and always wanted to collab with and eventually they made an album together and were close friends until his passing ❤

What's even better than watching them in a video is watching them LIVE. I got to do that 3 times with Freddie and once with Paul Rodgers. Honestly, if you closed your eyes, you swear you were listening to their record. Freddie Mercury, is and will always be, one of the best!! Should do a reaction to 'White Queen' live, this was before they hit the world stage and shows the incredible talent of all four members of the band!

Love Joel's face when the song started 'properly' - 'yes, here we go!'
And Stefan's face when Freddie hits the note/riff after his beer :)

Don't lose sight of the fact that this was a song possibly midway through a very full-on set! And why are you overlooking the incredible vocal talent that is Roger Taylor singing and playing the drums amazingly at the same time

Check out Liar and Seven Seas of Rhye from Queen live at the rainbow. It showcases Freddie's 70s voice. It got deeper in the 80s.

that switch from the piano to Freddies 'half mic stand' is pure perfection ... Queen were at this time THE greatest rock band on the planet and to be honest only a few have come close to them since ... we are talking here the best of the best

It's one of my favourite Queen songs, too. What a singer. What a performer.
Queen was one of the best bands in the world. Shame the music industry has changed for the worse. It's hard for that kind of originality, creativity, and sheer talent to come through now and make it..
