When they performed this song at "Rock N Rio" the audience not only sang to Freddie but they also gave a great call out to Brian for his solo piece. Brian continues to do this song in concerts and they bring Freddie in for the last verse on a huge screen which always brings the audience to another level. It also occasionally brings Brian to tears,

I was there with a bunch of friends and I remember us building human pyramids while we were waiting for Queen to come on stage. When I was four months old, my mother took me to see the Rolling Stones swaddled me up in one of those little hippie wraps as she danced away to the stones. Not to be outdone by this four months later, my father took me to go and see Pink Floyd. I’m not sure how he had me wrapped up but yeah, I’ve been to some greatest concerts within my own lifetime. I'd encourage you to listen to the album recording - very different and performed on piano with a bit of harp, and amazing backing vocals all by Freddie. Gorgeous original version of this song. Brian really hasn't gotten any credit from anything that I've read for arranging this song to be performed accompanied by acoustic guitar - it's almost like a different song from the album version and equally good, but in a different way.

This is such a special song for them and for Queen fans, Freddie wrote it for Mary the love of his life and even to this day Brian May performs it with Freddie on the screen, and you’re right, this whole concert is about 2 hours long, it was kind of a breather, I’d say especially for Roger (drums) who needed to rest physically and vocally too, at some point Brian does a long guitar solo so Freddie can rest as well.
If you’re doing more from Wembley 1986 I’d suggest a classic which is Under Pressure, you saw Freddie do a bit of a vocal warm up with the crowd in Live Aid and here he does it much longer, it’s their collaboration with David Bowie who isn’t there so Roger sings it with Freddie, it’s truly amazing, and for another slow song there’s Who Wants To Live Forever which is just one of their saddest most beautiful songs. To me this whole performance is much better than Live Aid but a lot of people don’t know it. Hope to see more Queen in the future because I truly love your reactions to them!!

That was betty boop.she was on the back.
After Freddie passed the lead singer of free joined rodger and brian to continue queen john decided to leave show bizz totally.
It didn't work out with the free lead singer so adam lambert became the new lead singer.
During the concerts rodger will be left on stage by himself to perform this then Freddie ( i think from this performance?) appears on screen and at the end rodger puts his hand out like he's going to touch Freddie's hand it's very emotional for everyone.

“Is this the world that we created” was also a part of this performance, although short in duration it is also worth watching.

He uses the mic stand because, I believe, he couldn’t get it from the stand so he pulled it off. The rest is history.

I was at this concert - still one of the best concerts I ever attended. The line-up was INXS, The Alarm, Status Quo and Queen. Fantastic day!!

I rememember thst day and that concert as though it was just yesterday. That song was a highlight for me amongst a whole number of classic Queen songs but to be in a crowd of 70,000+ and almost everyone sing along with Freddie , word perfect still sends tigles trough my now aging body.A highlight of my almost 60 years on Planet Earth andsomething i will take to the grave with me .Freddie was Queedmn , the greatest frontman in rock history but the magic was also in the relationship on stage betwee Freddiw , Brian, Roger and John and lets not also forget Spike , who was the unknown 5th member of Queen and a behind the scenes of Keybord player
