Microphone pick-up and hand-off between piano chords; effortless, flawless, beautifully, smoothly done. Queen trademark, music and song played at the highest level!! ❤
'Where did that come from?'...That's Freddie Mercury! Greatest frontman of all time
Roger Taylor is one if the most underrated singers of all time.
Freddie is probably the greatest front man ever ... Each band member could sing, play at least one or more instrument's, write music / lyrics and each one of the band wrote at least one number one song ... Great reaction guys, thanks.
Best Singer of all time
@@thanksmr.obvious6427 Definitely
Not probably, definitely.
Each band member did in fact play multiple instruments. Three of the band members sang, Freddie Mercury, Roger Taylor, and Sir Brian May. John Deacon did not sing and readily admitted that he was not a singer. During concerts his mike was either turned down low or was off. Despite his not singing he was an equal integral member of the band who wrote some of their biggest hits.
Thanks! They are SO talented!
Freddie Mercury was a once in a lifetime performer. But all of the group were super talented.
No autotune, flawless performance and the crowds were interacting (not with their faces buried in their phones). I saw them live in the 80'ties, perfect concert!
The rest of us all ENVY you!
so true.. top top TOP performance
im pretty sure theyre just recording the performance 😭 people still interact LOL
I saw them live in '77. Best concert I ever saw. And I have seen a lot of concerts.
@@clownmonomaniac2630 In the film (not a recording), which can be watched on CZcams, the estimate was between 8000-18,0000 people there. You can see the audiences throughout the 2 days of filming and they were quite sizeable.
I had the privilege of seeing Queen over twenty times from 1978 to their last concert at Knebworth in 1986, it was a wonderful time to be alive.
He actually drank tea on stage for his amazing voice❤
There will never be another Freddie Mercury.
THIS IS QUEEN MY FRIENDS!!!!!
⚡👊🏻⚡
Im so thankfull that my dad put me on to Queen since i was young 🙏❤
"Where did that come from"
It all came from Freddie's golden voice.
The Live Aid show is a must watch imo. Queen the band was flawless but Freddie Mercury really was something else entirely, the stage presence, the voice, the carisma, the way he interacted with the audience. Freddie truly was one of a kind.
Queen at Live Aid is recognised as the best live performance in history (i think U2 had that honour but only for 80 minutes). If you know, you know ;)
Not to mention he had been having throat problems, but when he got on that stage he was In The Zone and sang near perfection.
From what I heard, he said afterwards, that his throat was on fire and he felt like he had been gargling with glass. Now There is true loyalty and dedication. To his band mates, to the audience, to his fans, to his family, to the world, really... Freddie gave us his everything, always, but that evening in particular was truly magic. Because Bohemian Rhapsody was of course, a movie, timelines had to be moved along, so when you think about it, it's kind of hard to believe how much time had actually elapsed between the breakup of the band, to Freddie's epiphany and apology and Live Aid. You wouldn't have thought they could have been apart for that long. But thank the Heavens that Freddie put his pride aside and asked for that forgiveness everyone needed. And yes, if they had not performed at Live Aid, they would have regretted it the rest of their lives.
💔 🧡🖤💔🧡🖤💔🧡🖤💔🧡🖤💔🧡🖤💔💛
Perhaps the greatest performance of "Radio Ga-Ga, of our generation.
@@monkee1969 Yeah. Was not a fan of their recordings at the time ....then watched Live Aid. Jaw dropping.
@@CuzKatieSaysSo Yes it would have been really sad if they didnt come together again with what happened with Freddie later. Live Aid was really important aswell and they couldnt have made it on a better occation either :)
There will never be another Freddie.. R.I.P.
I saw Queen and Freddie live in 81, GREAT show.
Freddie is one of the best singers and Queen is one of the best bands to grace this earth. Freddie wall full of personality and pizzazz. He definitely was born to be a performer. He is dearly missed.
😁👍🌷
Yes! This was a perfect performance. The whole concert was amazing. I was there Nov 24, 1981 in Montreal for my 24th birthday. We drove 5000 miles return to be there. To this day, I remember that day with pure clarity. One of my best memories, to be sure.
You actually went????
@@marioaguileraiii8181 I did! Drove in winter conditions from northern Alberta across country down to Montreal. Then back to Alberta the day after the concert. One of the best road trips I ever went on! Sadly, Freddie also died on my birthday in 1991. I lite a candle for him and play Who Wants To Live Forever on the 24th of Nov every year.
@@myowndrum286 wow that is an awesome memory to have !
Sadly he died when I was 2 years old but thanks to my mom I grow up listening to his voice . Rest in Peace LEGEND!
Very cool!
I had the privilege of seeing Queen live twice back in the 70s. No one owned the stage like Freddy Mercury!
watch "queen live aid 1985". the whole 20 minutes. 🙂 it is considered the greatest live-performance in history.
The reason they sound so good is because they are all talented musicians and singers. No auto tune and lip sync that you see a lot of with today's 'artists'.
You can't beat Queen performing live. There's no band like Queen....and there's no lead singer like Freddie mercury. He's one of a kind. The GOAT!!!!
Freddie will never be forgotten !
standing ovation for ROGER THE DRUMMER ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You forgot to mention how amazing it was to have the drummer and guitarist do vocalist without losing rhythm.. You have to understand the greatness and ability of this group that were not only unique but altered and inspired musicians to this day.
Freddie was THE BEST frontman, vocalist, entertainer of that era. There aren’t enough words to say how great Queen was. I feel bad for people who weren’t around for the music of the 60s, 70s and 80s. We had the best music ever. Thanks for the great reaction. 👏👏
What era do you mean? 20 Million years before - Earth is blown away by an exploding Sun?
Queen is the best band EVER, and Freddie was a magical being.
One of the greatest voices ever
Freddie was an incredible performer ! I miss him so much 🙏
Another brilliant vocalist in the band was Roger Taylor, the drummer. Very underrated
Standing ovation for Roger ❤❤
Don’t worry he’s very much rated
Yea!!!!
Queen is the best band ever...with the best frontman ever!!!
Listen to Queens Live performances.
No auto tune just PURE TALENT!!!
6:26 Brian had an issue with his guitar (exit stage right) Rodger on drums gives Freddy the cue to stall for time, Freddy (says 'i got this') and seemlessly works the crowd. 7:47 Freddy looks left, sees Brian is ready to return & its back on with the song.
As a sad side note this epic gig was 10 years to the day before Freddy passed 😢 & we all still miss him very much.
Fantastic reaction. You can’t go wrong with any Queen live.
Freddie had bottles of beer on the piano, but in the cups was tea with honey to help his throat so he could get those high notes 😁😁
Wasn’t the beer a promotion? Prominently displayed for renumeration.
Freddie DOES drink on stage. One of those cups doesnt have water in it .. Its vodka "for his voice" 😂
This is him "training" the audiece .. which he did well .. Cuz LIVE AID 😂
There will NEVER be a band that comes CLOSE to Queen.
There are not many singers that could hold a candle to Freddie Mercury.
But I'd hold a candle FOR Freddie. RIP!
George Michael did an outstanding job in his tribute to Freddie. It's a pity he couldn't have toured with Queen. He had the style & stage presence that could have worked.
I was from the UK & would have LOVED to have watched QUEEN, sadly no cash!! Just watched it on tv at the time!! Just sensational, I was 21 yrs old then!! Lived in Liverpool UK. QUEEN were just so incredible in every way, ofcourse the great Freddie Mercury was the amazing lead singer/pianist/guitarist/songwriter. Love, love, loved them!!!!!!! xx
Freddie's performance is beyond normal human abilities and that includes each band member. Everybody smashed this performance. My next favorite live performance by Queen (They are consistently the best live band ever, in my opinion) is White Queen live at Odeon, Hammersmith 12/24/1975. There is along instrumental portion in this song that sums up why this band is so legendary. Every member is top in their field and the history and facts about the members is amazing and bountiful. Thank you for your reactions.
I totally agree, this passionate performance is jaw dropping.
THANK YOU!!! I thought I was the only person who thought White Queen was so amazing! Freddie's piano skills are on full display and the psychedelic feeling is unmatched.
Thank you too!
👏👏👏 You can't go wrong with Queen! This is one of the greatest live performances ever. The band (all 4 of them) wrote their music in about 15 different genres and Freddie Mercury the absolutely untrained singer could sing anything effortless. As the other subscribers recommended the 20 minutes set of Live Aid is a worth to watch.
The folks in the audience were blessed to be part of such an experience. It doesn't get much better than this performance. 4 lads, no electronic trickery used/needed today. Roger Taylor's drumming and background vocals are epic. And to an even more PERFECT or EPIC performance check out Queens 24 minute set at Live Aid 1985.
One of the greatest live performances ever
Shout out to Roger Taylor for his drumming prowess and his vocal abilities - legendary \m/
Nice reaction y'all 🖒🖒
This is an amazing band. No auto tune back then. This is pure talent. Freddie was the BEST frontman EVER! Rogers backup vocals are amazing as well. Live aid is again the BEST live performance EVER. Not just by Queen, but by any band!
Ask any Queen fan and they will always tell you "watch them live in preference to studio versions", although some of the videos are great too. As for suggestions, may I offer "Under Pressure" live at Wembley, where you will get Freddie's great "eey oh" interaction with the audience, "Love Of My Life" live in Rio, where the audience actually sings TO Freddie, and of course the great, iconic "Live Aid". But make sure you pick a video of Live Aid that doesn't cut the ending - a lot of the most recent reactions are spoilt by that and we fans end up a bit disappointed. Anyway, Queen is such a deep rabbit hole that I could just go on and on, but I won't! Discover it all for yourselves and enjoy!
Freddie, the greatest. Period. We'll never have anyone like him.
I saw them on either side of this "Montreal 1981".
Saw them on that tour at Madison Square Garden in September 1980 and the Hot Space tour in July 1982.
Yes they actually sound that good live!
I highly recommend checking out "Save Me" from this same show.
I have been on this Earth 69 years. I love music. This performance was the best ever live by any person and band. Freddie was almost too good for this world. He did his thing and never took no for an answer. Thank you Farrokh Bulsara.....you are remembered but also missed.
A wonderful reaction I loved it , you have an incredible journey in front of you I know I am 70 so I feel blessed to have enjoyed a life of so many eras of mucic and there are wonderful memories entwined in within them all .💖💜💖💜UK
Real music, real talent
Amazing Freddie, Queen. The best rock band that has ever been.🏆
I felt privileged to have seen this band perform live in 1984. Freddie was the greatest showman ever, and the band honestly sound exactly same on their albums! If I close my eyes I was at this same concert, it sounds just as I remember and I was in Africa! God bless you Freddie we love you forever
I also like this performance because it also shows off Roger's vocals (the drummer)
You must checkout live aid one of Queens best performance absolutely necessary to see just amazing Great reaction to the greatest front man ever RIP Freddy
Still miss Freddie today I was lucky enough to of seen him preform on three occasions, with Queen he was the ultimate performer, singer and writer of great music. Help turn queen into the massive group the were. Taken from us way to early but that's life. I still own every album on vinyl and on cd. But I've always been a rock fan and listener and Queen were THE rock band during my life and luckily their music will last forever.
Ty for reacting to my favorite queen performance..r.i.p.freddie...
I grew up listening to queen and loved them as I have gotten older I really appreciate them just how much talent in one band live God bless
I like that you mentioned the stage presence. Freddy was arguably one of the greatest front men of all time. There have been some really good front men be he was awesome beyond awesomeness. They have a bunch of great songs to react too.
Freddie Mercury, the best front man ever! The entire band is Fire!!
Saw them live back in 1986 and up to this day there is NOTHING that's comparable to Queen live. Some are close, like Tool or Nightwish live, but that performance I witnessed in 1986 is still the best concert I have ever seen.
Lucky thing! I never got to see them live!
If you both haven't heard of watched the live aid performance of Queen, I HIGHLY recommend you react to it. It's under 30 minutes but it's unforgettable.
The ultimate Male rock voice!!!
They were great, great, great!
If you want Queen at it's best watch the video of their performance at Live Aid, one if not the best performance ever.
The LiveAid performance of Queen is the absolute best stage performance ever happening. As long as humans will live, nobody would be better.
60.000 people, who had complete different preferences were taken by freddie in seconds. His aura and crowed control was beyond human behaviour. He rocked that show. For sure the movie is wrong, but not about this performance. I saw it on TV and was flashed.
"Dragon Attack" from this same performance is so good...very funky!
Freddie Mercury will always be one of if not the best front man ever.
Queen was a band that worked hard to be the best band and give all to each new audience. Also, Freddie always changed up the songs. There is another Montreal 1981 evening where he really had fun changing Somebody To Love.
Queen.....PERFECTION!!!
Once your down the Queen rabbit hole you'll never want to come out they are AMAZING. I have been a fan for over 30 years having seen them three times, my first time at Live Aid in 1985 when I was 16 years old. Here are some other reactions that will blow your mind. Queen is the only band I know that sound better live than in the studio.
Live Aid 1985 - full 20 minute set
Dragon Attack - Live Montreal 1981
Save Me - Live Montreal 1981
Bohemian Rhapsody - Live Montreal 1981
Bohemian Rhapsody - official video when they were so young
Under Pressure - Live Wembley 1986
Who Wants to Live Forever - Live Wembley 1986
One Vision - Live Wembley 1986
Another One Bites the Dust - Live Wembley 1986
Please please please do more Queen as above.
Hi from Germany 😊
In an interview Reporter ask freddy wich Instrument he likes the most to play...he said "..the audience"😬
We never forget Freddy ❤✌
Thank you for the reaction. All of Queen's live performances are better than the recorded versions. Try "Who Wants To Live Forever" Live in Budapest 1986 you won't be sorry.
Everytine i watch that performance ...its just so breathtaking .So truly great 🏆
HEY GUYS,
FANTASTIC REACTION!
This was Freddie Mercury's FAVORITE song to perform... He even said that "from a writing standpoint", he thought it was a better song that "Bohemian Rhapsody"!
FYI.... If you really liked this performance, you should ALSO check out:
"SOMEBODY TO LOVE" LIVE AT...
MILTON KEYNES BOWL IN 1982
The Milton Keynes Bowl performance of this song is actually the one that Queen put in their official compilation of Best Live Performances! The 1982 Milton Keynes rendition tends to "fly under the radar" because 1981 Montreal was filmed in 35 mm... But, EVERY reactor who's watched both, has said they like the Milton Keynes performance even MORE. (One reactor actually said "Montreal is the appetizer, Milton Keynes Bowl is the meal!")
----and it shows how great musicians they were - - they never played the same way - they improvised - and followed each other - a truly tight group.
Queen show show!!!! Os quatros fantásticos!!! Saudades eternas do grande e espetacular fenomenal FREDDIE MERCURY.......... REI DO ROCK.
i saw Queen twice in the 80's , 1980 @ the NEC Birmingham , 1982 @ Leeds united football ground Elland Road , both amazing concerts , Freddie and the band at their best , what a legend he was and still is , greatest front man of a group / band ever .
Now check out their entire LIVE performance at Wembly in 1985. A little long, but covers most of their biggest hits, and very entertaining.
Wembley 1986 on the Magic Tour. This Wembley show was 10 shows away from Knebworth, their last live performance ever. Unless you are talking about Live Aid? 20 of the best minutes EVER!
This is my fave live-performed song of all Queen's appearances of all time. Anyone else wanna see them react to the Live-Aid one? Thumbs up if so! They'll love it like we do and did, I'm sure of it! :)
I’ll never get tried of watching people react to this video!! Freddie was the best of the best!! ❤
Great reaction. I appreciate your appreciation for Queen. Their live aid is a must. It’s a great performance. You won’t regret it. 😁👍🏾
Una delle più belle performance di Freddie, non ci sono più aggettivi per descrivere questo meraviglioso artista..lui è la storia del rock e i Queen i migliori di sempre!
The liquid in the cups and bottle on his piano is actually tea for his throat. The bottle is a beer bottle and in one interview he discussed his need for tea and not alcohol during performance. My first concert was Queen in Kansas City, Missouri in 1978. First and best concert I ever attended. Queen Live Killers. Amazing lights, show and best performance ever.
Few people mention the SUPERB backing vocals of Rodger Taylor on drums!!!!!!!!!!!
Please react to their Live Aid performance 1985, seen as the greatest live performance ever recorded in history. Fun fact, Superman always wears a Freddie Mercury shirt.
Nicely done you two! :)
Freddie.... Wow, he’s amazing in so many ways, it’s surreal ❤
Best frontman ever, and his vocals are truly over the top! He could sing anything... and superbly.
The band in its entirety, phenomenal! All of them, and particularly all together. They were experts and knew exactly how to feed off each other! They took it seriously and produced the best results.
Freddie is a true Legend! One of a beautiful kind ❤
Thanks for doing this reaction. :)
Freddie and QUEEN are absolutely the best ❤
Thanks for keeping Freddie Mercury alive and you and everyone reading this should seek Queen performances
my all time favorite band. Catch their LiveAid performance 1985. They stole the show!!
I'm so happy you've discovered Queen!!! Their live performances are always the best. I have subscribed. Thank you (Find me Somebody to Love at Milton Keynes 1982 is amazing, fun to compare both performances).
My favorite Queen anecdote (and I saw them live): An interviewer once asked Mercury what instrument he played. "The audience, darling." BTW, he did NOT drink alcohol on stage. He was afraid he would burp into his microphone.
I don't know how many times I've watched this video, goosebumps every time 😊
Hi both, great reactions as always..
When you get the chance, listen to Queen at live aid
UK 1985 , it will blow you away!
Ps, love your
Dimash reactions
Too !
Keep the good work up!
Thx so much! We appreciate the feedback & glad you're enjoying the ride!

greatest live band ever
era without autotune.. just pure talent.. rip freddy..
Insane vocals by freddie you can hear all over the CZcams he is considered the best showman ever and all the members of queen are great reaction keep going
Welcome to the Queen rabbit hole... They'll never stear you wrong.... Enjoy
Legends!🥰🎶DEFINITELY react to their EPIC Live Aid Concert!! Unbelievable
B&B, you’ll love Queen. I am 60 years old and grew up during their era. One of the greatest bands ever, if not the greatest! I find it so amusing when I see “youngsters” like you on YT discovering our oldies’ icons and not knowing much about them. 🙃 Good music is good music, does not matter if it is 300 years old or 3 days. Oh yes, I am a Dimash dear.
They were and are "SOMEBODY TO LOVE". Now you really know why they are loved. I am a Queen fan since they began, late 70's thru,,,, I literally got physically ill when Freddie got sick and died. Geez, they were an iconic group. I have yet to hear a group like them. Live or on disc. I knew they were perfectionists and would rehearse, even if no one else did. (Live Aid) They made everyone else, McCartney, John, literally everyone look sad. Backstage, they were elated. They actually "saved" Live Aid"s donations. Their performance was, to this day, considered the "best" live performance of any group in history. That's why the phrase "The Note Heard Around the World" was coined.. that was Freddie's. So, all I can say is Kudos to you'all for listening and loving them like the rest of the world does. I miss Fred and Queen. He was someone yo watch. On stage, he was Megga Magnificent. God what a showman. Congrats to BARS and BARS...
I bet you know Queen you just don’t know you do! Best band live ever. Ever heard We Are the Champions, We Will Rock You, Another One Bites The Dust? All Queen. Go down the rabbit hole and you will hear the most eclectic rock band’s music ever made!
I was fortunate enough to see them a few times. The first time was during their first U.S. tour in 1974. Always a great show.
When Freddie leaves the piano for the second time, Brian had some sort of malfunction with his guitar and disappears to the back of the stage. Freddie looks behind to see what's happening and fills the gap seamlessly with his audience participation until Brian returns, gives a little nod and Freddie resumes singing. Consumate professionals. RIP Freddie!
It just shows me how old I am that there are people out there who don't know all this 'old' stuff. Glad you enjoyed it. FYI, after Freddie died, John Farnham was one of the people Queen thought of replacing him with. John didn't want to travel away from Australia that much, so he turned them down. Good pick, this is one of their most outstanding tracks.
Australian here, didn't know that Farnham was considered as a replacement for Mercury, interesting! Might of needed some adjusting of style but could have worked.
