Oh I got to remember that.
Dang straight.
Best line ever!

Roger Taylor doesnât get enough credit for how powerful his vocals are. This performance proves that. He did all of the high range vocals on Bohemian Rhapsody.
Jerry McGaghey I watch every reaction to this performance just to see who gives a Roger credit. Of course, youâre going to notice Freddieâs amazing-ness. And rightfully so. But this shows that he wasnât Queen, he was a part of Queen. Even vocally, if it had just been Freddie, it wouldnât have been nearly as good. Rogerâs voice (and ability to sing while DRUMMING) is fantastic, and this is the best video to hear and see that.
Jerry McGaghey
My two daughters who have fallen in love with Queen..and think Iâm pretty cool to have seen them in concert in their prime..named our new car âRogerâ after Roger Taylor. We are going to put his name and some drumsticks on the back đđ» đ„
Totally agree my friend. Don't forget that S.O.B. can play drums like a beast too.
Roger is incredible and it shows so well in this video. If you watch Wembley 86 (the Saturday concert) the amount of work he does with singing and drumming is mindblowing. He is so essential to the Queen sound and I always like to see people giving him the credit and kudos he deserves. Rogercam is really worth watching too if you love this guy like I do.
True words! Love me some Freddie, but Roger's vocals always gave me chills!! He's incredible!
Drummer Roger Taylor works his ass off, between drumming and giving Freddie the main back up vocals. Gotta love it!
Remember that recording scene in the movie..freddie kept making him repeating that part in the song...Roger himself got an underrated badass high pitch vocal.
Roger is the "secret weapon" of Queen..with that voice ya know only dogs can hear! Y'all know what I mean!
I love alllllll of them and miss Freddie, but we are so lucky, that we have Mark MARTEL who sounds so much like him. â€â€
R.I.P Freddie we love you!â€
Yep. Just listening youâd think they have separate backup singers and itâs Brian and Roger!
Iâm 58 and Iâve been saying this for years WE HAD THE BEST DAMN MUSIC back in the day!
I'm 61 yrs old. And I couldn't agree more.
Absolutely mate, back then was talent and people wrote from the heart and not thinking of money or fame. Back then it wasnât what you look like
Iâm 17 and youâre damn right.
1962 was a great year
I'm 63. Yep. We were spoiled rotten and didn't know it.
"What instrument do you play, Freddie?"
"I play the audience, baby, I play the audience."
I won't be a Rock star, I will be a legend
No headphones, no backing track, no autotune, just 4 of the most brilliant musicians LIVE! All 4 wrote #1 hits. Not even the Beatles could claim that! Great reaction!!! Queen, never to be matched live! Just thankful so much of Queen was filmed in 35mm!!
Freddie Mercury: Piano, Lead Vocals
Dr. Brian May: Guitar, back up vocals
Roger Taylor: Drums, back up vocals
John Deacon: Bass Guitar
Thank YouđđŸ
In any other band Roger Taylor is the lead singer.
@@mookie7688 Brian May could be lead singer in any other band, as well.
And again right on point Ice Cream.
And Dr Brian was a pretty decent pianist! I loved John playing keys on his "You're My Best Friend." And his lip syncing on a few videos! Oh yeah and that little bit of John playing drums in the One Vision video!
I forgot how powerful and amazing his voice was. Hurts me that he's gone.
30 yrs next year-hard to believe RIP11/25/91
He's not gone he's still alive I our hearts
same here
Me too I was so lucky to see them in 82
Everyone in this band was extraordinary. How many bands have a drummer who can sing well?
It's just ridiculous that people this talented all came together and melded into the perfection that is Queen.
Freddie Mercury......There can only be one!!!!
Lol "Who wants to live Forever"
Well played, sir, well played!
There's not many bands that can sound this perfect and together in a live concert and not a studio track. Freddie and the gang were SO infused with power and talent that it still literally takes my breath away
I love that Queen are loved by everyone, not just us Brits. We'll never see another Freddie, but his light will always shine bright. Great reaction!
It's really hard to argue Freddie wasn't the best front man ever
Why won't this let me give more than 1 like? Stoopid CZcams!
Great but not at the top.Only room for one King
Who would be fool enough to argue that he wasn't? This man was a god!
No?, Freddie was one of the best front man.
Queen is not even in my top 10 all time artists in terms of general music, yet I still rate Freddie Mercury the greatest live performer of all time, and it's not even close.
One of the GREATEST live performances of all time!! Not even my favorite Queen song, but I dare anyone to find a better live performance of any song!
How about Journey live 1981 Houston ?
@@iraklyspiropulos1191 still taking Queen 81. Love journey but Montreal and Live Aid are just on another level.
Music is art, art is subjective, and I guarantee that there is an appreciator of art, on this planet, that has a "better" live performance that includes zeros members of the band, featured above. 2 years later...try again...
Queen is my favorite band and I believe the best band in history. I adore Mercury, with his four octave voice, and energy...But the most interesting person imo is May on the guitar. Great guitarist and human being. Could have explored space even if he wasn't in a band. I think what makes Queen great is that bands don't often last too long in the music industry, particularly with four completely different, and complimenting personalities. But their character is what kept them together, I think in part because they were so well educated, and they were more sophisticated emotionally than most bands.
Totally agree! They worked hard to achieve greatness and they all were so talented in so many aspects. There will NEVER be another band to rival Queen and NEVER EVER be another Freddie Mercury! Legend â„ïž
Preach!
Truth!
He had a 5 octave voice x
True words! Thank you!
Hearing Freddieâs voice is like hearing the voice of an old friend that you havenât seen in a long time. â€ïž We miss you Freddie.
There will never be another frontman like Freddie
They are one of the most educated bands ever, including Brian May (lead) who is a rocket scientist.
True. Dr Brian May has a Phd in Astro Physics. John Deacon a 1st class Hons Degree in Electrical Engineering. Roger Taylor a Degree in Biology and was studying to be a Dentist before giving it up to be in Queen full-time. Freddy had a Dip in Arts (Design, I think)
And it comes across in their music and lyrics
Gus Lakis And their interviews - all four are so eloquent.
jim Nicosia two bandmembers with doctorates.. The drummer was a dentist & lead guitarist as an astro physicist and the bass player was in electronics engineer. â€ïž
jim Nicosia agreed and you can take the âone ofâ out of it. Until four Phi Beta Kappas from MIT start having charting rock records Queen is safe...
Don't forget about the drummers voice!
I literally rewound whenever he sang like 10 times just to hear what he sounds like lol
He is truly amazing.
Iâm in Love With My Car was always amazing when done live. Better than the recording!
This was Freddie's favorite song. Because it involved Roger's falsetto voice and the sound of John's bass and Brians back-up and guitar. He adored that nobody stood out from the other. đ
NOBODY ever felt they didn't get their money's worth and then some when they went to a Queen show! Besides being a phenomenal singer Freddie was an incredible performer. Roger, Brian and John too. And yeah, sometimes only dogs can hear Roger's vocals!
i am 60 years old from montreal and yes i was at that concert the best concert i ever seen .try to impress a girl and it work .queen is my favorite band , the diversity of their music , freddy vocals, brian may guitar, john deacon base think under pressure and another one bites the dust, and roger taylor on drums and back vocal one of the best rock band ever.p.s. no autotune.
François Payette lucky you!!!!!!
đđŸ
Amazing!!! I bet that is unforgettable. I would have loved to see them live.
This song will never get old.
Which night did you attend, this pefomance is 25 november 1981 and the was 2 nights 24 nov and 25 nov.
Can you share us your thoughts of the concert and how it was?
Every time I see this video I end up saying, "DAMN!!"
Freddie Mercury's voice is so amazing it makes me cry. So much passion. Which is very rare in today's music. Where everything is autotuned. QUEEN is not autotuned
In person, when an entire arena is stomping & singing along, you just have to hope that the place doesn't shake apart. On the way home I'd actually feel my body buzzing.
In my humble opinion, he was the greatest front man of all time. What a talent, what a great band.
Iâm going to have to agree with you on that. David Lee Roth is right up there also. Just my humble opinion.
Jagger? Plant? ... Jagger at least matches for charisma and Plant was a better vocalist as well as being a great front man .... Mercury sure had the charisma though in spades for sure. Opinions
He was the most incredible front man that ever lived
@@Mark13091961 Jagger and Plant are great singers but Freddie was next level. Not because of his vocals or charisma but because unlike the later he put his soul on the stage. And those who think different are just fooling themselves
@@MegaSlowburner opinions eh
Freddie Mercury was truly, truly something special!!
You canât help but be moved by this performance. Freddie was beyond words and the whole group is amazing. When there was true talent and creativity.
You: "Is that it??" Electric! The synchronization, the harmonizing.. Freddie took us to church!!
Almost literally, because this song was inspired by his love of Arethea Franklin's voice and gospel music. He said if he did a duet with her it would just be her singing and him saying "Ahhh!" at the end!
@@mollyfrom5556 Thank you! Damn, I miss him SO much!! đ§đ
I have heard this a million times and it still brings tears to my eyes. Not only because it's so good but because it's so sad that Freddie died so young and the world has missed out on almost 28 years of beautiful music he could still be making. Freddie was a pure genius. Nobody will ever touch him.
You don't realize what a powerhouse he was until anyone else in the world tries to sing Queen's music! Legendary mustache too!
4 souls who were MEANT to come together and give us something unforgettable. Iâll never stop being amazed by what they did!
Great reaction...great song... Freddie is the G.O.A.T
The more I hear Freddie and Queen I am amazed at the talent. Thank you.
He owned the audience. This is what we need now blast Freddie over the airways.
The greatest version of any song performed live. Period.
For another awesome live Queen video you must, must react to Love of My life- live from Tokyo. The audience's reaction to Freddie and his reaction to them is just priceless. Freddy and Queen were loved internationally. I mean if Japanese people can sing the lyrics to their songs that really says something. ps Jamal you look so handsome in this video. Love the outfit...Ms B
There will never be another like him. Miss him so much.
Your Queen reactions make me smile. Did I see that his voice brings a tear to your eye, too?
i cried to to this amazing performance

The older I get, the more I appreciate Queen
Your facial expressions gave Queen and the song justice! Awesome reaction! One of my favorites! Jamal loved this song so much he didn't even bother to pause it for commentary because this performance moved him so much!
I've been listening to this for 42 years. It never gets old. Much love to you for having a listen. You felt it. I love to see someone feel the music. Thank you. â€ïž
Love watching your reactions, thanks for what u do , Roger Taylor on drums & vocals , John Deacon on bass , Dr. Brian May on guitar & vocals & of course , Fabulous Freddie, the voice! Love it! Peace out!
Watching your reactions is priceless makes me go back to the first time I heard this music. Thank you
QUEEN = GOAT. Period. đŻđŻ And ALL ages LOVE them!! They're TIMELESS!! My 12 year old son LOVES "Bohemian Rhapsody" & knows EVERY single word. RIP FREDDIE MERCURY. đđ
I've loved Queen for decades -- I'm always happy to see new people discover/react to Queen/Freddie. He was absolutely amazing
Itâs absolute magic! One of my favourite performances of all time.
Almost 40 years ago......still gives the chills! RIP Freddie...say hello to RJD!
To this day this is one of my favourite live performances, absolutely outstanding
Best live concert I've ever seen...and I've seen them all..Zeppelin..the Stones...the Who...but the strength...the professionalism...the voice. ..the range...the you're the first audience we've ever played for.. Freddie Mercury is no doubt the real deal...the best I've ever seen....
Not only were they musically talented, but they were one of the most educated bands as well!
Freddie had a degree in graphic art and design and designed the Queen logo with all their astrological signs on it.
Brian May, or Dr Brian May has a Phd in Astrophysics and has worked with NASA. Also the guitar he is playing is called the Red Special and he built it with his dad (who was an engineer) when he was a teenager out of odds and ends such as an old mantelpiece, a tabletop, some buttons and a knitting needle! It's still his main guitar to this day.
Roger Taylor who started out studying dentistry and ended up with a degree in Biology.
And last but never least John Deacon who has a degree in engineering and built an amp for them out of bits he found in a skip!
You should check out White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975. The way Brians guitar and Freddies piano intertwine is spine tingling.
Wonderful info...thanks....
Lfc Rules - When you talk about instruments intertwining, listen to Freddie's piano and Deaky's bass in Millionaire Waltz. The bass is a complex masterpiece.
Yes!! White Queen at the Odeon is one of their most amazing live performances (imo). It's a shame more people don't know it.
But deacon is also the pin up, you not seen him in drag wow
Back in 1975 !I discovered Queen while watching Midnight Special. I was 12 years old and memorized by this band. I even had a 4' poster of Queen on my bedroom wall. Many years later, Nov 1991 my husband and I are driving to work listening to the radio , the DJ announced Freddy Mercury had pasted away. Another victim of AIDS. I myself had lost one to many dear friends to this disease back in the early 80s. The DJ played Somebody to Love. I sobbed . I still listen to their music, and this song still makes me cry.
One of the best live performance bands to ever live!!!!
I was lucky enough be at the very last concert that Freddie performed with Queen. Knebworth Park, England, August 1986. That was one heck of a performance!!
That was a time when the artists wrote their hearts and did not pay people to write hits. The music from the mid-60s to the early 90s was phenomenal.
Like people aren't doing that today?
There's still plenty of people writing their own lyrics now, and even back in the 60's there were pop artists who had people write their songs for them.
Dolly Parton wrote a lot of other peopleâs music. Same with Willy Nelson. âI Will Always Love Youâ was written by Dolly to Willy to thank him for their writing career together
The most amazing voice to ever grace our ears. Ever. Not up for discussion.
By far, BEST REACTION EVER! That's how I feel every time I watch this video! E.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e! Goosebumps in my soul every time!!
Thank You MonicađđŸ
That really tells you what talent is when the live version sounds better than the studio version. They are the champions of the world!!! You had the right video man. I like your reactions they seem real and not pre planned
đđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸ
Queen live were always better than the studio versions - try listening to the hammer to fall version at live aid and then the studio version straight after, it gives you whiplash đ
Just the best. Best vocals. Best drummer. Best guitarist (lead is an astrophysicist). Queen could get the crowd going.
Greatest Band of all time.
Great reaction. Performances like this can touch your soul. Itâs legendary.
I get goosebumps every time I watch this performance.
Me too
They made it all look so simple. So much talent and such charisma.
I'm so glad that I grew up when these tunes first came out. Thank you Lord.
Have this concert performance on DVD, it's a blast. Early 80's Freddie was amazing. Dragon Attack is a banger too
Queens performances just send you to another world of energy. You could be feeling sad, happy, mad, or lazy, but when you watch these guys take over the stage, your mood just changes COMPLETELY. You feel that energy through your screen for reaaaaaaaal.
Yeah, I'm not sure even they knew the strength of the juju they were creating when they formed Queen.
That's live. No lipsync. Best voice ever
"On a scale from 1 to 10 where do you put that?" "I'll put it - " *SMACK* "Don't be asking me no stupid questions like that. It's off the scale." Love it!
in my option you ask on a scale from 1 to 10 where do you put that there is only one answer you can not rate any song from queen from 1to 10 because that would be comparing wine to crystal that starts at least 100.00 a bottle or maybe a BMW to a Bentley
"I still love you" Freddie Forever â€â€
Queen is one of the bands where every member is in the top echelon of their trade, along with The Who, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, Cream and a few others....
Cream? Come on man. Not even close.
@@bearblackhawk9362 Bassist Jack Bruce, Guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker.....are you nuts, that was a supergroup
Supergroup? They were together for only 2 years. 4 albums. And less than 10 high charting songs. Might as well add the traveling wilburys to this list. Or. Ringo starr and his allstar hand who jack bruce also played in. Lol. Cream is not in the class of Queen, The Rollings Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Rush, The Eagles, Pink Floyd , Yes or The Beatles. All 3 of creams members are great musicians but cream doesnt have the longevity to be listed with those other groups. Just sayin.
The amazing sound of Queen doing it again...
These videos make me feel lucky to have been around at a time when this music was being created, when we were listening to this stuff everyday. When I watch your channel I am taking a musical trip back to my youth.
Yep! That's Queen & The unforgettable, the one and only Freddie Mercury! â„ïž
Definitely one of the greatest live performances of all time, imo. A masterpiece!
Freddie Mercury the ultimate showman absolutely brilliant..
Freddie took us to church and then aways further out into the deeper waters. I'm so proud of Freddie for doing this song. Your reaction is much more than adequate. You felt it and you heard the soul in this man. Freddie: you were too good for this world. Rest In Peace.
That drum beat though. Nasty. My absolute favorite version of this classic.
Yes, you definitely found the right version of that song. That is one of my favorite performances ever!
Freddie was so beautiful. It always surprises me how few posters seem to notice.
Master vocals and master musicians! The stars âš will never align for 4 amazingly talented musicians like these to hookup again. Queen đ was a once in a lifetime EXPERIENCE!
That electricity...the power of awesome.music
Your enthusiasm is infectious! I love how much you are loving Queen! Long live da Queen!! đđ
One of the things I most enjoy about your reactions is seeing the emotion of a song play out over your face. You're an awesome human being, Jamel. Keep rocking.
Freddie Mercury was simply an amazing human being. His Amazing and powerful voice has influenced so many singers today. He had an incredible stage presence and Energetic passion that was intoxicating.
Miss Him Tremendously đ
Love, love love Queen. Freddie was the ultimate entertainer and oh what a voice! Bryan, John and Roger's musical talents and backup voices!
Roger's voice!!!!! Belting it out while never missing a beat!!!!!!
Brian has a beautiful voice. Roger has the high parts. Check out I'm in love with my car.
It was a whole concert in 1 song! I've listened to this song 100's of times an never get sick of it! LOL Good choice!
That's what was so great (well, a LOT of things were so great, but in particular) about the best of the classic rock bands. Every song took you on a journey.
Me too
An amazing band with amazing talent! Legends!
Fantastic performance and I loved your reaction. Another version you should check out is George Michael performing "Somebody to Love" at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. George was great, but the song is proof of what a phenomenal artist Freddie was. His music alone can control the crowd. It's A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.!!!
Probably the finest live performance you will ever see. Faultless, just faultless. I feel very privileged to have seen Queen live twice. As good, if not better, than in the studio.
Just think about playing drums and singing perfect, complex backing vocals at the same time! Stunning!
This is by far one of my favorite live performances of all time....love watching people's reaction to experiencing this for the first time....never gets old.....Thank you Jamel!
Their classic line-up was Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals) and John Deacon (bass).
That was the right video haha. This is my all time favorite live performance. Not just from Queen, but out of all performances. Freddie is amazing. There was was and there never will be anyone like him. So special â€â€â€ Imagine if he was still here. Oh, and it's Brian May on the guitar, John Deacon on bass and Roger Taylor on drums đđ» Great reaction.
AMAZING!! đșđ»đđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸđđŸ
@@jamelakajamal another great song by Queen is called who wants to live forever I believe it was written by Brian May it is an amazing son
It's also my ALL TIME FAVE LIVE PERFORMANCE. â€
Sanna Olsson mine too probably. Pure magic. Sheer joy. Probably my favourite song too.
Oh yes!!!! I've loved these guys since 1978!!! Man oh man, this song never gets old!!
God; I do love watching people reacting to Freddie & Queen!
Freddie Mercury "The KING OF VOICE!"
One of the best front men in music ever that voice and that voice and that voice
And everyone else just watch and listen... this what you call a Masterpiece Performance. Everyone in this group are masterful musicians. No auto tune or back ground dancers needed. The real deal. Authenticity at its best!
You have Freddie, obviously, on drums is Roger Taylor, lead guitar Brian May and bass guitar John Deacon :)
That was THE BEST AND THE MOST HONEST REACTION TO A song EVER!!!! Really loved how you were stymied (in a great way) by a Classic we grew up with
Jamal,
I đ you. The innocent from you when you hear a song you had never heard before is so real. And you don't hide your feeling from feeling a song. And what a pleasure to watch, Thank You! đ„°
