I love how Queen so often looks like four guys from different bands who were thrown on a stage together, especially given just how in sync and TOGETHER they are with their rhythm and harmonies when they perform. It's hilarious and kind of awesome in its own way that they're so distinct.

It's true Elvis wore leather and did it remarkably in '68. This outfit though is derived from the motorcycle look of Tom of Finland. A gay icon adopted by the gay community. Freddie was remarkably camp and often wore outlandish gay fashion trends that sometimes made it onstage - and often under the noses of the mainstream audience. The bike leather look is further enhanced by the black leather cap sitting on the lid of the piano. Freddie's looks often mirrored what was popular in the gay clubs such as this one and his later mid-80s "Clone" look. The jeans, singlet, slicked-back hair and clipped moustache.
@@taupopoki25 I didn't examine the outfit to the degree in which you did. I'm content to say Freddie was a big Elvis fan and surmise that his outfit is reminiscent of the Elvis 68 comeback special.

The fun thing about Queen is that all four were incredible musicians. All four wrote hit singles. All, except bassist John Deacon, sang lead vocals. In fact, drummer Roger Taylor sings the high harmonies and hit the high notes in Bohemian Rhapsody. Brian May built the guitar himself and is now an astrophysicist.

Man it must be so awesome discovering all these legendary songs. So many people are trapped in these boxes of listening to only one or two genres of music, and they're truly depriving themselves of some of the greatest musical works of all time. Good on you man.
I saw one of the most amazing things. It was more than awesome. Search Green Peace Concert and choose the one with the empty stage. Before anyone had even played on the stage, the entire crowd was singing to âBohemian Rhapsodyâ, which was playing over the PA. I actually cried, with goosebumps. I was impressed that when the crowd was singing, they did the highs and lows, not just singing. Then when it gets to Brian playing his guitar, look how many people in the crowd are head banging! Ya gotta Love âQueenâ. Itâs sad because you canât have âQueenâ unless both Freddie and John are on stage with only Brian and Roger. If have insulted someone, I apologize. I feel bad and sad. Anything this band and Freddie do is phenominal i love all the wee extras from Freddie just adds to this classicđ
This song has always been one of my favorites. When I was in high school and I was starting to figure out that I was bisexual, this song really meant a lot to me. I've always loved how he switches from "man" to "woman" and back.
i love Queen!!! Epic and one of the absolute greatest ever!!! As you said, it can be only one!
Queen's music takes you on a journey every single time.
Just for pure joy.and enthusiasm Britain got Talent has an elementary school called flakefleet and they do a cover this song. I never knew where the song came from. It's just purely enjoyable. I don't know if you can get it up on CZcams but just watch it for your own enjoyment. I think you'll really like it. I think Freddy would really like what these children did with his song. Pure joy and enthusiasm
There was and will only ever be ONE Queen.
lol I almost died laughing when you said "there can be only one", the most well known line from the movie highlander, which queen did the soundtrack for!
This song starts and doesn't stop for a second - it takes you on a journey
Ohhh Freddy Mercury era maravilloso,un amante de los gatos como yo,con un talento inigualable y estĂĄ canciĂłn me hace sentir muy bien en mi trabajo cuando estoy aburrida...
HE IS UNIQUE, NO ONE CAN REPLACE HIS VOICE AND PERFORMANCE.
QUEEN TRIED MANY GENDERS SUCCESFULLY. THAT IS WHY THEY ARE POPULAR IN ALL CORNERS OF THE WORLD.
You know what's great? People, guys, requesting AMAZING songs of various style but always good song! Master of Puppets, Tenesee whiskey, South of Heaven, Arials, and so forth...
You should look at One Vision, Roger wrote it about Martin Luther King. Queen opened all the shows of the Magic Tour with it.
You should check out barcelona with freddie mercury and montserrat caballe... you see the range and the power of his voice ... im new here ... love watching
This song was voted thr most happy song of all time!
Top that ,so bloody good , Queen and Freddy perfection !!!
I can listen to that Ha-da-da outro all night. You should check out the studio version of Play The Game. Freddie kills it.
Studio version with delicate falsettos, live version with powerful belting. Very different, I love both.
If you haven't seen Bohemian Rhapsody yet, I recommend it. It leads you into the back story of some of the iconic songs and you get to understand the entire band & how talented they all are. The world will never ever get a band like this ever again!
Itâs like cheating on Freddie and John.
Sincerely, Terry McCabe Fogarty, Original Fat Bottom Girl from Old HB NYC!
That's in my top 5 of favorite Queen songs.
Another world leading British đŹđ§ band. #DifferentClass
Such an inspiring song...... always lifts my spirits. Love you Freddie....you were indeed a one off.
Great reaction btw
They are amazing. Watch live performances you will love it â€â€
Freddie was a genius and I miss him so much.đâ€đ
Try âI want to break freeâ....
Loving your reactions fella. I've been a queen fan since the age of 12 over here in the UK, that'll be 50 years, Wow!........They made some amazing songs of different emotions but for me they saved their best till last. "Mother Love" was the last song Freddie sang before his passing & always brings a tear to my eye. He never returned to finish the song so Brian May had to sing the last verse. I know you are busy with the requests you receive but if you get chance, please check out this song............Oh & bring some tissues. Thank you.
Wow you said there can be only one and ironically Queen did the soundtrack for Highlander which is a film that's know for it's famous quote of "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE" fun fact
This song was voted the happiest song ever!
That song is pure joy!
You would enjoy Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe, she was an opera they did a whole album together - Barcelona, Golden Boy are very good places to start but I love all of Freddie's solo albums too, a real range of vocals.
You definitely need to check out Freddie Mercury & Montserrat Caballe - Barcelona. That man was hanginâ with an opera singer! She was very impressed by his skills.
Vocals matching instrumentals. That's pitch and musicality.
