+martin joseph I believe it my buddy had a stock 2007 ram 2500 Cummins pulled my day semi with load over 73'000 pounds all together pulled it 15 miles with ease me and my bro had to do some illegal shit by stopping traffic and blocking traffic so he was able to make turns but we managed
My old crappy S10 pulled a 1997 F350 with an 8ft plow and dump insert out of a snow bank sideways with ease. Pretty sure this pig could do a lot more

I believe it comes stock without chrome (which I think looks better) or cloth seats, which I think is GREAT because when you have dogs and kids vinyl is perfect if you really want a 'work truck'! Also Ram is like the only full size truck for us manual people so we can still have a real manual tranny. I've noticed some rams have a knob on the dash instead of a direct floor shift for the transfer case as well, something I personally would avoid. Overall a very cool truck!
I wish they would have put some padding on those arm rests. Personally I find them a bit hard on the elbow... but the stereo, at least in mine, is actually very good for being a base trim level. I genuinely was was expecting to not love that part, but it sounds very good.

If you want my opinion, it makes little difference. I live in Michigan and use 4wd a lot so I would go for the electronic for the extra convenience but if you plan to use 4wd infrequently I would save the money by going for a manual lever.
Whats the price tag? My jeep has been paid off and is becoming less and less on road usable and I was looking at getting a truck to tow it with and have as a work/daily driver.

+Chibu G Yes. The RAM 2500 has a "straight" or "beam" axle which has two shafts that distribute power to the wheels in 4wheel drive vs just free spinning in two wheel drive.

and when you turn the key you have to turn it to run for the diesel glow plugs to warm up before starting. then its only 800lbs of torque. Which that beats ford and chevy. I really like my new ram 2500

900 pound feet of torque is only available on the 3500 with the Aisin transmission. Also I still use the red cap for my filler neck. Believe it or not the way that Ram has itset up it's a horrible design dirt gets in way to easy. They have great aftermarket caps for these trucks buying one next week. Overall good review!

I have the same truck that I just bought and the towing compacity is 17980 lbs and it says it in the manual.

BRO that truck was so beautiful. I'd give my left nut, my good ear, my kidney for that.
Only visuals i'd change would be :
1 ) roll pad rear bumper
2 ) brush guard and chrome delete on front
3 ) the largest tire without rubbing
4 ) smoked out lights front and back
that would make this truck my ultimate dream truck.
If you bought the base model, it would come with black plastic instead of chrome, and you would save money.
+Mel Laknanurak definitely would save some bucks, but black ones are steel bumpers. I plan on color matching mine.

they look nice, but I have had a lot of trouble with mine! It isn't a real diesel, a car engine that burns diesel. A real diesel has sleeves, and at least 743 cu. in.
What sorta issues? And you talking sleeves in the cylinders?
+B A real diesel has sleeves! That is nothing more than a piece of s--t car engine that burns diesel. The DEF and electronics seem to be the biggest problem. I lost the turbo in it at 14K miles, etc etc, JUNK!!!
