There's watch reviews, expert reactions, top 10 lists, the best and worst of the industry and a whole bunch of memes, too. This is an example of why you want an actual wordsmith doing watch reviews.
Three Yesses man. I´m German and my English is not really close to be flawless, but I love to listen to this linguistic acrobat. He´s doing a great show. TY Andrew. BTW Your Mugs are too ugly to buy. I would support you and buy one. Please do them at 30% level of your movies and I will buy one ;)
@@ctlightrides7544 Here's a free English lesson to confuse and frustrate you. In American English, one of the meanings of "mug" is face. So saying "Your Mugs are too ugly...." is a terrible thing to say.
On the other hand, Andrew is a nice English boy and I don't think Brits use it just the same way. Someone may correct me if I'm wrong.
@@gotshpilkes😂😂 You beat Me to it! "Your Mug is Ugly" ..😢
@@gotshpilkesYou ARE right, but I do think that is a OLD English thing that worked its way over to you guys tbh.. Maybez???
@@gotshpilkesOh yes, TY, neither confused nor frustrated, more thankful. Who would judge the beak of a watch morning lark? Certainly not me ;)
Casio - the kid you paid no attention to because they were in the computer club and were way too geeky. But then he got married and punched out two really bizarre kids. One turned into a pop fashion designer that all the blokes were into. The other was a suped-up hero who earned a badass reputation in the military and still looks like they could survive a nuclear war.
God tier, baaaam!
Casio is on the another level that not deserve to put in this list.
Casio, he’s the friend you take with when you crave eating cheap fast food, taking a bus ride and go to the odd sports event. He runs a small business and when you visit his humble home, you realise his wealth doesn’t lie in the massive sales figures but in the people he serves and the community he has built!! God tier!! 😄
He can also be a friend during fine dining, on a flight journey in first class since he’s available from $10 to $1000+
Only a few minutes on and you’ve already made me laugh out loud multiple times. S tier stuff here Andrew. Keep up the awesome work.
Same! Andrew's wit elevates the already excellent content.
I got quite emotional during your take on Seiko. You pretty much summed up a real life problem while describing the qualities of the brand haha 😅
Grand Seiko, the Asian cousin that never failed at anything. At school always aces way through it. However, spent most of his career in a sterile laboratory 😂
Yeah, I want a GS but can’t do it because they’re soulless
Yeah definitely! Yet he makes more money then you and fuxks hotter girls than you😂
On CZcams I think “Oh wow”, see them in the boutique and they just leave me totally flat.
@@richardf7223
Exactly my thought. An interesting dial in a presage case. Who is Seiko trying to kid. Their prospex and 5 range has many times more personality
@@willburrows8834 yes! I had the same experience
Absolutely love it ! Combined both of two of your known strengths ... great story telling and watch knowledge ... S tier !!!
VC - my pesonal fav watch maker - The quiet, sharply dressed man sitting in the dark corner of the jazz bar. The Mike Tyson of watches, sleeping giant you don't want to fuck with. Deadly in his prime.
Loved the persona of each watch brand. You made this ranking very fun. Thanks for the entertainment!
Casio. Go anywhere, do anything for all occasions at great prices. S-tier.
Unfortunately not in his universe !
Andrew Morgan: S tier. Truly brilliant writing. And nearly made me spit my drink once or twice. Freaking hilarious.
For those like me who don't get it, what does S tier mean? Ta in advance
Once of the best watch channel … what a creative way of putting a spin on watches … great work
Great entertaining video Andrew. Fair play on bringing a unique, fun and refreshing approach. Keep up the good work.
Great effort making up scenarios/stories for each brand. Thank you❤
"Glashutte Original can't shake the impression that they grew up poor and, though successful now, still brings a sandwich to staff lunches." Love it! Comedy gold. And as an IWC, don't you dare rearrange my desk!
OMG 😂😂 I wish I could have done this differently or better than you, Andrew. But No. You absolutely nailed it 👌
Most accurate rating I’ve ever seen. Although Nomos was excluded. Nomos is always on time, and mom always cuts the crust off his sandwiches. He doesn’t yell about being the coolest kid in class, because he knows he already is.
‘A’ tier……ok maybe B.
Perhaps the exclusion IS the ranking as they seem to try to be "overlookable".
@@youtubecensors5419 interesting take.
This is bloody hilarious. Especially the one-liners! ❤❤❤
First time I’ve watched one of this “rankings” and didn’t care where each brand went.
I just wanted to know“who” wich brand was!
Great writing!
I eschewed Seikos as being so pedestrian but I have six of them, more than all the other brands in my collection put together.
When you figure in the movements. They outnumber everything else combined
Christopher Ward is the new guy who turns up in lower six form. He’s moved in from out of town and wears a different fashion to you and your friends. You and your mates don’t like him but he’s great craic, all the girls fancy him and it turns out he’s a great football player. He throws a party at his parents house and it’s the best party you’ve ever been to, you even have a spliff with his mum and dad who are the coolest parents you’ve ever met. By upper six form he’s your best friend but after A levels he gets a surf sponsorship in California and you never see him again…..10 years later you find out he slept with your girlfriend behind your back, when you ask “which one?” The answer is “all of them “.
Epic!
Absolutely superb Andrew, just laughed my head off
This video is GOLD
This is amazing - well done!
Amazing description and lovely voice and story telling.. keep up the good work Andrew.. we love your voice and channel..
Simply genius! Andrew, you should write a play about watches. Incredible.....
“Either way, he’s a snitch”…😂😂..side note, I’m so IWC…wearing an IWC. Great vid A!
While I was watching the ‘tiering’ of the brands I hadn’t heard of, my 20 or so Casios were asking “Are we in another universe?”
Seiko should be above all others just because it is very humble which the rich or the pauper can equally emotionally attach with
What a creative way for a ranking. Bravo 👏
Very funny Andrew. Nice little story for each of the brands. Maybe one of your best videos? Bit harsh with Breguet though🤔
I think Vacheron had some awesome releases this year that people just slept on 🤷🏾♂️
Vacheron is undoubtedly S tier, anyone that doesn’t appreciate their watches I sincerely doubt their taste. Oversea and American 1921 is divine.
I love this segment of content 😂😂 very clever and witty on a side note i love the hoodie too but let it rest for a while😂😂. Btw love the channel keep giving creative ways then the other watch channels.
Omega -they drive a mini van sooooo funny 😆
Love the humor! Subjective ranking system, but lots of fun trying to guess where you put a brand! 🥳😆😃
Wonderful writing. Such fun. Many enjoyment. Thank you.
I had more fun watching this than I had the Las Vegas Gran Prix. No kiddin
Great chapter! Duly pictured the present state of the Swiss brands and their world renowned competitors' market this year. Hopefully there are literally thousands other various options for watch enthusiasts and it is great!
I totally agree on Panerai. They are on the verge of "what do we do now?". I do believe that a refresh is almost inevitable, but on the other side I hope they'll stick the their roots and keep the "classic line" going. Maybe some new models to put along the historic ones?
You gave Zenith a raw deal there. They're at least A tier for what they've done for chronography. :)
Plenty of brands have done amazing things once in the past…
😂Absolutely Hilarious! Well done Andrew.
Great way to start the week since two thirds of my collection are Seikos. Excellent roast through brand personification 😂
Casio. The friend you have since first grade. You grew up together and after graduation you might have not talked to him for years, doing your own thing, when you do meet up it's all smiles and hugs. S Tier
That’s how I’m consoling my 20 or so Casios (whose number is growing by the day!)
Probably the best video you've done, and I like all of your content!
Possibly the best commentary on a watch video, ever! Nice work 😂
Absolutely brilliant ! Best Tier List ever !
You didn’t invent the tier rankings but you definitely perfected it. Well done and thanks for the laughs
Super fun twist on the tier list concept! Love it
Need a part II this is sooo good!!
Seiko and Rolex, are true friends indeed. I have 6 Seikos and 7 Rolexes, I wear my Seiko when I need to do the hard job, and wear Rolex when I receive the trophy.
“When I receive the trophy” give it a rest mate
@@thegorn Rolex will wake you up and say “wear me, I want you to win more.”

@@ALL-il1sw well I am bullshitting, you can ignore me or agitated by my comments, it’s your choice
Creative and thoughtful work. And I am glad you omitted the following from the party: Casio, Christopher Ward, Citizen and Oris.
I avoided watching this - yet another watch brand ranking video - for awhile. I should have known otherwise: only Andrew could have brought such freshness and wit. Yet another brilliant video from the Talking Hands channel.
This was great. Refreshing way to rank❤
I cried at the Seiko story! Great job!
Ulysse Nardin was that bloke in the classroom who spent his time doodling and making jigsaw puzzles. When he passed away, he ended up being covered in concrete and sculptured into an effigy of the Buddha.
Totally agree with Seiko, ubiquitous and reliable yet don’t get the credit they deserve. Disappointed Breguet only a C and where is Oris who is that independent sort who goes his own way whilst wearing his heart on his sleeve 😢
Seiko gets tons and tons of credit. Everyone's darling brand. Even when they sell watches at more than $3,000 that are loosely regulated.
@@johnnyguitar6697 while true, you can relatively easy regulate your watch... however, you cannot simply "regulate" the dials, and I think that we can agree that they have some stunning dials for the price range where they are selling...
Big fan from Cebu Philippines!
Haha I really loved Breguet, Seiko and Rolex 😂😂 this was so much fun!
Andrew, cool work. I wonder just how many hours of work you put in to create this magical mix of horology and words, of which you are master of both. I also imagine there is a lot more going on with you, but for that, we will have to wait patiently. Thank you So much.
Andrew you nailed it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
No idea why this all made so much sense!
This video is spot on - and hilarious. Well done sir😃
Simply superb - and dare I say spot on. The best bits were the roasts about the holding companies...er....parents.
That was refreshing! I now have faces from school or work for each watch hahaha
Great list! Enjoyed the video.
Thank you!!! This is hilarious 😂
PP inbreeding got me laughing loud 😂
Swatch x's Moonswatch / Blancpain: Regularly arrange to meet up at Weatherspoon's, but for some reason they never make it. To frightened to tell you that the mechanism failed and they turned up 4 and a half hours late, after the pub had already shut.
The Seiko segment was class and so true.
Yeah this is great 😂 very funny, very entertaining.. the take on Breitling was a favourite
Nomos, the Bauhaus architect you wish your child would date:
Beautiful face, simple yet elegant, writes witty texts, won't rob your savings account.
A tier
This is gold... IWC and GS killed me
This is just plain brilliant. Kudos
Pure class 😂. Awesome video.
You got Tudor right on the money, well done 😂👌🏼. I own one btw love it to death
Great video. Disagreed with Blancpain though. I have the 2023 BP Bathyscape Calendar Compet Moonphase. I own many other brands and my BP is by far the highest horology quality of my collection. (Avatar included) Of course, It did help I got 20% off RRP on my brand new Bathyscape model from my AD. 😉 Cheers!
Always tread in dog poop ... 🤣😂🤣👏 . BTW - Panerai also is rocking some sweet acid wash jeans.
Brilliant. Bravo 👏🏼! Couldn’t stop laughing, mate. What a great idea 👌🏻.
Much respect for treating Seiko as they deserve🙏🏻
excellent! surprised that nomos wasnt included, but even more surprised how quick the 15 minutes passed watching this video 😊
No way Rolex in S Tier
It is in the minds of most of the world....But not in the minds of watch geeks in the know. I delight in telling the average joe Rolex is a mid tier tool watch and seeing their faces.
@@Brecayou’re at the mid stage of watch appreciation where you’ve learned about other brands and think Rolex is over rated. At some point, you’ll mature and come to realize how good Rolex actually is.
@@cecaju9516 Mid Tier Bruh wake up or just go watch ur cartoons what are you like 12
I would actually rank Tudor higher than Rolex…
@@cecaju9516 Rolex is a robust tool watch, but it is no way in S Tier, they have no innovation, they bought a watch manufacturer and a bracelet manufacturer, they are no means a watch maker, also its retail is priced high, no way it is worth in grey market
Purrrrfection thanks for the labor, this is epic
For Tag Heuer: the guy that was never good at anything except cars. Fixing and always working in his garage. Made a name for himself racing his cars. With his reputation in the motor sport world he made it to a racing movie once, next to a racing star. The Great McQueen. People respected him and called him after his last name Heuer. Fame got the best of him. Made a mistake too young, he got married soon, wife and kids changed his life, to a boring suburban one. From the famous Heuer of the car garage to the pathetic Tag, his firs name. From muscle shirts in the garage to boring pullovers, from racing chronographs to connected Chinese tablets. Secretly everyone is cheering for him to throw all in the bin and be his old self again. Heuer.
Amazingly written, kudos!
Absolutely Brilliant. What a mind ! little bit scary maybe but excellent all the same. Love love the channel. THANK YOU
Epic and Seiko on S tier🎉🎉🎉 I know secretly you snuck Casio there too 😂
Great idea! Super funny! Merry Christmas!
No wonder I like Omega so much. You just described me!
Does S tier stand for shit or special ?
Apparently both. SSS. Special, Shit, Special. In that order.
Brilliant Andrew. You should write a book.
Tag Heuer D? Have you ever been involved with watches in your life?
It's his opinion. I have a Carrera Heuer 01 (non-skeleton) in my current rotation and I like it just as much as my black lacquer dial SMPc. But in the watch community Tag gets a lot of flak.
That was awesome! Worth every second I had to rewind to hear a part I missed each time my granddaughter asked for help with putting a stuffed animal’s head through a ring.
Sir you made my day....
Best vid in 2023.
This makes me feel like I really need to read your book.
S-tier stuff.
Panerai and Breguet both made me genuinely made me LOL. Glad to see Moser in S.
Rolex & tudor need to be C
One of the best watch related videos ever :D
😂 You do have a very vivid imagination my friend! 🤣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Haha this was fantastic. Loving the silly personifications 😂
Edit:
I thought I laughed enough with Hublot, however the comment on Tudor as second in line, always a bridesmaid but never a bride made me roar out in uncontrollable laughter 😂😂😂.
6:11 “E tier” this gave me a cackle. Too funny.
I would have placed Omega in the A Tier, but the Seiko placement more than made up for it. Fun, yet very accurate chart. S Tier watch channel and watch reviewer.
I have never wanted to multi Like a video... I have never wanted to do it so many times. Great work
I think we all feel the same about Seiko and its description. Will never let you down.
Missed Casio btw.
Casio : Gos tier !
