To Andrew I would strongly suggest he take a peek at Ratio watches. I recently, deliberately purchased they're cheapest auto diver for shits n giggles. A few weeks down the track and I remain gobsmacked. For around 125 odd bux (australian) plus taxes through Creation Watches. An absolute bargain for what you get comparative to all other micros out there for the money, hands down. Do yourself a favour ppl if you want the best beater, diver buy the Ratio Freediver. Incredible.

Great video, some of these details i couldn't find no matter how much i searched. People are giving Rolex too much credit, another Rolex marketing scheme is that rolex popularized the wrist watch for men without even considering that during WW1 and WW2 the pocket watch was impractical and the trench watch took it's place not due to fashion or marketing but necessity.

A degree is almost worthless now so you shouldn't worry about that. Like a lot of people, I suppose, I can never seem to be satisfied and was constantly looking for the next best thing. That was until I sat down and took a look at how much money I had flushed down the toilet. I reminded myself it's just stuff and I can't take it with me once I'm gone. I kept one great timepiece that IMO can do it all and am much happier now. I also have a much bigger savings account and love watching it grow. Peace

In 2000 I was new watch hunting that and the IWC Portugieser was on my short list. It made it to the semi final. Iirc It was msrp £3,195 which was about the same as the concurrent Daytona with the Zenith el Primero movement. Back then the Daytona was the only Rolex you couldn’t walk into a dealer and buy. The rest you could get 9% off. How times change. I went in another direction altogether but still love the Portugieser Chronograph.
