Mr. Morgan knows we are very dorky and detail oriented, so he throws in very obscure and random references that force us to Google embarrassing terms (“meaning of monkey in England”) and add wrinkles to the grey matter in the cranium. But he did not nail the logo. He needs to name the brand hack. Hacker has such a bad connotation that he will never be able to scale his brand beyond the watch community.

Got my new Seiko’s stainless “Field Sports Style” SSK023 band adjusted today. Looked great after lunch, as I put 100 full metal jacket rounds down range. Now need to find my KBar to throw into my Filson canvas briefcase

I absolutely agree Russell deserves the love. But the watch certainly does not. Screw down manual wind crown? That WR100 in that font on the watch face - really? And the lume is not good...at all. Not a good effort.

To me affordable means like 150 and under, not 2,750 francs (over 3k US) I get that everyone’s idea of “affordable” is different, but more than the average mortgage payment for a watch is a bit silly to say it’s affordable in this economy 😂

I tried on the bog standard version of Bulova's Moon Watch before Christmas. It's genuinely a very handsome watch but, even with my 8 1/2 inch wrist, I found it basically unwearable because the lugs stick straight out. This makes it wear much larger than it is and, sadly, it didn't look good on me as a result. I think you'd really need absolutely massive wrists to pull it off.

I’ve tried on the Blancpain swatch watch and own 3 omega moonswatches, let me tell you, the Omegas are better. I literally went to buy the Blancpain and after seeing it in person I declined.

No watch has yet been to the moon....more likely an old aeroplane hangar in the Nevada desert.....
