When he said he was told that the watch was 400 years old I knew for a fact that that person was lying to him, I’ve see many watches from every century so I know the look of the movement and styles of the watch, you don’t have to be an expert to do research and seeing similar examples of watches online from the 1600s first before believing it was 400 years old, when I seen this watch I guessed the mid to late 1800s.
