I have a Huben. 25 caliber. The most important thing when loading pellets into the gun is to 'SEAT' YOUR PELLETS. Kelly at Krazykool has a video on this. I used to get jams frequently and would have to take the Huben apart. Now, i take a pen and push the pellet deeper into the magazine. That way, the pellet catches the rifling in the magazine. I have not had a jam in 3 months after "seating" my pellets. Look for the video of Kelly at Krazykool where he shows how to load and "seat" the pellets properly before shooting. BTW i love my Huben!
Absolutely correct and good info. Kelly at Krazcool is without a doubt the no#1 go-to individual for ANYTHING Huben. He knows his business and he is a darn good fella also, he is my home boy lol, and since I got my GK1 pistol I now have a. 25 K1 on the way. They are pricey but for the money you can't beat it.
This is my ultimate favorite pcp that caused me to neglect all my others. When I first got it I loaded up all happy and shot 1 magazine, loaded up again and forgot the lever up 😄 and you know what happened. The loading flip reminds me to lower it now and it never happened again. Now I'm waiting for my wolfiek carbon stock to arrive which will cut 600g off its weight should arrive this week! Thanks for your review of this awesome rifle. 👌
@meaghancote-mcauley79 it's not cheap at about 1k usd but I think it's worth it. However the rifle recoil is more evident and requires a firmer grip for accuracy than the original.
Hello Steve. I watch this video weekly. I did the same thing with the loading lever, but my Huben did not jam --- I was fortunate. I tend to stay with one pellet type, or slug, depending on results with target-punching. IMHO, every rifle is rather monogamous regarding what it prefers to shoot and at what velocity, which when found, I advise everyone to remain with that combination for best results in accuracy and precision. As the adage advises in vernacular: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Best to you. Thank you again.

Kelly at KRAZ Cool AG is the BEST!!! I use your .253 46 grain in .25 & .2193 34 grain in .22 dish slugs & nothings safe out to 150 yards! Your quality control is amazing... I've order over 1500 slugs in each size and have never had to re-tune either rifle. Thx :)
I don't have one but tom does you know tom and I shot his straight out of the box inch and a half group at ninety yards. Then I put some of your AVS logs that he bought from you and oh my God. The results are spectacular.
I own a 2022 model and I love it for hunting. I had a neighbor that was having issues with a raccoon invading his bird feeder and causing damage. He gave me permission to take out the raccoon, from where I was at it was about over a hundred yards. With a 33 grain slug I was able to take out the raccoon right there without it even scurrying away. I mainly use it to go squirrel hunting on a lower tune to save on air and to hunt more quietly. The only thing I wish HUBEN would do is to make one in 30 caliber and to make it where if the latch is open to trigger will not fire to avoid jamming.

I’m not sure of the length of the Huben although I sold my sk which is like 33” long which I could easily get over 100 fpe , I’m assuming the Huben is probably around that length and I doubt the leshy has anywhere close to the power of the k1 in the same caliber. I don’t think you would go wrong getting one for a truck gun .
Forgot one last comment: I oil my pellets and slugs slightly with Ballistol or CRC pure silicone oil and obtain very good results in accuracy and precision at any distance I shoot - mostly 50 to 150 yards with either my .22 or the .25. I ought to give your slugs a try soon. Thank you again.

Very nice presentation of what you Huben is capable of. Respectible groups for sure and the thing that most of us take for granted is, less than 6 years ago 100 yard shots that were repeatable were just not common, now 100 is the new 50 it seems. Another factor to keep in mind is we are talking semi auto here which again 6 years ago was unheard of. You know how I feel about the Huben and I LOVE my .22's. Both of which I purchased from John @ New England Airguns. Great people there and always willing to help for sure. I think its time to edit my review for the Huben K1 in .22 caliber, it vertainly has been long enough 😄
Hey Haji thank you! Yes, gun is truly amazing. Looking forward to see your review of the .22 I have some slugs for you to try in the Huben 22. BTW the Hajiified Guantlet 2 in 25 is my next video. Going out next week to shoot it long range.
I just bought the Huben k1 25. I've only ran pellets through it, but I've also heard about what you talked about. I make sure the mag spins all the way around, I actually spin it around a few times. What do you recommend for pellets and slugs. I have Zan 253 33.gr slugs. 254 42 gr flats by NEAG. 47 GR Boat tails Fx 34 gr pellets and Jbs pellets 26 gr haven't shot any slugs yet through it, actually only fired it 10 times with the jobs. Haven't even dialed scope in yet.
Hi, I found the gun jam is caused by the slug at the bottom of the mag, the air just kicks the last slug at the bottom of the mag just as it enters the block, I use a pin just to push that bottom slug back into the mag then slide a rod down the barrel to knock the top slug back into the barrel and it unjams the mag every time. It's the bottom slug that causes the jam.
You don't have to take the gun apart, just unwind the regulator and drain the planham, this takes the pressure off the mag and tap the back of the stock, the projectile drops back in the mag, This can happen using undersized slugs in the mag, the k1 prefers .219s if you are using 228, loading every other mag chamber and manually turning the mag will stop any jamming.
@18:47, Why did those Huban Gun Engineers not think to add a Trigger lock tethered to that rotating cylinder lever? Why didn't they just make that whole cylinder like a revolver where it rolls out the side and then you roll it back in.
Hello Steve. Looking to purchase the Huben K1 from Huben directly. Can you share your thoughts on the new lite version vs. the unit you have? Also, do you think 1900 US is cheapest, or could one of the dealers you mentioned do better with pricing? Thanks for you video and I look forward to hearing back from you
I would only, uy the lite version if money is not a concern. If you must have a lite version because you can not physically carry a slightly heavier standard version and MONEY is no issue Go for it. The standard is so clean and light that it was not worth it to me. Also, buying from a US dealer made it easier for me as I had 2 leaks. It was serviced hear jn USA free and fast under the warranty. Hi Steve, HUBEN valve design is nothing new it's just a dump valve design just like the corsman 140 the beeman p17 or the IZH 46m. I am not too far from you maybe we should get together and do some long range airguning some day.
That was one of my concerns when I got the HUBEN K1 for hunting. The gun is not really hard to take apart could be done in less than 5 minutes, then the magazine could be taken out and clean or unjammed if you make a mistake. When I go squirrel hunting, I usually just keep reloading the rotary magazine pellets after a shot or two so I don't accidentally run out, so it works for me, but I know that might not work for everybody.
@@wannabemgtow2540 I get why they did it that way, every slug/pellet will be lined up and seated properly. BUT it is a lil questionable as far as safety. I like a very light trigger. No more going home early
Sounds like an engineering nightmare.
A lead free range ain’t a range I want to be on 🤔
Stopped making videos?
Hi Steve, HUBEN valve design is nothing new it's just a dump valve design just like the corsman 140 the beeman p17 or the IZH 46m. I am not too far from you maybe we should get together and do some long range airguning some day.
please do a crosan 2250 pcp convertion tutorial
i am struggling to do it
Hey man can I have that one
Not being able to take a magazine out scares me I think it's a major safety issue
I made my M3 sooooo light its silly and bc of that I tend to triple check my safety, make 100% sure the mag is out, the block is open, etc.
I have not heard anyone have a problem with the Huben so Im sure the safety is doing its job.
@@joeschmoe8320 Bc this is called a "comment section" do I need to explain why? It is to make COMMENTS about your OPINION!! You do not have to kick ass and agree with everything said in evey video....that makes you a sheep!!
Sounds like you are wasting lots of air.
Yeah, that gun is way too much of a faff, who tf designed that?
16 minutes of talking. Rather boring!
Curious why would someone buy a $2000 airgun?..you can get a damn fine 'real' rifle for that price..
What is your reg set to
You need them slugs flying at 970.
Try reg set to 140 power wheel 46, 31gr
That gun is a lazer
I have a perspex rod marked to the front of the mag, when I get a ham I just knock the slug back into the mag.
Polish that barrel
