    Enjoy watching a master craftsman at work!!
    Side note: As a grandparent it would be great to see cameos of Lux in each video so we can watch him grow. :)

    I like your vids. No overdoing the acting to be extra funny or smart. You just go about the job and show us the best way to do things with minimal equipment. Thatnjs for the great content

    Love big blocks in cars & trucks! Just wish it had been a Mopar engine but, economics being the way they are you gotta use what you got! Could you have found a different oil pan & not pushed it back so far, just wondering?

      @LGKustoms  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I tried looking for different oil pan options, but they only make two styles for a BBC. Rear sump, or full sump.

    I would’ve done the larger piece in one piece and just bent the corners so it had contours. And tried to make it look more factory than anything else. 🤔

    Great video and fab skills. Using them fancy magnetic angle finders and all. Addicting to watch. So u prefer tig these days over mig. ? Look forward to part deux

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  Před 6 měsíci

      Both mig and tig have their place. Tig weld is much cleaner and nicer to work with. It takes a little longer to weld, and the fitment needs to be nice, but the weld clean up from tig is so much faster than mig.

    Nice job Lee but shouldn’t you have made that panel removable so you could get to the transmission bolts and have enough room to remove it 🤔

    • @LGKustoms

      I still have full access to all the bell housing bolts from inside

  • @timferriss905
    @timferriss905 Před 6 měsíci

    Hello Lee. A couple of questions. 1 you made the fire wall on the table so you could have fully welded it but is that just a waste of time. 2 would that bell housing fit a 350 as well as 454 I no the 454 is a bigger lump. Now it’s New Year’s Eve at nine o clock in the morning I would like to wish Shannon baby lux and you Lee a very happy 2024 . Also to Jim and all your families and friends. And to all your subscribers.not forgetting Doris.Cheers Tim.

    • @LGKustoms
      @LGKustoms  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Happy new year!
      I chose to spot weld it over fully welding to save time on welding and grinding. Mainly grinding. It also keeps heat distortion to a minimum.
      And yes, this is the same bellhousing bolt pattern as a 350. Chevrolets are good that way
