    If we have a boat on a lake, what effects can we make, any particles so that it looks cool. In this tutorial, you showed dust effect is used on land

    • @sarkamari
      @sarkamari  Před 2 lety

      It's a completely different effect. For the movement you can use the geometry constraint

    • @sarkamari
      @sarkamari  Před 2 lety +1

      Thank you.
      Unfortunately fluid cannot be rendered with the GPU. You may want to try Bifrost Aero for that.

  • @simonsync7956
    @simonsync7956 Před 2 lety +1

    This does not work for me, at the 10:00 mark where you go Fluid > Add/Edit Contents > Emit from object settings. After applying this then no fluids/particles are coming out of the emitter. Any reason why? My viewport is on show all as well so nothing should be hidden

    • @sarkamari
      @sarkamari  Před 2 lety

      Make sure to select both the container and the object before you apply the tool.
      Also in your viewpoint settings make sure shaded mode is on and the motion blur button is off.

      @@sarkamari Same thing happens (or doesn't) for me as well, Maya 2023.1, select both, viewport shaded, no motion blur and nothing happens. It does, however, work in Maya 2022 when I do it there. Same procedure, not sure what broke in Maya 2023.1

      @@sarkamari Thank you I tried that at first but it didn't seem to work. I delete all of my keys and did it again and got it working! So the Flids stopped emitting them but how do I kill the one currently in the box? I feel like there should a a life time control some where.

    • @rokuken
      @rokuken Před 2 lety

      I don’t know if this will work, but have you tried animating the box? Maybe shrink it overtime or flattening it might work? Just a thought. Can’t try it since I’m currently at work.

    • @sarkamari
      @sarkamari  Před 2 lety

    What exactly do turbulence and volume axis again? Because the vortex effect is already random and big, i even back and forth throught the simulation and saw no difference, please help

    • @sarkamari
      @sarkamari  Před 2 lety

      Volume axis pushes the density in a particular direction whereas turbulence adds chaos to your density. :)

      You need to tweak the Shading rollout to get the desired result. Watch my candle flame tut as I explain a bit more about the approach.

    Sir how to create shadow..?

    • @sarkamari
      @sarkamari  Před rokem

      Not sure what the question is Pardeep. The actual shadow info will get calculated by your lights in the scene. But if you wish to separate the shadow info for compositing it can be achieved via AVOs. Check out my Nuke Series for more info
