I Got a Russian Mouth Massage

  • This week I tried something called a Tibetan face lifting massage, but it’s actually more like a Russian mouth massage. It’s unclear where it originally comes from, and I’ve seen it referred to as a Korean lifting massage and a Japanese lifting massage, but the point is it’s designed to stimulate your mouth so that your face naturally moves upward. Lots of techniques are included that are designed to lift up and sculpt the face. It seems to be quite popular in the Moscow beauty scene, and so I came to NYC’s little Russia neighborhood to try it out. Stick around to the end to see if it actually works! This is somewhat of an ASMR video, so for parts of the video there isn't really much talking.

I help people overcome muscle imbalances which cause pain, and one if the "side effects" is a better looking physique without nessicarly working heavy weights. Whats happening (imo) is muscles that are shorten are relaxed and thus return to their normal state/length. When our joints are allowed to sit appropriately our overly apprearance looks better.
If one chews on one side, smokes, has TMJ, or even sleeps with mouth open, they likely have overactive and shorten muscles that lead to movement behavior changes as well as pain.
Westerners could learn so much from these old practices, typical found in eastern medicine.
      Ounce of prevention and such...
But I guess its hard to sell pills and high dollar procedures if folks simply took care of themselves....

Massage can improve skin health, but it has no proven permanent anti aging effects. The best things you can do to keep skin looking it’s youngest?
      1) factor 50 or stay out of sun
      2) retinoids (sun screen is a must with this product)*
      3) Botox can have some efficacy in delaying the formation of wrinkles
      4) stay hydrated
      5) get enough sleep, and if you can’t make sure your skin is well hydrated

@DSW22 You clearly don't know what West Asian means. West Asian encompasses people from the Caucasus,Turkey,Middle East and Persia.West Asian languages(outside of Turkey and Middle East) are Indo European. You needs to learn geography and history, because if you did, you'd know that Persian,Afghan,Kurdish,Armenian and Tajik are also Indo European languages and they have around 30-40% mutual intelligibility with Slavic languages.
Also Christianity started in West Asia aka Middle East :).... And there's actually Slavs who never migrated to Europe and lived in West Asia since the beginning of time :).
You see,you know nothing because you're from the West and finally, we Eastern people have nothing in common with Western Europeans other than geographical location. We're culturally and genetically more similar with people from West Asia, hence why usually when it comes to intermarriages,it's not uncommon to see a Slavic man with a Georgian woman,Lebanese woman,Persian woman or Ossetian woman.

My chiropractor massages my mouth but only the cheeks. Stress makes my face muscles tense and the massages helps with it. Constant tension can and will change how your face looks on the long run. After a massage, I feel lees tension next to my eye and down next to my cheek. I do it myself sometimes, when I feel lines of tensed muscles in my mouth, but I never tried the lips. We tend to forget that all muscles are working and the mouth works a lot and we usually don't take care of it as we care of other muscles like the ones in the back.
