Just want to correct Luke, but there's a vast majority of knowledge in several classical languages, of which Sanskrit is certainly one of them and one of the oldest recorded, stretching to 1500 BCE, preceding the established oldest record of Classical Chinese and definitely classical Latin and Greek. I also do not know if it is a verified fact that 'most/all of the knowledge' is recorded in Latin, because again, the corpus of Sanskrit is massive. I think he may refer to the 'modern-day' knowledge or disciplines, such as medicine and the likes relating to the Ancient Roman world, but even so. In Sanskrit much has also perished over time and due to the Indian subcontinent climate, but still some things have been retraced to their Sanskrit origin due to preserved translations (i.e. the Buddhist sutras are well recorded in Tibetan, all stemming from Sanskrit, and includes translations of other yogic traditions too) or due to Sanskrit being the longest and best recorded oral transmission, from 1500 BCE to this day. I understand his fascination and appreciation lies with Latin, but surprised how overlooked Sanskrit was in his conscious make-up of the ancient world and the sources of knowledge.

Please don't say that it is the Dutch who know how to speak multiple languages. They would only know English and maybe German. In Flanders we learn 4 languages (Dutch, French, English and German) in school and most of us go on learning some more (Spanish, Italian, Swedish etc).

Lived in NY from the time I was born through 23 years of age (1988-2011). I visited every year after I moved to FL (now reside in NC). It is tragic what they’ve done to Manhattan and criminal what they’ve done to the boroughs.

A few days ago I went to the gas station and there was a man Naruto running across the sidewalk to the front doors having an argument with an imaginary person in an episode caused by schizophrenia or drugs and I noticed a knife on him. I had my baby with me. This is very common. Many mentally ill and drugged out people begging out front of stores and often in stats of psychosis. Poverty, drug abuse, and lack of resources, like proper sobering institutions. The same Democrats that claim we should have more social programs were the ones who voted out psych wards and public rehabs around the time of Reagan because housing people who are a danger to themselves "against their will" is supposedly unethical even though we do it to other members of society like suicidal teens. No, we're going to shell billions to house them in random apartments with no treatment to underlying conditions, as if they won't return to homelessness or terrorize the neighborhoods they're placed in. Both my husband and I have homeless relatives, and they often chose to go back to it no matter how we house them because they feel they cannot function in society. So many deep issues blue states ignore and make giving out housing their campaign. They often buy bus tickets and ship them to impoverished red states that can't help them, leaving them stranded. It's incredible how evil these politicians are.
