What dumbasses were asking why she jumped into a foam pit. IT'S A FOAM PIT! That's why
where's the foam? Even from the camera's angle you can clearly see foam shapes the size of regular pillows that are not even overlapping. Did she think it was safe just because it was someone else's job to check? If the foam pit was 3ft deep with overlapping pieces then ok. I would be shocked if I got hurt too but dont expect to drop ass first on a piece of foam from 6ft high and think you are gonna walk from it unharmed. It common sense.

First of all, it was absolutely NOT her fault. Any lawyer worth their salt can wipe their ass with that waiver, and will.
Foam pits are REQUIRED to be several feet deep and PADDED, otherwise it's gross negligence. This pit had no proper spacing and no padding and was a measly two to three feet deep.
What makes it even worse is that the twitch medical staff MOVED HER. If you have any knowledge about handling spinal injuries, you NEVER MOVE THE PATIENT. They only stopped when an off-duty EMT made them.
Twitch is fully at fault here, especially since she had to undergo intensive surgery and PT to even start recovering.

Its a foam pit the whole point of it is so its safe to jump in. Some people really need to learn stuff before they comment. How can anyone blame her for jumping in to something thats literally designed to be jumped in. The fault was the fact the foam pit was to shallow. If the foam pit was deeper she would of been ok. People legit land upside down on their head in foam pits and are fine. When they are deep they are safe this 1 was way to shallow. A rookie mistake for such a big rich company. Clearly didnt put enough effort into making sure it was safe.
Well first off, they hate her because she does corn, that’s the gist of it. Second of, they’ve convinced themselves it’s a matter of “stupidity” and they think themselves as “not stupid” even though all of them would have probably done something similar in that situation. They make themselves feel good by projecting themselves onto the situation and thinking “yeah *I* would have never done that, so clearly it is HER fault!” and if there is already a lack of sympathy because of her line of work and the hatred that they feel towards someone they find attractive but can’t have, then it’s easy for them to rationalize and blame her for what happened. It literally all boils down to humans having small predictable little brains that love a good ego stroking sprinkled with some of that culturally pervasive misogyny.

A couple of people got hurt in this same foam pit. Just watched a video of another shallow foam pit and looks like the lady possibly got hurt. Foam pits should be several feet deep or you shouldn't let people in them.

Those foam pits should be packed with those blocks, not less so if you jump on them they have space to move out to the sides. And they surely should have saftey mats on the floor or ruber flooring. If thst had been a child it could have caused injuries that may have been fatal. Very unfortunate and sad what happened, she has basicly powerdriven the base of her spine through the blocks straight to the floor. She could of been saved if they had decent saftey matts with a memory foam type layer. It would even cost that much to do considering how much money some of these places make.
