Honestly they aren't teens and that's what terrifies me. I used to be a casual fan of things and decided to browse/interact with people in these fandoms. I was immediately traumatized. These are 21+ year old childish monsters. Messed up sense of socializing and they acted as if they knew these celebrities.

To many people, spending way too much time online or following celebrities and not being part of the real world. It's so weird to obsess over someone's life and choices.

I do push back against the take that she wouldn’t be absolutely nowhere without fan support. That’s just objective reality. Every famous person on the planet would be nowhere without the support of the public that consumes their media. Especially musicians.
They’d be a regular person like the rest of us, and likely worse off given they applied their efforts into developing skills that aren’t necessarily practical.
I know that her fans were hurt…but I support her calling them out. Jokes aside, we should be able to love and appreciate an artist’s work without attaching our entire selves to them. It’s unhealthy for everyone involved.

It has never happened to me and I've been in 5 long-term relationships. I'm still friends with all my exes and never "hated" them. It isn't a natural law to have bad break ups even though many friends and acquaintances seem to think so.

Nice assumptions there, dumbo. I've been in relationships since I was 14 and now I'm 34. Life happens to everyone and I've had a very eventful life. Moreover, there is never a set "goal" with relationships. It is about being happy with the right person which can mean very different things. Whoever told you that it should last forever did you a seriously fucked up disfavor. Who you are at 18 is completely different from who you are at 25 or 30. If the person does not develop alongside you, there will develop a lot of friction in-between if you try to stick together, no matter what. In fact, I'd rather say that the fact that I still have a healthy relationship with every single one of my exes show that I was not "terrible". And neither were my partners, because I chose carefully who to be with.
When you look at the one tweet of "I don't love my fans" it can seem a bit harsh, but once you see it in the context of the entire situation it's completely necessary.
Basically she’s just sorting out her fans. She removed insensitive toxic fans with that one tweet and those who did not clicked the unfollow button are the mature and understanding fans that are anchored on the reality of life and relationships. 😂 Well played to Doja I say. 👏

I cringe at the type of person I was in highschool and college. If I were to be classified and treated like the person I was 20 years ago, it would be crushing to my moral and detrimental to all the growth I’ve made to better myself and my relationships.
