KLICKITAT RIVER : Rowing School 4K

For two days I take off to try my hand at rowing White Water rafts! Zoller’s Outdoor Odyssey’s put on their first ever white water rowing clinic, and I jumped at the opportunity to be the first girl. Learning to row white water has been on my list for so long. And while I had a few trips under my belt, this was my first official white water class. So you could say Im a beginner.. although I prefer novice.
Zoller’s is a 3rd generation, family owned and operated outfitter operating on the White Salmon (Washington State) river since 1973. And frankly speaking, they are the best out here. And that’s because they are doing what they love. Guiding white water river trips!
Day 1 we meet the team and spend the day learning to maneuver boats down the lower section of the Klickitat river here in Washington.
Day 2 we test our new skills and take on some real rapids at high flow, in the upper section of the Klicktat river.
It was beautiful, fun, wet & wild! Zoller’s makes learning a blast!
