Simon should be paying the word 'notwithstanding' royalties at this point....

Klopp was amazing as liverpool manager and we forget what he took over. Liverpool were a shambles, hodsgson , Dalglish, rogers. This man took liverpool to 3 ucl finals. To put that in context, wenger only made 1 ucl final, sir alex only made 4 in 18 yrs. Klopp won every trophy possible besides the europa league. He has competed against man city who have much greater resources, he has upstaged chelsea who have spent fortunes, man u the same. Klopp is a legend and Liverpool and the epl will miss him greatly. Never bought ready made superstars, he made them good players great

To look at where Liverpool were, Klopp has brought in so much more than trophies. He given a lift to everything Liverpool FC, he's breathed new life into each corner of the club. Oh and hes won every topflight trophy going as well winning CL before City, all on a mediocre budget in relation to the clubs size and stature.
The guy need to be applauded for getting anywhere near city. He'll be remembered as an Anfield great for sure!
UTD FAN HERE SO IVE NO TIME FOR KLOPP BUT IN ANY OTHER SEASONS HE WOULD HAVE WON 2 OTHER TITLES WITH OVER 90 POINTS AND YOU MUST RESPECT THAT
As Simon loves context, letâs remember this. As it stands, Klopp is the only manager to win a league title against a Pep Guardiola managed Man City, a team with endless resources and allegations of cheating off the pitch.
This season has seen a drop off, but the two other times Liverpool finished second there was no âbottlingâ. In 2019 Liverpool ended the season with 97 points, a total that would have won the league in any of Wengerâs or Fergieâs title winning seasons. Liverpool won every game in the run in. Unfortunately so did City and they were a point ahead.
Could and should Klopp have won more? Yes, possibly. But considering he is the only manager that has consistently challenged Pep and no one else has done it yet, maybe that tells you it isnât an easy feat.
Wrong. Antonio Conte won the premier League against Guardiola

I love Klopp and heÂŽs been inspirational for Liverpool. Under JĂŒrgen Klopp Liverpool have won everything there is to win, but - reminiscent of his time at Dortmund, against Bayern - they have never been dominant for any length of time against City. Unlike City - or Liverpool of the 80s - there has always been a fragility about KloppÂŽs Liverpool. One of the things that made KloppÂŽs Liverpool teams so exciting to watch was watching their seemingly miraculous comebacks. Who can ever forget the CL games against Barcelona, or Dortmund?
Klopp imho is one of the greatest man managers ever, like SAF - but not the greatest tactician, like Pep or even Wenger. Looking back, I was amazed how long it took him to decide that Solanke, Clyne and Lallana were not good enough. Or how long it took him to realise that Gomez was a liability at right-back; or that week-in week-out Trent was being targetted and exposed, before doing anything about it. And, despite having great funds at his disposal, he has made some howlers in the transfer market; the most notable being just last summer when he publicly gave up on Bellingham (who ended up going to Real for 86m?), bemoaning LiverpoolÂŽs lack of resources, and then Liverpool offered an absolutely crazy 115m just weeks later for Caicedo.
