Nah. Klopp is just a media darling. Dude literally finish outside of top 4 last season with 0 trophy, what is legendary about that. U need to remember he did that with the team that he build. He should be ashamed and tell the media to stop hyping him esp when he is leaving lfc on a low.. This convo wont even happen if he won 2 pl title.. For real i never heard abybody let alone man utd fan question fergie or busby status. Heck even mourinho never get this kind of trearment by chelsea fan cos his epl cv is legendary. Glad that lfc fan like mo being honest. Lets hope more lfc fan come forward and tell the world the truth 1 pl title is not enough to be consider a legend. If lfc fan wanna claim he is the greatest lfc manager that ia different. Dont lower the value of the legend status. Esp when he got all the time in the world to win more than 1 pl. Even this season when man city at not their beat he cant win it. Yes there is still a few game to go but i have no problem writing him off.

Virtually nobody mentions it but the biggest loss for Liverpool has been Jota. He’s not only Liverpool’s most ruthless finisher but he’s one of the most efficient finishers in the entire league. The problem for him is he is getting the lower body injury bug that can spiral out of control and gradually destroy promising careers. When fit, he’s Liverpool’s best striker.

This Man City team will be remembered alongside those vintage Liverpool sides of the 70s and 80s, and the United sides of the 90s and 2000s. Klopp is unfortunate to have managed Liverpool in a period of complete domination from City. It's kind of like Mourinho's time in Madrid. Yeah, he only won 3 trophies, but that is more due to the strength of Barcelona at the time rather than Mourinho doing a bad job or something. In almost any other era, Klopp would have 2 more Premier Leagues to his name. I agree though that he is not among the best in English football history. Also important to remember that man city are the only team more successful during Klopp's time and Liverpool pushed them to the wire on two occasions for the league, all while man city were potentially cheating.

Champions league, World club cup , super cup.billion pound may have been spent but his net spend is way lower than most as he had to sell his best players - lost Coutinho, lost wignaldum, lost Mane, lost hendo, lost fabinho, firmino, Milner, has half the budget of the other big teams and club pay way less in players wages up bar Salah and Van Dyk only recently as exceptions...to say he is a flop is just clueless. The fact is he was up against PEP and man city machine...no other manager would have even come close. Any real Liverpool Fan knows Klopp is a legend and one of the all time great managers. @MCFCTheMadHatter Před 22 dny +2

@@drep9028 Regardless, as a City fan, as much I hated LFC and Klopp, I have even more respect for LFC and Klopp. As lovers of football, everyone should appreciate what Klopp & Pep have done since 2018/19 and on. Without Pep, Klopp would not have been able to reach the heights of excellence (regardless of trophy win or not) LFC have attained and with Klopp, Pep would not have either.
On an English footballing historical basis, before the Pep v Klopp era, no team in PL history (perhaps English history too I think) had ever broken the 90-point threshold and NOT have won the title. That happened to Klopp 2x losing by 1=point and the most amazing of it all, is that the season LFC got 97 points and missed out by one (City won with 98) that was the 3rd (now 4th) highest points total in PL and English history. Let that sink in...in the 2018/19 season, Klopp's point total was the 3rd highest points total in English footballing history and it still wasnt enough to win it.
For me, the rivalry btwn City & LFC, Klopp & Pep is so special and unique bc it was a competition of pushing the boundaries of footballing excellence to height never before seen. People can argue the Fergie years of MU and Wenger at Arsenal, but the points totals tell a different story. At the height of Klopp & Pep, dropping more than 16 points over an entire season meant losing the league. That means in order to win, you needed to capture 86% of the total 114 points available which is insane

What an absolute clown Moaning Mo is. Liverpool were losing to FC Ludogorets in the UCL group and weren't even in title contention before Klopp took over. Maybe that one season when the captain slipped over the title, but other than that, Liverpool were, at best, a top 4 team. Klopp has turned that around. He's been in 3 UCL finals, and has lost by a single point to City (who currently have 115 FFP charges) in two PL seasons.
Maybe Mo liked to support a mediocre team which never produced anything real. If you apply his logic, then Stevie G has only ever won 1 'major' trophy which was the CL in 2005. Is Stevie G not a Liverpool legend then? 🤡

Klopp will go down as a Premier League legend mainly for his personality than for his solitary Premier League title. Although I'm not in the camp that discredits the FA Cup, but maybe the Carabao Cup 😄
I understand that City is a ruthless opponent with limitless resources and 115 pending charges; but Sir Alex's United beat Jose's Oil-funded Chelsea to the title when Chelsea were the Manchester City of the time, both in finances and footballing ability.
Wenger beat Sir Alex's United a few times on a shoestring budget, when that United team were the dominant force.
Some managers are clearly elite and more adept at finding a way to consistently win Premier League titles when faced with adversity.
Klopp is a brilliant manager, who will be almost impossible to replace at Liverpool given the unity that he's brought to everyone associated with the club, but I don't think you can simply argue that he should get more praise merely because City win everything, because City weren't the first or only team to dominate the league, but other managers found a way to win more than one Premier League title in similar scenarios.
