Your all looking for Klopp type manager but the reality is thereâs none like him.
I'm just hoping there's a name we ain't thinking off. Because I don't want Jose or tuchel. De zerbi style of play is great, but defensively sometimes a shambles, am I expecting to much Brighton ? Maybe . Our opinion means nothing now, but I would at least want a manager whose won a league somewhere else ( except tuchel or Jose lol their times passed) . Maybe a young manager , I'm baffled why Liverpool don't want amorim.
@@user-gk9yt6gs8t It seems likely someone called Slot will take the job.I am not sure what Edwards is doing !
As a Liverpool fan...when you gonna stop falling for these rumors. Bellingham to Liverpool. Xabi Alonso to Liverpool. There have been countless players that are coming to Liverpool, only to go to Chelsea or City or Madrid. I knew Alonso wasn't coming and I never fell for the Amorim rumors. Now y'all are gonna convince yourselves that you like Tuchel or Jose for the job. Just chill and wait to see what happens and stop getting hooked by rumors.
It's literally their job to do this to be fair
Not exactly a rumors when Liverpool did contact all of them you mentioned above, just admit the bitter truth that all the target above reject your club
âYâallâ lol.
Bellingham was done, FSG (werner) pulled out on the deal, hence Klopp walking.
Part of me is glad that it has been kept private.
Exactly its close to the chest and because media knows nothing they are grasping
Liverpool will get the right person, if you can't trust Michael Edwards then you can't trust anyone at all. The social media age (yes I am aware of the irony of me posting this) is insane for toxicity and laypeople thinking they know better than the professionals.
I just worry that managers like Frank, De Zerbi and Iraola have Brendan Rodgers vibes about them. I think De Zerbi tactically is the better of the 3 but there is something about his aura that just doesn't fit with being a Liverpool manager. I think Iraola is class and has a lot of potential but is a massive gamble this early on, and I think Frank is the most Brendan Rodgers manager out of the 3.
I donât think this person currently exists, but we need another manager who can sit down in his first presser and but a timeline on winning the league (and not be laughed out the room)
For me Thomas frank would be like getting the substitute teacher, not being as smart or good as your normal teacher but could fuck about more and not take thingâs seriously!
After Klopp I want another likable manager. If we got Emery, just imagine - he walks into his first press conference, fancy suit and slick black hair. He sits down with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye, leans forward into the mic and says "Good ebening".
We would instantly fall in love with him.

Proven failure after proven failure? If Tuchel gets past Madrid he'll be the first ever manager to reach a UCL final with 3 different teams. Emery has won 4 Europa Leagues and got to the final with the worst Arsenal side I've ever seen, currently he's got Diaby, Bailly and Watkins in the top 4 when Gerrard has those same players facing relegation.

I'm slightly worried about Liverpool. Something going in at Liverpool. Klopp is leaving because he can't 'keep running on 3 wheels'. Alonso refused the job. Very odd. Ruben Amorim started talking with West Ham. Now Arne WHAT!
Really donât know how you can have since November to sort this and still be scrambling. Real danger we fall to pieces for a couple seasons here
Who said theyâre scrambling? All these rumours coming out are not coming from the club as we donât speak on business before itâs done. If westham are gonna get Amorim itâs definitely not a matter of them getting him over us itâs because we donât want him. If anything itâs evidence of the contrary to âscramblingâ probably means we have a plan and weâre executing it. The club probably wonât announce ANYTHING until after the season finishes and weâve said fair well to klopp
I mean, Klopp said very clearly that the reason they didn't start contacting managers before announced he was leaving was because leaks happen and it creates rumours that derail the teams attention. The targets were Xavi and Ruben Amorim, it's unlikely given the nature of what they knew at the time, that both would say no.

Im a Sporting fan but yall are painting Amorim as a person he truly isnt, this Coach, is a gentleman, he isnt fake, wont speak bullshit like kloop did a few weeks ago, he will make any fan of football whether its in a good or bad time admire him. He doesnt like to talk about referees or one player it self. He talks about the group thats all it is. Group, never him, never a player, the whole team! if we lost he will blame it on the team, if we win he will also blame it on the team. You guys could only be so lucky to get him which in all my honesty hope doesnt happen, cause the way he is helping sporting and its fans built them selfs. Its ridiculous. Xabi is doing an umbeaten season but in amorim first season he won the league unbeatable and only then against a rival, benfica he put academy players that deserved to play due to their performances in the b squad, and that was the reason we lost and we almost turned it around when he sub them. Not to mention that same season benfica injected itself with 120milion euros of players despite their really good team already. This coach won a league with a club that had a 19 year drought and after almost ending due to fans attacking its players and most leaving a couple season back in its first season! And heâs been breaking record left and right with most being over 50 years some in 70! So please i hope u guys dont get them. Would be exactly like Lampard at Chelsea.
Absolutely hate most of these shouts. Emery is an absolute no. Had a chance at Arsenal , completely middling.
Why
Heâs a great tactician but as an actual manager he hasnât proven it at a top club
â@@Do27gg LOL. That's just not true. "At Sevilla, Emery won an unprecedented three consecutive Europa Leagues, and moved to French club Paris Saint-Germain in 2016. There, he won a Ligue 1 title, two Coupe de France titles, two Coupe de la Ligues, and two TrophĂ©e des Champions, which included a domestic quadruple in his second season.[3] After the expiry of his contract, Emery was appointed as head coach of English club Arsenal in 2018, succeeding ArsĂšne Wenger. He finished Europa League runner-up in his first season, before being dismissed in November 2019. He was hired by Villarreal in July 2020, where he won the Europa League in his first season and guided the club to a Champions League semi-final run in the following season. In October 2022, he left Villarreal and returned to the Premier League to manage Aston Villa and guided them to qualification for the UEFA Conference League" Also, he's transformed Aston Villa. No other team beat Arsenal twice, and he also beat Man City. WITH VILLA!! I think Emery is definitely special.
Mate you clearly know nothing about Emery...
@@CheerfulPhoenix Iâve watched his teams for years. I know his ceiling. If the intention is to hire someone for a couple of years while we wait to get Alonso or someone else whoâs ceiling is higherâŠ.so be it. If city get done next season, Iâd ideally not want to be challenging Arsenal with a manager who couldnât make it there. He doesnât have the personality for a club running on passion like Liverpool. I donât want a return to a robotic manager a la Benitez. I like the manager to be a reflection of the fans. So yeah - heâs a decent man and a decent manager. I think we should be aiming higher when replacing the best manager weâve had in 50 years, not a safe pair of hands.
When de zerbi & Brighton defeat ManC on Thursday, Roberto the italian stallion đźwill be odds on favourite. He is also very admired by Klopp.
I donât reckon any of the names speculated since Alonso committed to BL were ever FSG options. My hunch is if Amorim doesnât happen, then FSG are looking at a short term replacement. Tuchel or Jose. And then in years time go for Alonso. If not Alonso, Ancelotti is another possibility once his RM contract winds down. A wild card return for Klopp after a good rest is not inconceivable either.
Is there any mileage in thinking we need an interim manager until we land Alonso??
Completely get he wouldn't want to come straight after Klopp and class that he showing loyalty to BL but next year or two maybe?
My thought process was get Jose for a year or 2 then Alonso comes after. Mourinho was at our last game and I doubt he was there for Fulham

Amorim's got tactical genius but in the last few weeks that I learnt more about him , I kinda started to not vibe with him as a fan , I am not sure he would fit the vibes of Liverpool club. He's got that pride in himself about being the "next big thing". Definitely not as humble as Jurgen I would say.
Conspiracy theory: This all reads that GM/sporting director will have too much control over the team rather than the incoming manager. Back to pre Shankly days, where the manager never picked the team. Maybe why nobody wants to manage Liverpool.
Agree with the mush of managers point
I'm beginning to think there's something amiss in the Liverpool front office that's causing this, starting with Klopp's early exit after signing extension and other top managers saying no. The club's unwillingness to spend money for top talent while expecting the manager to perform miracles with what they have on the roster has become a big issue.
At the moment, nobody knows who the next manager will be.
I have a feeling it is someone who is currently working, waiting till the summer comes, and then the announcement will be made.
Option-1: If Liverpool doesn't get Amorim , they should "go to" Gerrard and ask him to manage the club for next two years until Xabi Alonso is out of contract at Bayer Leverkusen and then get Xabi Alonso. Even if it should come at a cost of two years of Downtime, it will worth the wait .
Option-2: Make Option 1 work somehow.xD
This idea that we need someone who is an up and coming manager is terrible, Klopp was not an up and coming manager. Arsen wenger was probably the last up and coming manager to win the league.
We need Emery, he is world class quality, a proven winner who already has experience taking over from a dynasty, except Klopp is walking away from a far superior team than Wenger did.

He beat klopp in the Europa league final, a final he has won more than any other manager, 4 times he has done it with 2 different teams and beaten bigger clubs in the final like Liverpool and Manchester United.
The only thing that could be considered a failure is his time at Arsenal, a club that did not give him the time he needed. The Arsenal fans are also the worst, most entitled fans in England, they didn't help him either even after he took that shitty team to a Europa league final too.. After he was sacked he went to Villa Real, beat Arsenal in the semi final of the Europa and then Beat United in the final.
Just look at what he is doing with Fking Villa right now, Villa are prob going to be in the Champions league next year, thats crazy, in a season where they have had huge wins over the biggest clubs, and they are still in with a shout of a European trophy while doing it.

Thomas Frank is like if someone who has dementia and hadnât seen Klopp in over 30 years was asked to describe him from memory
Nice one:)
I like De Zerbi, I think you are misjudging him, what the reasons clearly are as why you don't like him on a human level please elaborate. De Zerbi is a footballing man who really gets football and that's exactly what Liverpool need with their squad, he might be more flexible than Amorim. I like De Zerbi and think he's more similar to Klopp than any other manager, I like Amorim too. I just went Trent to be played in a central position and for him to become the base of the team, as well as playing Darwin as an out and out striker which Amorim's 343 suits, 4231 with De Zerbi suits too and might be even better for our squad with Trent playing at the base of the 2 rotating with Mac Allister and allowing our other midfielders to play in that central CAM role suiting our 11 player midfield. I think De Zerbi might be even higher quality than Amorim or Alonso, as Brighton are already the level of a Bayer Levurkusen and West Ham which if Amorim wants to go there, maybe both Alonso and Amorim want to spend time with that kind of club before going to a big club as they are both young
This appointment really determines the next direction we will go in. We will either drop off abit or really step to the next level.
I think Liverpool would be an attractive club to manage given the squad available and the young players coming through. It kind of feels like that with the departure of Klopp, a few players will be leaving as well (Salah, Allison, Matip, Thiago, Diaz, maybe even TAA).
If Amorim is appointed, he'll want to bring in his own players to fill out the squad. With the sale of some of the players above (Matip and Thiago will leave on frees) there should be enough money in the war chest to bring in good quality.
Amorim is my frontrunner to replace Klopp now that Alonzo is staying at Leverkusen.
Why would allison and TAA go?
@@cowboy8968 - TAA to play at Madrid, Allison because the squad will have changed - made up of "kids".
@@nattyswede youâre miles off it

Both Amorim and Alonso are living the Life in the clubs they represent. They both have a SAY in their club, even though they're facing lower budgets. They're too young to sell themselves towards a "product". Yes, the PL is simply, an UEFA product. They'll do that when they're older, when they decide to manage egocentric kids, instead of managing humble men. These 2 managers are on another level.
Thanks for the video
Unai Emry would be a great option. He has EPL experience. Plus he's won trophies and managed big clubs
I've been saying Unai Emery even when Xabi was supposed to have been in the running. The only black spot against Emery objectively has always been his comical English and that's it. Doesn't he simply tick every single box?

RDZ is a top coach. He's exactly what we need. Taking Brighton & Hove Albion to a top 6 finish in the premier league last season is equivalent to winning the prem title with Liverpool or at least a proper title charge. His Brighton side have played the best football in the league and they are average players. This season he's lost his best players in Macca & Caicedo. The players they've brought in like Dahoud and Ansu Fati haven't worked and his current best players Solly March & Mitoma have been missing for the majority of the season. Key midfielder Billy Gilmour out for what looks like 4 months, as well as their main strikers Joao Pedro and Wellbeck, and key full back Estipinan all being out for 2months each as well. With all these massive problems in his squad he's still managed to keep them in the top half of the table and only 6 points of 6th again.
He's got the passion you love to see but he's also a very progressive young coach and he was a very good technical and clever player back in his playing days. Brighton play a brave but very risky game. However their high risk-high reward play is only that because they don't have the individual quality to control the game to that superior high level like City can. If they did it would be medium to low risk and high reward. Last season Brighton were much better when MacAllister was dictating the game for them and Caicedo was cleaning up. Individual quality is massive especially for a team that plays progressive expansive football.
If a game could be controlled via possession at 100% (call that ManCity) Brighton players can only control that same game at maybe 60-70%. If they had the players to control the game in possession to a higher degree, they'd be much for fluid and efficient in possession and that would lead to more control and less chances given away. De Zerbi is capped at Brighton, it's not the fact he doesn't know how to defend, he's Italian, that's what they do), his players simply aren't good enough to implement his style of play, if he takes over at ManCity from Pep, what i'm saying would be a lot clearer.
Tuchel is the most obvious stop gap choice till Alonso finishes his Leverkusen project. Look what he did to Arsenal. I reckon it's De Zebri for what he can do with young players ( Caicdio MacAllister etc ) He is used to finding gems and developing them. Liverpool are going back to that model hence Edwards and Hughes appointments. De Zebri also has prem experience and definitely has his own style of play. He can be hard to connect with but if he hits the ground running the fans will get behind him.
I'd have tried to persuade Linders
Iâm okay with an interim boss if it means Alonso takes over down the line. And the perfect man for that position, is multiple Klopp successor, Tommy Tuchel.
Or Gary OâNeil.
đ€·đ»ââïž How does LFC have 6+ months to get this right, & still get it wrong? How
How have we got it wrong when no one has been appointed yet?
@@FutureFretlessFair, Iâm being reactionary. But LFC recruitment (players, coaches, directors) seems like weâre getting our 2nd/3rd choices now. Tchouameni, Bellingham, Caicedo, Lavia, Alonso⊠Amorim?
@@asuhdude6668 Pretty sure it happens at every club bar Real Madrid. We know all too well regarding Tchouameni and Bellingham. đ
@@asuhdude6668yeah but we have new sporting director or whatever edwards is. Heâs not gonna be messing around like we were in the past
â@@asuhdude6668what makes you think Alonso was the number one target
I want Charles Bronson let out of prison to take over that would definitely interesting whenever a decision didn't go our way .
Simeone as a Liverpool manager would be destroyed by referees and More importantly by your British press , when foreigners are doing well for our club making any sort of headway your media go after their passion as crazy ranting or look for racism or play acting as excuses to try and destroy them . Slightly different approach by them has been Nunez putting compilations together of missed chances when other strikers are equally as wasteful some until the last couple of months hadnât even bagged a goal but nothing about their fee their wasteful chances . So nomatter who comes in is in for scrutiny and falsehood nomatter what he does .
Arne Slot is a shoe in... but i think it should be Virgil as player manager.
VVD player manager đđđđđđ dumbest idea Iâve ever heard
Going to be Mourinho ! FSG are not going to get past his statistics. He is a winner. If Mourinho brings the League and or Champions League (which is very possible) then all the haters will flip to love boys. Mourinho will make it happen.
De zerbi is the most proven maybe. We would at least be happy with the football style
Zizou should be the next Liverpool manager
If we don't get Ruben I'm debating on becoming a spurs fan đ
I want Xavi or Zidane but if Iâm being more realistic itâd have to be Emery or Frank
My favourite set up now Chloe is relaxed and a fullfledged redwoman!
DeZerbi might work. At least he's confident, speaks English and believes in what he's doing.. Not sure those Germans truly do..
I have doubts about Amorim.. he has amazing players who eventually will be in top clubs, wing backs in particular.. I don't think he'd get as much out of Liverpool.
Pep Lijnders is a definite no. I cannot see him being able to put a 'star'' in his place unlike DeZerbi..
No to Frank or Unay..
Tuchel is a ghoul
When Nuno was at Wolves I thought I wouldn't mind him being our manager one day, but the history has not been kind..
Don't know anything about Serie A coaches..
Just give anyone a season until Xabi Alonso ripens..
Edwardâs and Hughes making a right mess of this
On what basis? Has Hughes even joined us yet?
What are you talking about? It may be a case that Amorim probably didn't pass the interview. So onto the next candidate.
â@@TheVarsityVillanV2or media knows nothing they are grasping
Whoâs the next candidateâŠ.Harry Redknapp? Also, Richard Hughes has to be involved in the process of appointing the new Liverpool manager
â@@robertskillen1887 You like everyone else don't have a clue, there's a process and a 100% what you're seeing in the press is information from agents and not the club also most probably every manager being considered for the job is currently employed, so any contact has to be made with respect and causing the least amount if upset for their current employers whilst the football season is still ongoing- try to think before posting bs just for the sake of it đ
Jose or no one, itâs another banter era if nothing is properly planned
Hope they give Pep a chance or try to get Emery
Pep lmao real sad state this club is in
Pep said he isn't interested
@@GhostJJJ Pep Lijnders you numpty! Yes very sad state when youâre fighting for the title. Stick to commenting on net ball or hockey
Franck Haise, RC Lens manager, I think is going to be a name to watch in the coming days
I will check on him thanks for the info.

Will Liverpool players leave if they dont get a manager they are not impressed with ??
Been Liverpool supporter as a very small kid. This is my life not just my team. The special one comes Liverpool manager I stop watching football. Nar cant happen.
What
I hope this doesnt drag on throughout the summer, hopefully they announce before the Euros. It's already boring and annoying.
Ive gotta be honest for me at the moment diego simeone is the best choice he will make us solid defensively and with the attacking talent we have i genuinely believe he could come in and win the league. AND I FUCKING HATE TAKING ON HIS ATHLETICO SIDES ! lol
Get Jose in for a year
De zerbi is rodgers all over again
Wholeheartedly agree and Ruben would be more likeRafa
Vincent kompany i know your laugh,But I think he is going to be a top manage
