It is important for video editors to become better so that they can produce amazing content for clients. If you are a video editor that doesn't use After Effects, it can be easy to dismiss the program as something that is too difficult and time-consuming to learn. Learning Adobe After Effects doesn't have to be as intimidating as it seems. Sure, there are a lot of effects and tools to learn but the basics are easy to pick up and you can be doing some cool stuff in no time.
The ability to create motion graphic title sequences, lower thirds, and logos in After Effects is a skill that is highly sought after in the video editing world. It creates a higher level of flexibility and efficiency, allowing editors to spend more time doing what they love, rather than having to hand off projects to be completed by post-prod professionals.
You've already got the knowledge from video editing to help you make the plunge into After Effects. In this video I'll help you get started.

As a video editor myself, I can gauge how much effort you have put into making this video. Especially, the graphics explaining the differences between premiere and after effects. They are so very well done and enhance and aide the narrative so well. Another thing, I'm in that same boat where I'm constantly trying to stack my after effects skills over my video editing skills. It's time consuming and frustrating at times, yet as I am fully aware, very much need of the hour. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
