    Ingredients for party jollof:
    * 5 cups basmati rice
    * 2 large marinated chicken quarters cut into small pieces (see my video on the oven grilled chicken for recipe) here is the link • How to make the ULTIMA...
    * 1 tablespoon total of smoked paprika
    * 1 tablespoon of dry parsley
    * salt (1 tablespoon)
    * 1/4 cup coconut oil
    * vegetables of your choice; I used 2 cups green beans chopped, chopped carrots, and onions.
    * black pepper 1 teaspoon

    Yes, thanks for sharing this. Your Jollof rice reminds me of Indian Briyani rice. I can almost smell the fragrant chicken, tomatoes, chilly, pepper, onion, rosemary mix basmanthi rice!

      I finally made it last night! 🥰
      It’s been 2 years but my career kept me on the road traveling. Since the Pandemic I’ve had time to do things I’ve always wanted to do and Mastering Jollof is one of them.
      It was our first time having Nigerian cuisine.
      My family loved it!
      I made Jollof, peppered fish, and some chicken wings for those that won’t eat fish.

      In the beginning with vegetables, then with the chicken, rice. Best practice is to season every layer as you add more ingredients and also taste accordingly. Some of it wasn’t captured in the video though so you didn’t miss it. Thank! That’s a great quedtion🙏🏾💕

      Both are great in taste and final texture. Jasmine is more perfumed and softer grain so it’s really a matter of your personal preference 🙏🏾😘
