      We love that RhinoAG Cutters are American Made too! It's amazing how many cutters are not made in the USA but are recognized brands. Need to Look at the Serial Number Plates to Country of Origin. Proud to support our fellow American that Build American Made Products. RhinoAG uses all North American Sourced Steel too. 80% if USA Steel. How many brands can say that too?

    I’d rather have three hydraulic remotes and have the wings set in the float position. That way the stroke of the cylinders is what actually limits the flex of the wings, and not the notch/slot that it’s connected to. I’m seriously considering the TS12.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 5 lety +5

      You can plumb it for 1, 2 or 3 sets on either TS10 or TS12. Just depends on how many sets of remote valves you have on the tractor. Most small tractors only have 1 set so RhinoAG standard equipment is for 1 set but a dealer can set up how ever you need it, RhinoAG has the conversion kits to do it.

    Would that work on a 2605 2wd with one set of remote in the rear? Also do need more than one control to do it all or two controls

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes it would work behind Massey Ferguson 2605 (38 Engine/ 32 Live PTO HP or 30 Independent PTO HP) and the 2605H is 55 Engine/ 46 PTO HP. Only needs 1 rear remote is way the TS10 is rigged from the factory.

  • @andrewbrenneman9592

    Could the wings be replumbed to a separate hydraulic circuit? (If customer requested)

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 5 lety +1

      Yes. This standard equipment set-up is for a single remote but they offer plumbing options for running with 2 or3 remotes. It's the purchasers choice. Most compact tractors only have a single remote so as pictured in this video they don't have to purchase added remotes for their tractor. It can be done like this, Raise on one circuit and wings on a separate circuit or each wing separate too. Your choice.

    Would this leave a finished cut if you keep your pasture grass well maintained?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 5 lety +1

      I have customers that take a 4" grinder and sharpen the blades to create a more manicured look with Flex Wing Mowers. This way they do more of a cutting job versus beating action.

    Could a Ford 3000 diesel tractor 35 pto horse power do you think it would pull that probably up and down a big hill

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      Ford 3000 on Tractor Data shows 38 PTO HP Diesel, 37 PTO HP Gas. That is plenty to run the mower and that still provides over 10 HP for the Tractor to pull up contours.

  • @andrewbrenneman9592
    @andrewbrenneman9592 Před 5 lety +1

    The wings don't automatically go below horizontal?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 5 lety

      They will go below horizontal in the field but this single remote system is gravity fall and hydraulic raise for those that only have single outlet. Most flex wings are plumbed this way with single action cylinders. You could run hoses to both sides of the cylinder but would need more remote valves to operate the machine as double acting cylinders. Then it can put hydraulic down pressure on the wings and raise the center section. Not sure why you want to do that as most want to run in float position so the mower follows the ground contours.

  • @David-ll8bt
    @David-ll8bt Před 5 lety +1

    How much does it weigh? What is the length from tongue to tail wheel? Do the tail wheels on the wings fold in for transportation?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 5 lety +1

      Base Weight of the TS10 is 2,190#, Tongue Weight is 720#. Overall Length from Tip of Tongue to Tailwheel is 162". Wheels do not fold in but Transport Width is only 93" which is less than 8' and that is going to be the widest point.

  • @conanruisi
    @conanruisi Před 2 lety +1

    Would like one with a single wing where the wing operates at 90 degrees.
    Maybe add in a sickle bar or ditch bank flail on the side with the single wing…
    If the driveshaft geometry doesn’t line up then you just make the flail and wing deck hydraulic and leave the center on direct with a shaft.

    • @conanruisi
      @conanruisi Před 2 lety +1

      Also like that one guy said I’d rather have full hydraulic control over the flex rather than letting gravity/the notch control it

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      Pretty much all wings on Flex Wing Cutters are single acting cylinders... Gravity Fall and Hydraulic Raise. Now the center section is double acting cylinders Hydraulic raise lower.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      If you only want a single wing you need to look at the 15' Cutters with only right side wing which are 10' cut. RhinoAG 3100, 4105 or 5100 are the models for those. We've only sold one to a local road district.

      @@VahrenbergImplement I’ve seen them I just can’t find it on CZcams.
      My point was more like: the single wing is almost perfect for me just needs a bit of modification.
      I’d want dual double acting cylinders on the wing so that stability is ensured when using it to trim a hedge.
      I wanna throw that wing up at 90 degrees and trim hedges while clearing the ground next to it at the same time.
      I also want the extra rigidity to add a second chopper on the wing side to top the hedge or just trim further up it.
      Also for doing ditch passes on stuff with light inclines

      25 Engine or 25 PTO HP Tractor? It require the minimum of 25 PTO HP to run the mower. You may need more HP to pull hills or for the lay of your land or soft ground conditions. I personally like 30 PTO HP but Rhino states minimum required is 25 PTO HP for flat,dry ground

      TS10 with RhinoTrax and Chain Guards are $16,369.02 (2023 Pricing). Steel and Fuel have lots to do with rising costs. High fuel prices increase freight to dealer and everything shipped to RhinoAG Factory in Illinois to build & assemble. Increased Wages has effected cots to manufacture too.
