    Love the channel! I'm fixing to get myself a 5075e here in the spring identical to yours. Looking forward to more videos featuring the e12 and the 5075e in the future. Thanks!

    I am John Deere through and through even though John Deere is ridiculous on price but you know what? Their all are expensive as hell. I just like me some John Deere. You put that 5075E in some tall grass and labor the engine a bit on those cold days because I will be watching. You got it looking good behind you.

    I love your videos and I was wanting to know if you could do a video on how to hook up and unhook the disc mower, hay rake, round baler, and batwing bush hog to and from the 5075E, and how they work, and how to operate them, and how to maintain them, and a walk around and an overview of the 5075E, disc mower, hay rake, round baler, and batwing bush hog?

    You need two hydralic valves. One for the up down, one for the wing up-down-float.

    Just a thought if your hoses will reach try laying them over your top link bar so they arent catching everything. If it doesnt reach the top link maybe a bungie cord wrapped around the hoses and bungie attached to the top link just to get them up higher.

    • @theweekendfarmer7513
      @theweekendfarmer7513  Před 4 lety +2

      I looked at, Bush Hog, Landpride, Rhino, Woods, Titan, and Bush Wacker. They were all with in $600 of one another. except for Titan...Titan is a local built batwing in Tennessee that's about $2000 cheaper than everybody else...but its a lightweight cutter, comparable to the Landpride...John Deere and Bush Wacker appear to be the better built. almost identical... Kapper Outdoors has some good videos on the Bush Wacker...If you've never watched his channel you need to check him out. He has a video where he looks at all the spec sheets of all the 12' batwings on the market...However, he made that video before the John Deere came out on the market.

      @@theweekendfarmer7513 Thanks for the reply, I do watch Kapper. I'm really glad you showed the bottom of this mower, I have a lot of rocks and want to protect the decks as much as possible. I pick up rocks constantly but there will always be some. Still owe a little on my tractor but when she's paid off I think one of these E12's is on my list.

      Sounds like your wings are letting down too far. There are adjustments on the outer wheels. Or, maybe the middle section needs to be lower. There is an adjustment for that as well.

    • @theweekendfarmer7513
      @theweekendfarmer7513  Před 2 lety +1

      You need to make sure your dealer plumbs the hydraulics where you can do that… everything is hydraulic up and gravity down. So even if both your hoses are pressure hoses, you just pull your lever slightly backwards or forwards, to where the hydraulics can free flow, and gravity will push the unit down.

    How did you plumb your Cutter ? Mine came w 1 hose to the tractor. Looks like you have 2 hoses. I cannot lift the belly of the mower without the sides coming up first. Makes it hard when cutting and need to lift cutter. I have to disengage to raise it. It also makes it difficult to engage in y’all grass bc the mower is all the way down to the height I have it set. At the 5 min mark of your video you show yours will lift the belly first then the wings. Please provide me with some guidance.

      @Nathan Justice thank you for your help. I only have 1 SCV. The original video that I watched on here from the Weekend Farmer only has 1 SCV as well. However he has 2 hoses on the cutter. I only have 1. Not sure what he did to make that work but if you watch his video at the 5 min mark you will see what I’m referencing. Not sure how to make it work like that.

    Went to buy one of these E-12 cutters today and during conversation he told me the Gear Boxes was made in CHINA.....That ruined his sale. I bought another brand $1500.00 cheaper.....

    • @jackfreeman4121
      @jackfreeman4121 Před 3 lety

      @@theweekendfarmer7513 Actually didn't buy yet but probably a Bush-Whacker. Weighs about the same as the Deere but it may have China Gear boxes. In fact they may all have China Gear Boxes. The salesman said it couldn't be made to lift wings separately and if it could that would be a sizeable charge. But did give me a good price. $11,800....I bought a 5100M tractor from him a year or so ago.....Bush Whacker about $10,500

    • @theweekendfarmer7513
      @theweekendfarmer7513  Před 3 lety

      @@jackfreeman4121 They probably are all made in china... I can tell you that is one tough gear box. Even my little 6' co-op bush hog has been to hell and back. If you have one go pre maturely, Im sure they will all honor their 5 year warranty. Make sure bush whacker has the same warranty. The told me the same thing about the hydraulics. They just dont want to do it...you have to have two SCV's, and you do on a 5100. Kapper Outdoors has his on 3 SCV's, He can move left or right or up and down. It would be handy in steep ditches, but yes!!! Very Expensive!!

    • @jackfreeman4121
      @jackfreeman4121 Před 3 lety

      Well I went back this morning and bought the Deere. Called three places that said they sold Bush Whacker but no one had one, so I bit the bullet and got the Deere. Salesman told me it would cost $1200.00 to convert the Hydraulics to raise both wings. I told him that would be good just like it was. Have you investigated that any? Have you had any problems with yours?.....I'm sure I will like mine. Deere makes good stuff but not sure they make this 12 foot......

    • @theweekendfarmer7513
      @theweekendfarmer7513  Před 3 lety

      @@jackfreeman4121 You will love it!!!! Is this your first batwing??? Everything Deere sales is good, even still!! or they wouldn't paint it green!!Haha!!! If its not they'll make it right...No problems with mine...I have not investigated that...You can do it yourself, its just plumbing. you may have to have some hoses made, but if you have two valves on your tractor you can do it. The cylinders are hydraulic up and gravity down. So you need fluid to push it up, and then you need a return. I only have one valve. so I can't do it.
