    I like the design of that hitch. It’s set up like the 5th wheel Rv hitches on the Heavy Duty Trucks aka semis that tow RVs. Instead of the hitch being forward of, or directly over the rear axles,...they set them up 3 or 4 feet behind. That way, it allows for a longer combination to turn tighter.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 5 lety

      Exactly. That TS12 Hitch makes for incredible tight turns and allows this mower to do more in tighter spaces and not have to sacrifice the added cutting width. Thanks for the comments.

      Vahrenberg Implement the hitch, plus the overall length being 30”-40” shorter than other brands makes a huge difference too.

    I'm looking at the ts 12 Rhino & the Bush Whacker MD 144. The Pan style does concern me when you ding it. For that reason, I'm leaning toward the rhino even though the BW is cheaper in price. Rhino skid shoes are better. Great Video info.

      We sell lots of RhinoAG TS12 in our area been great machines and RhinoAG is a long term company with Heritage dating back to 1930. They actually invented the 4 Gearbox Flex Wing Rotary Cutter.

    How much does the Clevis run for the hitch I've messed mine up on my mower by not having two bolts in my hitch lesson learned

    I bought the 10' flexwing mower, leaks fluid from day 1. Emailed them asking for the part so I could fix it, and even willing to pay for the part even though its brand new and defective. Basicly told me to go f my self! I recommend before you buy anything from them, try to get a part for the item you want to buy and see what happens.

    I notice some of the rhinos have a metal gearbox cover and some have plastic. Not a deal breaker by no means. Just curious if the metal gearbox is a optional upgrade? Getting ready to pull the trigger on the rhino TS 12.

      The older (Early) generation had the Metal Shield over the Divider Gearbox. The Later models and current models use the Poly Shield and easier to open and strut supported from the 3150, 4150, 4155, & 5150 on the TS12.

    The right wing blades are turning the wrong way. They need to be turning against the tire tracks to prevent leaving a streak

      That is not how RhinoAG Engineers and most every other cutter manufacturer engineer them. I know the RhinoAG Engineers spend lots of time working with cut quality and residue management for the best cut and reducing lumps and bunching so residue is equal distribution. Got question like that I would ask RhinoAG they know the product best. www.RhinoAG.com

    I'm not getting any info on rhino ag website on ordering a TS 12. Are they taking orders for new mowers or is the supply chain issues suspended new orders at this time?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      You have to Order through your local dealer. They are taking orders all the time. Retail Order are priority over dealer stocking orders. Visit your local dealer and they can get you taken care of.

    Would you recommend laminated tires or the airplane tires?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      RhinoTrax Foam Filled is what we sell they are High Speed Tires and New Tires. Laminates and recapped airplane tires are not recommended over 15mph travel speeds. Plus RhinoTrax do a better job on hillsides reduces drifting down the slope better than other styles as they have a tread design that helps hold them on slopes.

    How does this cut grass? I need a big mower that will leave a nice finished cut for my front lawn.

    Are these stout enough to mow pastures daily? I know most 12’ units they claim “not for commercial use” or something along those lines. I’d love a 12’ unit to help shorten my days.

      We have sold a bunch of TS12 and customers main use are taking care of pasture mowing. Works great for them. RhinoAG now offers 2 models of 12' cutters. The TS12 with Cut Capacity up to 1.5" Diameter Trees and the NEW Heavy Duty 4125 with cut capacity to 4" Trees. Here is link to specs on 4125: www.rhinoag.com/products/rotary-cutters/flex-wing/4000-series-new-flex-wing/

      @@VahrenbergImplement son of a gun. This is EXACTLY what I have been waiting for someone to make. I’ll be saving my pennies for spring. A 12’ unit that can do 4” material would take care of every piece of property I need to maintain. Awesome. Thanks for the info!

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety +1

      I will tell you inventory is hard to get right now in the Flex Wing Cutters. RhinoAG is taking Retail Orders and locking in price the day you order. If you want for spring...it's probably best to get with your local dealer and get one ordered. They can request delivery date. It's challenging right now but hopefully inventory can get better for 2022. I'm ordering cutters now just hoping they make it here by summer 2022.

      Check out the RhinoAG Facebook Page they have some pictures in Orange Groves in Florida. Orchards are really liking the 12' width so they can get in between or narrow rows to get more trees per acre. Here is link I hop Works to some Pictures: facebook.com/rhinoag/posts/4923635670984944

      @@VahrenbergImplement great info!! Thank you for your responses here, most companies don’t take the time. With a new tractor purchase and a land purchase, I really do need to save my pennies! Lol. I went to that link you shared, what an awesome looking piece of equipment.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 6 lety

      Gibson City, Illinois USA! Like 90% of the Steel is US Steel. Some Items are imported but no source left in the USA for them. RhinoAG is proud American Manufacturer. Great Question amazing some of the brands and where they import from. I've heard nothing but compliments of the cut quality with RhinoAG. Sold lil brother TS10 and customer debated between Triple Finish Mower and TS10 and absolutely loves the TS10.

    • @Zomsky
      @Zomsky Před 6 lety +2

      That’s awesome, TS10 is exactly what’s I’m looking at! Can’t believe you made this vid right in the middle of mower shopping (spring is right about here for us). Need a nice mower to do the outer yards and go behind our small yard tractor (50hp). My aim is always to buy Aussie or American before I resort to third-world stuff. Rhino is part of the same family of companies as our local manufacturers called FieldQuip, always had their attachments.

      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 6 lety +1

      After I did the TS10 video I realized I had not done a TS12 so I did it when we sold it and the Massey Ferguson 4707. I've seen some of the videos from Oz and FieldQuip and looked like RhinoAG product. I was down under in 1987 as an exchange student. What part of Oz are you from. I travelled from Sydney down south and west over to Adelaide then back up to Canberra before I left.

      Vahrenberg Implement it’s a great spot here, we are about 5 hours north-west of Sydney, it’s a bit like our version of the mid-west! We actually had an exchange program with a school in Kansas City when I was a teenager, can’t for the life of me remember the name of the school! Each year we received kids and sent ours over In the summer (I missed out my year as I was down with chickenpox!)

    Really nice mower. But really? $18,000. Is it diesel or gas powered? Oh no wait it has no engine...4 gear boxes, 3 hydraulic cylinders and 4 tires $18,000 crazy just freakin crazy!

      Look at the Price of Fuel, Freight Costs, Employee Wages, Insurance Costs and Biggest factor Steel Costs. Everything has inflated in prices in recent years and those items are major factors in Machinery Prices. With high World Demand it's not getting better. Kind of reminds me of "Missouri Senator Jerry Litton was asked when we going to have $1 a Pound Steaks Again...He Answered soon as we have $10,000 a Year Senators" Your never going to see prices decrease again.
