    If u stick a pry bar in between the rim holes for the inner tire and the drum. Jerk on top and do the same on the bottom. I haven't had one not come off yet. The outside tire usually comes off the easiest. I would just take a good sledge and beat it top and bottom side to side. Then it'll usually come right off.

    Up here in MN where they love to lock up. Just loosen up the lugs and drive in tight circles until you hear it pop. eventually it will. never failed yet.

      Hi Jeff, we are familiar with these old practices, however, when considering liability and safety, the RIMWIT wins, bar none. Accidents and rework cost are the reasons why tire professionals insist on AME!

      I’m only looking at these things because I have no brakes and am in an area where I need them to move it otherwise I’d just go back to that

    I wonder if you welded two short pipe sections to fit over studs without nuts if it would be more stable and work even better

    What about an outside aluminum wheel that seized up with steel wheel on the inside?

      Hi Dave, our Heavy Duty Wheel Puller will only pull a steer wheel or inside dual. There is no way for the hook to grip the outside dual. I apologize! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

      Stick your spoon bar in between and try to pry might have to use plenty of pb or wd 40 or what ever you got and maybe will need to use a hammer if you don’t care about the rim you can strap some chains or straps to the rim and your other veichle and do a couple quick jerks that will break it free to

      I hate when that happens. Let the new guy do and put it on CZcams. Haha. Spoon bar is the best option.

    I wonder if this really really works...

      @aterack833 Před 2 lety

      Probably but you might need to go to each hole, most methods that push on the hub or studs actually take very little force relative to what is usually required, even a bottle or wind up bottle Jack can do it with some chain wrapped through but it tends to be more violent

      It likely still works, also driving on it with not torqued lugs (if they have washers then have the washers touch but able to spin) works well for just about any combination, but from what I’ve seen so far is that and method that pushes on the studs or hub from the wheel (typically with chains) works really well, the Jack method is a bit violent and the one tool that is like two puller tools in one unit that you tighten side to side seems to work the best, being like a side to side controlled version of the Jack method, this way shown should work well too but you sacrifice a bit of power for the easy to store size and shape
