- An updated version for people who liked the original formula but wanted more. Which makes a lot of sense. It seems to call back to a lot of early platformer games Nintendo put out and that's fine with me. It adds a few things you'd expect, like more jumping forgiveness. The key part bugged me because it's B to pick it up, but you can't move and pick it up at the same time. I literally tried everything except just standing and pressing B. Doh.

The way the game starts off with all the typical DK levels and then just opens up into an ENTIRELY new game was just pure *genius.*
This version is now 28 year old as of June 2022. It was released on *June 14, 1994.*
If u turn jump man upside down you can deflect the springs that DK throws at u & I have this game on my 3DS virtual console
Jump man (jump-man)* because mario used to have his name as jump-man in DK 1981. That was changed as soon as Junior (DK Jr.) released.
Dont ask why i said that i just like DK.

Some people are compelled. I don't know all the reasons, it just happens.
The answer is that it's both Mario and Jumpman, either works, either is fine, there is literally nothing wrong with calling him Jumpman. This would be like me saying Dean Ambrose out loud.
Of course, I'm sure he hates that name, but everyone would know I'm talking about Jon Moxley.
