Whether you're working from home, lounging on the weekend, or looking for something new, please do stay a while and enjoy the grand demo reel! Sure, there will be longplays, reviews, streams, and extras on the side, but nothing is better than a little nostalgia for the game room. Or maybe you want to find something new to try for yourself? If it's a longplay, there's a place for that, but I'd like to introduce you to hundreds of games that maybe you'd like to pick up for yourself someday. Definitely comment and talk about these great or mediocre games and follow me on social media to continue the discussion. You won't be pestered by any branding, either.
Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story - Atari Jaguar (1994)
This is awful. Reeeeally awful. The admittedly good graphics do not save what is otherwise an unplayable mess. I made it a point to turn it down to easy just so you could see how stupid difficult this game is. It's not challenging, it's just that between the way the AI is programmed and the way your moves work, you don't hit a thing 90% of the time. When you do land something, it's almost always blocked. Even the worst of fighting games don't do as much wrong as this game does.

Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story - Master System (1994)

I'm mixed on this. It's not a great game, but then again, this is an 8-bit game making it feel like a grounded martial arts romp with good animations to go with it. We liked that in other games, so I feel like I want to like it here. The control scheme is where things get weird. Pressing the attack button doesn't attack. You have to combine the button with a direction to get an actual attack. T...
Richard Scarry's Busytown - Sega Genesis (1994)
zhlédnutí 46Před 7 hodinami
I am familiar with the characters a little bit, but I'd be lying if I told you I knew anything about this IP. It's also not bound to get much new interest from me now since, well, I'm not a child. I can tell you that this really wouldn't have been a bad childrens game back then. It feels like a digital version of learning toys. Just something to poke around with to see what happens while also l...
Phelios - Arcade (1989)
zhlédnutí 3Před 7 hodinami
I thought that, coming off the Genesis version, this wouldn't be too different. I was wrong about that, although I appreciate how the Genesis absolutely nailed it despite not quite keeping up with the presentation and the transitions. The arcade does come across a little better and, surprisingly, a little bigger. It feels a bit easier, too, oddly enough. I'm a big fan of these two games.
Performan - Arcade (1985)
zhlédnutí 8Před 7 hodinami
This would be a lot better if you could have just a tiny bit of freedom to maneuver. The problem here is the enemy AI. It's programmed to be way, way too tight and it takes a different approach than similar games. Enemies have a way of getting as close as possible and then changing directions to oppose what you're facing while still moving closer. Look at the movement here to see what I mean. I...
Penguin Wars - Arcade (1985)
zhlédnutí 30Před 7 hodinami
It was the game boy I already played this on, right? If so, then it's a perfect conversion of the arcade game and...well, it's a perfect conversion of a 1985 arcade game. So there's not a lot going on here and it remains fairly basic.
Panic Street - Arcade (1999)
zhlédnutí 43Před 7 hodinami
Gals Panic, but without CZcams losing its mind. Seriously, it's so weird to play a game like this that isn't adult in nature. Does that make it any less of a cluster? No. No, it does not.
MotoRace USA - Arcade (1983)
zhlédnutí 27Před 7 hodinami
Once I fired this up, I realized this was Zippy Race from the SG-1000. I do indeed have other consoles than NES/SNES/Genesis on the console playlist so you should definitely go scope those other demo reels out. It has the exact same frustrations as the Sega version, though. Limited reaction time, narrow paths, and really no choice in whether or not you can get fuel or points. It's all random.
Revolution X - Sega Genesis (1994)
zhlédnutí 5Před 9 hodinami
Surprisingly, no gun support. Probably because of the machine gunning required and the fact that you'd never see anything with all the flashing, but that's just a guess and it still feels odd. The d-pad does not do this game any favors. It took me a sec to realize the C button was a quick-move button. Once I did, it was mashed down permanently but it goes from "can't keep up" to "too slippery" ...
Quad Challenge - Sega Genesis (1991)
zhlédnutí 37Před 9 hodinami
A port of Four Trax from the arcade, but that's the only interesting thing about this game. This may well have been a Master System game, it's just so limited, boring, and slow feeling.
Puggsy - Sega Genesis (1993)
zhlédnutí 45Před 9 hodinami
I'm not sure I want to play the Sega CD version because this did not do it for me in the least. It's a slippery game that feels very European, if that makes sense, that's part puzzle, part platform, part...I dunno. It looks like it's based on problem solving a bit like Lemmings in that you are expected to fail every so often and a level restart is built into the controls. I find it to be highly...
Pro Moves Soccer - Sega Genesis (1993)
zhlédnutí 12Před 9 hodinami
This is terrible. I'm actually shocked I made iit 5 minutes because I genuinely thought it was 2. The game is so...bad. It's a slippery mess and the controls do not do anything you want them to do. In fact, I'm genuinely convinced it does the opposite of what you want. The layout is even horrible. It's actually a game I would encourage you to play for yourself just so you know how bad it is. Ev...
Pinocchio - Sega Genesis (1996)
zhlédnutí 51Před 9 hodinami
Not bad for the Genesis, but Disney did well on the console. It's incredible just how many games you forget they made for the 16-bit systems based on older IPs. This was smack dab in the middle of the Disney Renaissance, so it made perfect sense. They were bringing new attention to all of their old properties and I think we really need to have a conversation about Eisner vs. Iger. Might have to...
Phelios - Sega Genesis (1990)
zhlédnutí 22Před 9 hodinami
This caught me a bit out of nowhere. It's funny that I only associated this game style with Legendary Wings, but nope, another mythological shmup and it's surprisingly good. Just because it screams Sega Genesis, I think I might prefer this better, too. It's just very fun, loose...OK, a little too loose...and fluid like you'd expect in the great arcade ports for the system. This could be really ...
Snatcher - Sega CD (1994)
zhlédnutí 17Před 9 hodinami
I feel that this is the "correct" version of Snatcher. Yes, it was on the Sega CD and that contributed to more of a cult following rather than an outright hit, but it feels right. This was a great time for us younger gen to discover more adult themed stories, anime in general, and a real connection to the CD medium whether it was audio or CD-ROM. 1994 was about the time where kids were starting...

Game looks mad jank yo.
I wonder why the audio and video went out-of-sync.
@@mastersproutgamer9327 dang, I thought I caught all these. I figured out the problem later but I didn't know which videos were affected. I'll need to replace.
That ladder climbing animation lol
Climbing via Mamushka.
Not sure about this one. Lol. Awesome video and gameplay
Huh, the driving/sidescrolling combo makes it feel like the spiritual predecessor to Vice: Project Doom. The look makes it look like Dreamweb.
Ohh never thought bwings had another game. Though the player in this demo seems like playing using their butt to press the bottons haha
I tried fingers.
This was one of the first aracde game that I used to love. I can't believe it took me so long to find it.
There is a game show edition of Trivial Pursuit back in the 90s.
Find a cheat code for this pos.
if my memory wont trick me. this was on arcade rooms as well yes?
You got me. I'm not really sure what that is? Help a brother out lol
@@TheGamesBayTGB i mean ofcourse this very game was on arcade rooms as well you dont understand what?
When you say "on arcade rooms," I'm hearing it like it's a TV show but I'm not really sure.
AWESOME SONIC R- SEGA SATURN - (1997 ) GAME !!!!
I miss the Atari
Oh my god, someone actually clicked on the Atari videos and provided proof that they did it. I feel ya, though. Not all of these games are obsolete.
@@TheGamesBayTGB dude. I have the Atari flashback. I had the 2600 and 7800 back in the day
I have one of the Flashbacks, but for some reason I never get my hands on the one I want. I really feel like Atari is deliberately dancing around making the perfect one. Just make one that does all 3 systems and release add-on controllers for each console. And make the 5200/7800 controllers fixed without the old flaws. They do this mix and match thing that annoys me with that line.
Man what a TERRIBLE Game
This looks a lot like Kung Fu Master.
T.I.P 0:46
yes yes, when games were still a concept love the parody :)
little did i know this was an arcade game....i thought it was just a master system home release
I'm sure this served as some small inspiration for the breakable terrain in various Gradius games.
Brought back memories..miss this game
A Master System gem !
This game looks like it rules but is also ass
@@brandenhill8426 that's about right
What a childhood memory, i instantly time traveled to my tv lounge when I was a kid
I remember seeing this at Toys R Us when it came out. I wish I would’ve got it . I would have loved it.

One of my favourite games on the master system
awesome, I should do more retro gaming on my page too.

Wow, just when I think I've seen every classic game.
@@solamon77 that's why I love doing these playlists. I thought I knew a lot, but every day it's something new. If we couldn't play anything released after 2000, we'd still have a lifetime's worth of games to play.
This was like Star Trek.
With space cats.
The Sega MS version was much better then the arcade version.
I thought so, too. It was the last of the 3 versions I put up and I liked it the best.
great enemy designs!
Strange game, a pirate captain fighting werewolves and witches
But if we can't have this combo, what good are video games?
Now I want to play Captain Silver for the Master System. I had no idea that this was even available on the Famicom
What in the name of Gib??
Classic game and so refreshing at the time. Great job!
Kinda like on ABC Sports.
I like KABC-TV.
The fact that this isn't a tie-in for the Disney movie is somewhat surprising.
this is one of the game gear games i go back to for the racing game. the drifting controls are spot on, love the art style. too bad sega didn't release more packs
Is that a sequel to Bosconian?
Yep!
@@TheGamesBayTGBI see, thanks for the answer!
Those cutscenes have got a Hotel Mario/Zelda CDI feel to them. Wait’ll the YTP community hears about this!
It's the exact same animation team, that's why. =)
LOW quality of video !
That's why I reeeeally wanted the CD-I version to work. At least it would have been slightly better. 90s FMVs games were rough, but it's what we had.
@@TheGamesBayTGB watch REQUIRED quality of DOS on website MOBYGAMES
The only video there is one that's 240p compressed to hell and if you want that, just turn this video to 240p. Your sentence makes no sense. Be more specific if you feel there is something wrong.
I recognise this gameplay format......wait.....Garfield......?........Micky Mouse...?.......Solomon's Key?!
Yep lol talk about a series that just got IP cloned to death! Also, Bugs and Roger Rabbit.
you can walk freely past the red doors. you enter them by standing over the white mat beside the door handle while facing the door handle. i sometimes forget myself and also think the blue doors could open also that door open by pressing up maybe we been playing too much rolling thunder 🤣 elevator action ex is my favorite of the series/ports, the game boy port is basically a stripped down version
Yeah it's NOT what you first think you should do lol it was just so hard to get used to when in other games it would just be up. I'm gonna try Old & New at some point today for GBA and see how it holds up.
Love from a 8BitRyan and Vaush fan!
Hell ya
They should have put this game in Marvel Vs Capcom fighting collection over Punisher.
Yeah, that was...a choice.
Crash Bandicoot if he was FREAKY
That Lord Zodak is one ugly duckling.
