Great video, plans tend to be arranged around blood tests and hematology appointments, then for the next 7 weeks, I'm an airhead blood test stress head and back to being a airhead again 😂 I think it's time i took a leaf out of your book. ❤

3:18 you need a battery pack. I feel so smug when there's a power outage in my area. My neighbours are lights off and no TV going. My lights are on and TV on 😅
lol. In the 13 years we've lived in this house I can count on one hand the number of times our power has gone out. So many times all the neighbouring suburbs are out but we're fine? But if it was a regular thing I would totally invest.

We had some cool days in the October/November - so weird.
Hot tip for Cold Sores - as soon as you feel the tingle use Lucas' PawPaw Ointment (Must be the Lucas' brand, I tried others but no joy). Since I started using this I have only had one or two end up coming up in about 6-7 years, and they were much less severe and cleared up in a couple days. (Haven't even had one at all since going Carnivore (two and a half years), though, so, actually, two hot tips... lol).
So do you not eat ANY vegetables or salads or anything on this diet? I mean - I would still want those things... but I'm all for more meat... lol
@@MySemiSortedLife 95% meat and animal products for me, I guess, but I would recommend starting more 'Ketovore' anyway for transition, to be kind to your body and assist with sticking with it. The goal is to keep yourself in Ketosis as much as possible, essentially.
As you become 'fat adapted', where your body uses fat for energy all the time instead of carbs, you will find that the more 'only' meat you eat, the better you feel, so that's enough motivation for me to give up the veges and fruit most of the time. I honestly feel so great when I just stick with fatty beef, butter, salt and water (and coffee haha, as I said before, I did even give this up at one point too but I personally never found any negative bringing it back, so I re included it just 'cause I like it).
On Carnivore you are in charge of how strict you are going to be. Run your own experiments and eat what ultimately makes you feel the best. I just know that eventually you'll probably end up more Carnivore than Ketovore because most people feel best eating this way. The comment sections on all the videos have testimony to that trend.
And frankly... just cooking meat in my air-fryer, which is what I mostly do, is the quickest, easiest food prep and clean up I have ever done - so a win there too.
So to get started eat meat until you are full, then maybe you can have whatever veges you feel you need. Prioritise the meat and fat. That's the only rule, really.

@@MySemiSortedLife Yes, you may have missed one of my previous replies where I listed a bunch of youtube channel, many of the Dr's to start your research. One more I would add is Kelly Hogan (myzerocarblife). So, Dr Anthony Chaffee, Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Ken Berry, steaknbuttergal, Lilly Kane. Many of them have books too if you prefer that medium. There are literally hundreds of channels and experts to refer to... but these are just a great few to start on. Feel free to ask if you need more or can't find these ones. BEST tip - definitely read through the comments of their videos, so many people share their stories and results.
I did some random research last night and if for sure sounds amazing. I just have to be careful about restrictive dieting because of my tendancy to become obsessive and unhealthy. I def see the benefit of more protein - especially at my age and stage of life. (And sorry if I missed the other reply - I don't get notified of replies to replies so I have to go seek them out. x)
