Mel's main weapon gets full benefits from Anvil boosts and the Growth upgrade and this extra damage is not divided, even when Mel gets the second bite. The life-steal effect from Mel's level 2 has no cooldown.
The life-steal from Mel's Acerola Juice skill can heal from 1hp to up to 20% max hp. The damage from Mel's Mel Mel Cooking and Genius Vampire skill cannot activate the life-steal on-hit effect from her Acerola Juice skill.
Mel's Genius Vampire skill has a limit to how fast it can activate (it seems to be about 4 activations per second) and Jingisukan is usually enough to reach it. The bats from this skill have a base damage of 12.
Mel's Mel Mel Cooking skill has a base damage of 10 and its damage is unaffected by the Skill Up upgrade from the shop. The damage from her Mel Mel Cooking skill is still affected by the Beetle item. The damage from Mel Mel cooking is not affected by Devil Hat. The attacks from her Mel Mel Cooking skill will not damage inanimate objects, such as Yagoo statues and crates.
Mel's special counts as a ranged attack. Her special can defeat enemies that are normally immune to damage.
12:07 The Wiki is incorrect, the healing from the Life Steal Stamp does activate Mel’s Genius Vampire skill. However, The Life Steal Stamp tends to get outclassed by the Haste Up, Bomb, and Size Up Stamps, due to the life-steal from Mel’s level 2 main weapon being much better.
I usually stick with the Bomb, Pacifist, and Weaken Stamps for endless mode.
Plushie is pretty much the worst item for Mel in endless mode. The accumulated damage greatly reduces how far Mel can go, due to how quickly it can build up to one-shot her and for the fact the accumulated damage can not be healed.
Full Meal is a must-have for Mel in endless mode.
The strong synergy of Jingisukan and Mel’s Acerola Juice skill allows Mel to easily survive past 40 minutes.
Candy Kingdom Sweets can duplicate EN’s Curse and allow Mel to deal massive damage that can decently keep up with the Yagoos.

Yeah Baby!!! Been waiting for this one haha!! my personal recommendation on playing Mel is plushie, it makes you virtually immortal
Plushie works if you intend on staying out of Endless, yep! It can work mostly interchangeably with Just Bandage with stage mode, so you don't have to be too picky between the two I find. If you plan on being piled by Yagoos at some point though, the damage you take will greatly outpace Plushie's mitigations. Thanks for watching!
