  • Today's helpful how to video will be on getting rid of your old school junk pin on blade style wiper arms, in this video I will be showing your what you will need to do to switch to J style wiper arms.
The first step you want to do will be remove your factory wiper arms, then track down or buy a set of ford j hook style wiper arms, The part number is listed down below. if you are doing this upgrade to a c10, c30, c20 you will want to buy two 18" wiper blades.
The second thing to do will be to sand and test fit your wiper arms to your wiper connectors, you want them to go on a little sung but not super sung, to achieve this you will want to sand the wiper connector and test fit them to you get the achievement you want. A wiper arm removable tool may help you remove the wiper if it is super tight, this should be a easy to do it yourself upgrade.
Third thing you will what to do is to test your new wipers out once everything is done, This mod worked great for me and im hopeful it works great for you.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I searched the part number in your description and bought them. Was easy to do and now I’m enjoying new and improved wiper arms. Thank you for the time you have put into figuring this all out!!

Works perfectly on my 78. Thank you. My set up is a little different because my hood covers the base of the wiper arm, but works awesome.

If you would rather go to a wrecking yard the Dorman 42631 will fit Ford F-150 1991-1996 and F-250 1991-1998.

Just wanted to say thanks. I plow with a 1980 GMC 6500 and the newer wipers don't like the old tab style attachment in the snow. Just ordered the F150 arms and looking forward to not having to constantly replace blades because the adapters suck. :)

Quick question, I was getting ready to order that Dorman part number but a bunch of reviews said it didn't fit every wiper motor. Did you use dormin's or OEM Ford takeoffs? If you used OEM Ford takeoffs what was the model and year? Thanks! I just bought a 1988 C30 crew cab

I used 95 super-duty from my roll back, they was the same part number that I had listed, I did half sand a little on the inside to make they go on more easy, but the upgrade was well worth it, I had no problems out of them since the install

Wonder if these will work for a 2005 Astro van... It uses the clip style arm attachment and 18 inch blades. Would love to find a J-hook option, a lot of manufacturers seem to be ceasing support for the pin style connection.
