- Today's helpful how to video will be on getting rid of your old school junk pin on blade style wiper arms, in this video I will be showing your what you will need to do to switch to J style wiper arms.
The first step you want to do will be remove your factory wiper arms, then track down or buy a set of ford j hook style wiper arms, The part number is listed down below. if you are doing this upgrade to a c10, c30, c20 you will want to buy two 18" wiper blades.
The second thing to do will be to sand and test fit your wiper arms to your wiper connectors, you want them to go on a little sung but not super sung, to achieve this you will want to sand the wiper connector and test fit them to you get the achievement you want. A wiper arm removable tool may help you remove the wiper if it is super tight, this should be a easy to do it yourself upgrade.
Third thing you will what to do is to test your new wipers out once everything is done, This mod worked great for me and im hopeful it works great for you.

This is what Ive been looking for but for a 1970 Chevy Truck .
This is exactly what I was looking for. I searched the part number in your description and bought them. Was easy to do and now I’m enjoying new and improved wiper arms. Thank you for the time you have put into figuring this all out!!
Glad I could help, also happy to hear my video was helpful, its a great upgrade
Works perfectly on my 78. Thank you. My set up is a little different because my hood covers the base of the wiper arm, but works awesome.
Happy it worked on your truck
Great info, thanks for sharing! I am looking forward to putting this mod on mine this weekend.
I love the mod ever since I done it on my c30
If you would rather go to a wrecking yard the Dorman 42631 will fit Ford F-150 1991-1996 and F-250 1991-1998.
Great info
cool this is what i need, this guy talks cool.
Thanks
Thank you 🙏
Welcome!
Worked great! Much better than stock. Thanks.
Great to hear!
Just wanted to say thanks. I plow with a 1980 GMC 6500 and the newer wipers don't like the old tab style attachment in the snow. Just ordered the F150 arms and looking forward to not having to constantly replace blades because the adapters suck. :)
Thanks , happy the video was helpful
Thanks I need to do this!
its a great upgrade
TattsForLife: I’m sure! The bayonet arms have killed a many a blades on my square body’s... ordering tonight!
Thanks!
Quick question, I was getting ready to order that Dorman part number but a bunch of reviews said it didn't fit every wiper motor. Did you use dormin's or OEM Ford takeoffs? If you used OEM Ford takeoffs what was the model and year? Thanks! I just bought a 1988 C30 crew cab
I used 95 super-duty from my roll back, they was the same part number that I had listed, I did half sand a little on the inside to make they go on more easy, but the upgrade was well worth it, I had no problems out of them since the install
This is a great video. Thank you for the information. I have an 80' K10 and really want to upgrade the wipers. Do you know if these arms will work on the K10 also?
Yes the wipers are the same, for the c series and k series
@@TattsForLife Thank you for the knowledge!!!!! I have done alot of work to this truck and been on countless pages and forums looking for a wiper arm cross reference but did not find anything solid. I should have known to check CZcams first! You rock man!
@@jeremiahandrews2758 welcome, I been doing alot videos with this style truck
Wonder if these will work for a 2005 Astro van... It uses the clip style arm attachment and 18 inch blades. Would love to find a J-hook option, a lot of manufacturers seem to be ceasing support for the pin style connection.
I'm here trying to figure out the same thing. My Safari Van's wiper blades are held on with a rock and a zip tie😂
Would that be the same thing on square body s10 wipers? I need wipers and on my 92 s10 I notice j hooks on my wife equinox and my old truck is old school?
Idk, to be honest
will this work on a 1975 GMC camper special?
I dont know if it would, but it should
What Ford year make and model did you remove from
95 7.3 super duty lol same truck on my channel, some the f150s have non j hooks
I have seen three types of wiper arm for square body at least. Mine is j style . But old one is tap style from cucv. Hook pin style like Your previous one . Right? Which one is the best? Every type is interchangeable?
my hook style was removed off of a 95 f350, I really like the hook style better than the pin on
@@TattsForLife i appreciate it three people including me changed the wiper arms due to you
@hongmihnhahn7081 happy to hear the video is helping the car community
How.do you.take off the blade holder i cant figure it out
Blade holder?
F*cken awesome Thx 👍🏼
Thanks for watching
What about the washer nozzles?
Get the ones that are factory on some year c10s that bolt to the fire wall and mouth inside the wiper cowl. That's what's on my truck.. way cleaner look
@@TattsForLife I saw those online and was wondering if I could put them on my 88 Burb. I prefer cowl mounted sprayers. Maybe I'll give that a shot.
@@JEGsGarage yah
And the spray nozzles?
Used the stock nozzles from the squarebody
