"A dothraki wedding without at least 3 deaths is considered a dull affair." 😂😂
Omg! When It started I thought of that straightaway! 👏🏻👏🏻😎😂
@@moonkatmagic5599 🤝
😂See? What’s the difference between them and dothraki?
This Criston guy is a disgrace. What kind of self respecting knight murders a nobleman in front of the royal family and punch the King Consort in the face for defending his lover? The fact that he got away with this scot-free is terrible writing.
Just read the source material. You’re NOT supposed to like this guy.
@@matthewriley7826 yeah but this scene isn't from the source material, and it is an insult to every viewer
@@iamsheel no it's not, and him getting away isnt weird or anything
he is a kingsguard, the other guy ... is nothing
in that world, this is just ok
@@Namo-xx1sz no. Him being a kingsguard doesn't give him an impunity to unprovoked murderer, and hitting a royal prince whose to be the son of the second powerful family in the realm AT HIS WEDDING! Even in that world this isn't ok. They aren't dothrakis.
He snapped. Having to watch the person who he has mistakenly fallen in love with due to a lack of communication get married to someone else, all while still not knowing if he's going to be executed or tortured for admitting he broke his oath to Alicent... Joffrey was just the spark that lit the powder keg. Dude should've stayed in his lane and not blab that he knows Criston's secret
Thst's pretty well what I thought.
Every time they showed Criston at the weeding, I was like: This dude is about to trip off line.
It was still written poorly. Or cut together poorly. You didn't see the build up, because they put in such a long break between the talk and the attack. We didn't get to see the "trigger" or the "boiling up of his emotions".
@@AzzurroProductions I disagree, they wanted to keep the tension in the air and have the audience second guessing where the break in the peace would be. Lingering too much on Criston would spoil that. I think they showed enough of Criston's reactions- especially when he's talking to Joffrey, to justify him snapping
Big mouth Gay people bhahahhaa
@@feedstacker exactly
His name was Joffrey that's why he killed him
Lesson learned.
If only he was there during got season 1 ...
Lol
Cole was scared as fuck, Joffrey didn't help. But, I am still sad for his death.
It's crazy he really thought Rhaenyra would give up her ascent to the throne to live a simple life with him lol
Fax like you can rule the kingdom one day and be the most powerful person in the realm but you her to instead live with the poor and criminals while being hunted by the kings guard for taking the princess
Disney princesses would do it, tho
Yea not sure what he was thinking
I just can't believe how stupid he is. Where in TF seven kingdoms are they supposed to hide. They will be hunted by everyone till death. Hell naw!
He was thinking with his head between his legs and not his shoulders
There was a crucial detail in the episode , Allison wore the color of war. Suddenly Cole snapped and killed Laenor’s lover and was later stopped by Allison from killing himself. Maybe Allison finally took her father’s advice.
Just one point: the Queen’s name is not Allison but Alicent 😊
@@didomenico-art That's not a point, it's nitpicking.
@@chandrakanth2596 sorry, it’s not. There may be exceptions like Brandon, Catelyn, and Robert - but one element of George R. R. Martin's stories is that the names of the protagonists, although they sound familiar to us, are often spelled and spoken slightly differently than those we know. That’s why it’s Joffrey and not Geoffrey, Eddard instead of Edward, and Maergary instead of Margaret. Alicent is just as much a case.
@@didomenico-art I think it was a typo. It took a bit of time before my phone learned to recognize Alicent lol. I really like that name too.
"Uhhhh, yeah, sorry, Joffrey threatened the king or whatever, guys, that's a kill on sight for a real one"
Joffrey learned “Fuck Around And Find Out”.
Don't let this guy near dragons, he will become Daenerys only 100 times worse lol
Weird how he just allowed to walk away, after killing someone during the Kings feast?
Hes a kingsgurd
@Smurf Mafia I mean, with the vows a Kingsguard takes, if one of them kills someone like that, everyone knows it was something serious. Not to mention, what is anyone going to do about it? If one of the greatest and high ranking fighters, a killer of men, decides that it's that guys time to go, there's not much anyone else could do to stop it. Not something I'd just want to get in the middle of. We all saw how he just flicked Laenor away when he tried to help. And he's about to be the king consort.
Well to be fair who's gonna stop him? The Kings guard of which he's part of? They were keeping people away from him while he beat Jofferry to death
He is Kingsguard, it is implied he is fighting on behalf of the Throne. Trials will come later, that is why he went to perform Seppuku before those happen.
yeah its pretty dumb, guess all guards are useless and people pushing the future king consort around like a doll
That knight of kisses or whatever is such an idiot, he's so jealous of his lover dancing and getting along with Raenyra his future wife that he totally lost it, and went to talk to Criston to feel secured that she'll have her own toy boy and won't try to seduce Lenor!!!!! Stupid move he paid for with his life!!
I can say the same for Christon since he saw Daemon and Rhaenyra together and realized that he's just a side-piece. And since he can't go after Daemon he went for Joffrey.
Honey Joffrey wasn't jealous of Rhaenyra and his lover dancing at all, he knew Leanor would still love him even though he was going to marry Rhaenyra
I was hoping someone was going to cover this because I understand in a sense why he was upset but I wasn't expecting him to kill him!
Joffrey was trying to blackmail him into a threesome imo. He was was way too fixated on him from the begining
I know right.. That too just for some guy just saying he knows the truth. And why wasn't he punished by viserys?
I gotta say I’m very disappointed in Ser Criston. He could be slinging that Cole Pole all over the Red Keep if he’d chill out and play his cards right. But no, he had to go kill a guy…
He gets worse he now wants her dead and sides with green and kills someone on rhay side for saying he won’t betray rhay and them doing all of this is treason it is but u know Criston is a baby and protects mommy aliscent now. so he’s mad at her for his mistakes he knew what he was doing but typical anger displacement. Idk how u could like him he doesn’t change at all through the series just an enforcer who kills anyone for green. Rhay is stupid for keeping him and aliscent around at all she knows they are against her just banish them or have them meet an accident.
🤣🤣🤣 mf said cole pole
being side whore? I know its okay for some people but anyone with a hint of dignity will be offend by the notion.
Now please explain the even MORE shocking reason why the guards let him leave that place?! 🙄
Poor script writing.
He's a Kings Guard. For all they know, he had a reason to do what he did.
@@elboludo for disarming there might have been a perceived reason. For taking his time to beat him to death with his bare hands amidst a royal wedding feast? Doubtful!! 😂
And even if it all would have been 100% in order, it is highly unlikely that nobody would ask any questions. Do they all not care about a potential murder attempt? The actual murder? Or even just the disruption of their party?
Yeah like wth
He's a Kings Guard. For all they know, he had a reason to do what he did.²

Joffrey should not have gotten into Criston's face.
He shouldn’t have said anything tbh
@@donlyemanuel in the book I heard he kill in Tournament that would better.
Criston sure got into his face though!
btw he don't love her either, he just want his "honor" back. A man with honor would never tell anyone about what happened that night.
He is guilt ridden that's why he thought confessing and asking for forgiveness or punishment would help him but his rage is taking him down a terrible path somehow.
@@amrifanpage yep, sadly for Rhaenyra but all actions have consecuences. Now she has another enemy.
@@nataliealba4138 I think the opposite, a man with honor wouldn't break his vows, but to restore at least a part of his honor he should tell the king or at least the commander what he did and face his just punishment. He never made a vow to cover Rhaenyra's lies and mistakes, his vows are of chastity and obedience to the king.
@@diegonatan6301 that's also true. He should said NO to her.
This move of her made the biggest enemy of hers. Both were at wrong. She shouldn't have used him. He shouldn't have fallen for temptation. He should know that he has no future with a future queen.
Alicent is such a hypocrite. She can betray her friend.. But her friend better not lie to her!
She could be lowkey jealous her friend could sleep and kiss who she want while she’s doing her duty and having babies to serve the king
How Alicent is a hypocrite ?
Didn't you see it was Rahneya who started rifting with Alicent and we all know she will be responsible for her targariyan family disaster...
She is the one who started it and yeah Dance of the Dragon you know..
After what Rhaenyra did to her? It's because of Rhaenyra that Otto Hightower was dismissed by the king, and chose to leave kings landing. Alicent protected her friend Rhaenyra instead of her own father because she was naive enough to believe that Rhaenyra was telling the truth about not having made sex with anyone. She lied on her face. Alicent felt betrayed by Rhaenyra . Rhaenyra is as selfish and greedy for power as her uncle. There are fans of Rhaenyra who hated Daenerys...but Rhaenyra is gong to be much worse than Daenereys and I dont understand this contraddiction of hating Daeneris and loving Rhaenyra. R. has been despicable with Sir Criston. She only care about the throne and the power.
Lmao. Oh okay..
So. Alicent can marry her dad and lie to her friend about their "visits".. but. How dare her friend lie to her.
Lmao.. 😆
People are always like that..
He’s a lovesick puppy and heartbroken. So after being summoned to the Queen and offered forgiveness Maybe he and Alicent planned it. They want to bring Rhaenyra down so having Joffrey watching out for Leanor doesn’t suit their purpose.
Dumb theory
This is reasonably logic
I don’t think Alicent just begin to play the game and how do they know that leanor and the guy were together ? And why in the end ser cole want to kill himself ? I think ser Cole wanted to disappear with the secret even maybe protect the king daughter ?
@@whenisee2667 Hood point
What? Yall are kidding right? She stopped him from Seppuku-ing himself, and that's when he and her teamed up. After he confessed, they were both just confused. That's why she dismissed him. She was taken by surprise, but wanted him to know she was going to keep the secret while she thought about it. Then he killed Joffrey, there wouldn't have been time to have planned out some shit like that, and even if they had, why would he try to honor-kill himself after everything went according to plan? Cole beat Joffrey's forehead like a boy hitting puberty because his comment about knowing Cole's secret sound like a threat. "It'd be mutually beneficial for us to help each other," which would fall on Cole, as the Kingsguard, the most. In a situation that he resents, wanting to run away with Rhae in order to salvage the honor he sullied. Then this guy, that's banging the husband of the woman you love, reflecting what you see yourself as, in all of it's hideousness. He walks up to Cole and THREATENS him... To spill the secret that the Queen is keeping for him. If he doesn't help protect him and his boy toy. Like... Baaaaad timing, dude. Shoulda got the lay of the land (Ithankyou) before you went in threatening one of the best warriors in the realm with everything important to him. Of course he beat that man to death. And I don't really blame him, personally. He wanted to run away with her. When she told him to stay in his lane, he flipped out and beat a guy to death in front of Gods and everybody. Murder tends to further tarnish that honor thing that means so much to him. His life had no purpose and he had destroyed everything important to him, his honor, his chance at happiness, his vows... He was saying he was done. He was going to kill himself to salvage the last little bit of honor that he had left.
Oh, and everyone knew Laenor and Joffrey were together, it wasn't a secret. Even the king had mentioned it. His parents certainly knew.
Let’s be honest… Criston Cole was lowborn from the Stormlands..
*He was never cityboy material😒*
Actually he was from blackhaven🤓

Joffrey's words were very clearly a veiled threat and he bit off more than he could chew. It just so happened that he was broaching a very sore and touchy subject with a guy who was not only ashamed and pissed off, but didn't want to fucking die.
If your name is Joffery do not go to any weddings
Also in the moment when the fight beggins Viserys is looking at Rhaenyra and Daemon flirting
Perhaps Criston also saw them and he discharges his anger into Joffrey
Rhaenyra took advantage of him… he might like her but he slept with her only cause she was persistent. He said no multiple times. She practically r-worded him and made him break his oath. Then refused to marry him. Change the genders and you might see how wrong what Rhaenyra did is 😢
Lmao no way. It was clear that criston had feelings for rhaenyra and he definitely didn't get taken advantage of. If he really wanted to he codve easily pushed her off like he did in the books
Lol, quit gaslighting, he slept with a drunk teenage girl and caught feelings she didn’t. The end.
@@emilymela4683 of course a girl would defend rhanerya men had feeling also
I agree. He was in no position to walk out of that, it was a deceitful r*pe. Rhaenyra took him cause she couldn't have her uncle, it wasn't a rash decision she took time to get him. Boy pondered so many times as we see but he definitely had feelings for her and got deceived as it is love.
@@emilymela4683 lol reverse roles and say that a girl refused multiple times and after that went on to have sex with the guy after he continued to persist. Doesn't sound good does it? Sounds really off putting in a way. The double standard is sad
Why did they change it from the book? In the book he kills that dude in a tourney. Also in the book, Rhaenyra and Cole never slept together
People hate it when they change the story in Rings of power but don't mind when they change it in House of the Dragon.

Well Joffrey tried to play a game he couldn’t win any it, and he got what he deserved. Also, Corlys wanted to get rid of Joffrey so by that action he didn’t asked to question Cole.
Very glad to see this, since it is the most accurate interpretation of the scene. Some people mistakenly thought that Joffrey was suggesting he was going to blackmail Criston, but if you watch the whole episode, Joffrey is at all times extremely happy with Laenor's situation and his own, since Rhaenyra respected their relationship. He wouldn't have risked it by messing with the other lover, he was merely trying to establish the beginning of a friendship without knowing Criston was about to snap. Such a pity he ended up consequence free
Nah Joffrey Was Being Caviler, Basically Rubbing The Dishonor In His Face
Idc, Cole is my favorite character in this show. He’s a real soldier, a low born of humble origins, a truly honorable knight, a great fighter that could put even Dameon to shame in a melee, and above all else he’s genuinely a good man. I love how people in this thread think Joffrey nor Rhaenyra weren’t partially responsible for Ser Cole’s actions. Sure Ser Cole is a “simp” for the spoiled, pampered Targaryen princess but can you really logically reason that Rhaenyra didn’t contribute to seducing him initially and that Joffrey was blackmailing him?
Sorry I just think it is pathetic. Like if you care about your vows that much, a teenager trying to seduce you shouldn't effect you that much like..... he broke his vow and now wants to cry and act up. He should done the crying beforehand. Just don't have much sympathy for people that act like they couldn't help but fuck someone they shouldn't have. He did what he did. That's 100% on him. If he really was about that life, he wouldn't have done it, but he did. Stand in it. Sorry you can't pretend you as a good of a person as you thought you were. Father(or may be parents) of princes's husband tell him to kill Joffrey. did you see they them whispered like have a plan. and he can't escape the order. he have to do and finally he need to kill him self becasue he feel liek that princess R won't love him for sure. and hopeless. and why do husband's parent can order kingguard? there are more complicate reasons that we can't immagine
Yeah I still don’t have a clue or feel there is any real good reason why he did that.
Think he just snapped
Cole has a fiercely loyal personality. His position and job meant everything to him because it’s the most noteworthy thing anyone in his family has accomplished. And he took it seriously, probably more than others. That oath meant something to him personally and he broke it thinking it was out of love. He put love over duty.
He thought it was an “elope” type of love, but unintentionally she made him feel like a whore. A play thing when he thought it was more. So he broke his oath all for nothing. He likely felt lost, due to feeling like a failed Kingsguard which says a lot if he was about to off himself
@@IXthKingz so why did he kill someone who he just met?
@@EchanteDante that random guy knew his greatest secret which he was already ashamed of and was trying supress his anger.
Well he’s definitely heartbroken. And when your heartbroken you are very vulnerable obviously. And Ser Criston being a soldier he’s capable of intense violence as we’ve seen when he fought Daemon. He looked super jealous when he saw Rhaenyra dancing where he had to turn and look away. And when anyone is jealous they aren’t themselves emotionally. Add in too Ser Joffrey’s conversation as a threat. Basically saying “I know your secret and now you know mine, and we should all keep this secret for all of our safety” like wtf 🤨!?!
(I paraphrased lol) And the way Joffrey came off was wicked cocky and threatening, even when he walked away from Criston he brushed up against him in almost this “alpha douchbag claiming territory type way”. So idk, to me put all those factors together and basically yeah Criston snapped lol.
I can’t blame him, I don’t condone what he did, but I get where he’s coming from. Also maybe the arrangement Rhaenyra proposed just didn’t sit well with him and went against his morals. He became a melting pot after his argument with Rhaenyra on the ship.
