0:05 Not sure what other "mechanic" did this but the strut bearing plates could have been easily rotated to fit in the correct holes. Whoever did the work should not be touching vehicles as this is a fairly easy fix.
0:25 The Vehicle was sent to a body shop to fix the holes in the roof.
0:34 It looks like the customer fist did that damage.
0:43 If you drop a socket or tool while working on a car, try to look at it before putting things back together!
    0:54 Easy fix!
1:03 The technician found the issue in the parking lot.
    1:11 Easy fix at least!
1:22 The shop was confused by the customer would rebuild the transmission on a truck that needs a new frame/fixed.
    1:33 No extra info.
1:45 A Subaru with an automatic transmission disguised as a manual.
1:51 The mechanic thinks it was actually the customer who did this.
2:02 The shop told the customer they would need to pay to have their vehicle diagnosed but she still tries.
2:09 Insurance wrote off the vehicle. Nissan Sentra.
2:23 A new gas cap was installed.
2:34 2012 Chrysler 300, came in about a noise in the front end, not the first time we've had this car in the shop previous times it came in with boiling coolant and a separated lower ball joint (declined repairs every time so far.)
2:50 The customer made a simple job a whole lot harder.
3:00 "A 2001 Buick Century, was changing the oil with my dad and tried ramps, I shot the ramps directly under the car and rolled up perfectly on them we had to use a jack to get it off them."
    3:10 Outro. Thanks for watching!

Usually its the customer, but I have been scammed on a road trip with a thermostat cover JB Welded on a recently rebuilt engine by the Honda dealer because they broke the hardware...
A customer where I worked was charged for a rebuilt 1600 dual port for their VW Westy on a road trip that literally turned out to be made out of junk engine parts. They barely made it home. Two of the cylinders were for a 1600 and two were for 1650 aftermarket. Half the exhaust studs were broken, the oil appeared to be 50 Weight and it only got worse from there so we stopped disassembling it as it wasn't even a decent core...
Basically they made an engine out of the customers blown engine and another blow engine they had, but charged them top dollar for a rebuilt engine. Fortunately they paid with their credit card and they helped fix that repair shop for their fraud...

The car owner than drives to a repair shop and says, "No diag. Just install the part I supplied." When the car is not fixed, and it rarely is, it's the auto tech's fault.

The ramp at the end was wild. I have the same ones but use them on my rough driveway so this seems unlikely to happen. It never even crossed my mind that this was a possibility but a smooth garage floor and a front wheel drive car is all it takes, I suppose.

I had bigger metal ones launch forward in winter every time i stopped the car on them haha. Had to anchor them by pounding metal spikes into the ground to get them to stay put.

Only yesterday I wanted to switch from summer tires to winter tires, but rather stopped, as the jack access point is a little rusty and gave me some suspicious crunch while lifting. It's only slightely concerning, as it's a tiny bit of side frame, and compared to what we use to see here, I am perfectly fine. Many frames shown here have basically rusted down to 1/3 of their original mass. Show such a thing to a German car inspector and you will see a grown man cry in the corner.

@@MrSloika That is for sure. During the 90's the Russian were importing a lot of Japanese cars until the Russians passed a law against right hand drive cars. It was a good outlet for them instead of sending them for scrap. The inspections business there and in Germany these days is far out of date and large economic burden. In Germany they also make every car owner have two sets of tires which must be changed by a certain date of the year-- there is no such thing as all season tire use there.
