Last week when in lane 2 doing a displayed 70, I had 2 vans overtake me in lane 3 and both were towing a trailer. No one cars about rules and if they do, they have no idea of the disruption they cause 000’s of others when it goes wrong. We have become dumb and selfish.
Yes, I don't think the driver was driving recklessly or anything, just possibly a beginner at towing and had loaded his caravan wrongly, he was lucky, I thought they were going to tip over at one point.
Okay. When this starts speed up slowly then when going straight again slow down slowly people. Driven over 6,000,000 km so far here. If no room to manoeuvre pull to the shoulder asap.:)
Wrong! When this starts you should slow down gently. Lifting off the throttle and not braking should sort it. Accelerating will only exacerbate the problem.
You are guilty of driving carelessly. You failed to observe multiple provisions of _The Highway Code:_ *Rule 126* *Stopping distances.* Drive at a speed that will allow you to stop well within the distance you can see to be clear. You should leave enough space between you and the vehicle in front so that you can pull up safely if it suddenly slows down or stops. The safe rule is never to get closer than the overall stopping distance allow at least a two-second gap between you and the vehicle in front on high-speed roads and in tunnels where visibility is reduced. *Rule 163* *Overtake only* when it is safe and legal to do so. You should not get too close to the vehicle you intend to overtake
Oh F me do you think you are some kind of policeman. What's next correcting spelling and gramma. Also only a court can declare someone guilty. Are you a judge?

@@raftonpounder6696 I have been awarded top driver in Canada years ago and most likely top driver in the world now. Notice I wrote slowly?
Nurse, nurse, he thinks he's the top driver in the world again, bring the pills.
@@StephenWoodI don’t care if you said slowly. You should not speed up at all.
@@Hex___666 I have been awarded from a competition against the top drivers in the world.
Too much weight behind the axle and too many women driving.

@@raftonpounder6696 This should be clear as I referred to many Highway Code provisions.
