- Zombies!!!! Hello guys, this is my 15th update video showing the progress on my current multiplayer game project. I am making a multiplayer action shooter game with multiple game-modes that can be played in a variety of team sizes. Hopefully that will be fun but, we'll have to see.
In this update video I update the training grounds map and show off the new infection/zombie gamemode. Talk about my settings system re-work and introduce the new community server build.

Good Job on the settings rework. Generic programming is the key to code maintenance. Make large functional changes with a couple of line of code is very powerful.

The networking solution shouldn't really matter for VR. I do suggest using Unity's official networking solution though. Unity Netcode For Gameobjects. Good luck!

Your dynamic settings system is pretty neat. I've been meaning to make something like it for a while :) How did you handle setting the resolution dropdown options if the dropdown options are set manually in the inspector?
Yeah it works well but the inspector does look pretty messy. I need to learn how to make custom inspectors. The resolution dropdown options are basically a special case where I set the options via code using Unity's automatically detected resolution list.

I’ve recently really been into gamedevelopment, using my Dell latitude 7280 core i5, however it struggles when testing the games or playing games in general. So I’m looking for an alternative, but since I’m a student, my budget is pretty tight and I was wondering if you have any suggestions, I was thinking about just upgrading to a i7 but I’m not sure if it’s powerful enough. So any ideas are welcome!
Yeah unfortunately a good computer does tend to cost a lot. I suggest watching reviews on the computers you are researching and if they can play most of the latest AAA games with 60+ fps they will also be good for game development.

you should definitely make a tutorial series especially on coding cuz I want to code like this and every time I "copy" tutorials I end up with unsolvable errors like CS1525 and CS1002, I Know how to, its just not working for me. Please help

Copying multiple tutorials and combining them together if you don't know what your doing can cause lots of issues. In order to really get into the flow of how to program and game dev in general it just takes time and practice. I suggest following multiple different tutorial series and maybe some general c# tutorial series before working on your own project.
My game is still in the playtesting stage so to actually play my game you need to join my Discord server and give yourself the playtester role so you will be notified of our next playtest.
Otherwise I find your game great and being a beginner I would like to take your example.

I don't have any plans on making tutorials but there are plenty tutorials already. I suggest watching some tutorials on Brackeys CZcams channel if you want to start learning game dev.

I don't think you are going to find a tutorial for exactly that. You want to look for tutorials for each individual part of what you want to make. Then you can put everything together to make what you want.

I really want to make a game but tbh I don't do leassons I just watch yt tutorials and try to memorize the code, that won't make me master coding but I just want to make a simple game
Keep watching and following tutorials and eventually you will feel comfortable enough to make your own simple game. A suggestion I give is to skip to the end result of a tutorial and try to make that end result on your own first. Then when you finish or get stuck go back and follow the tutorial to compare your solution or help with what you are stuck on. Good Luck!

Maybe make the player models into soldiers or cosp or something and make the zombies actually look like zombies just a suggestion
I think in the future, cosmetics will fill the gap in player model details.
