  • The London Assembly Environment Committee boarded a Thames Clipper to visit the Thames Barrier as part of its investigation into London's rivers and waters.
Members heard from the Environment Agency and the Port of London Authority on the challenges of battling rising sea levels and the impact this has on London's water defences.
As a result of this visit and the wider investigation, the Committee has made 21 recommendations to the Mayor and Government about water usage in the capital.
