Thank you for your honesty. It has helped me as the holidays can be stressful 🙃 The first time I worked through an extremely bad craving and made it through I burst into tears and that provoked another craving 😅... my point is for the first time I did the work needed within me to defeat a craving. I realized at that point that it was all mental work, daily, sometimes minute by minute.

Beautifully done Amberly! You're so right, you must do it for yourself, that indeed was my motivation, I was so tired of hiding my bad habit from the school setting I worked in as an educational assistant. Also having to struggle to find places to smoke when out and about... I'm only 3 months smoke free, I pray I can continue as you both have, 🙏 it's so nice to be free from cravings at this point, and I keep busy plus set my phone calander to tell me every month on the 11th day that I'm another month smoke free.😃 ha ha it works for me 👍

Hello. I smoke a pack a day on a normal kinda day for 30 plus years. I played around with quitting but was never serious. A week ago Christmas Day I was in a car accident. I was in the hospital til the 29th. I broke 2 ribs. I think the accident spoke the junk in my lungs because all I do is cough. Broke ribs and coughing do not mix well. I'm home and I still haven't smoked because I know it will make me cough more. Soooo...I am 1 week and 1 day no smoke. I did not set out to quit 2022 but now I feel it would be just stupid to light one up once I'm healed. Suggestions???

Stay on track! Get better soon ❤️ but if you’ve gotten this far without it, don’t do it once you are healed
