I always loved how Boyd Holbrook delivered that line, “Stop shooting!! She heals!!”
Like why even have guns because of that? They’d be better off with blades
@@TheCrunchbite Would they now? With how fast and acrobatic she is good luck trying to stab her. Bullets still hurt like hell and will slow her down
Laura probably doesn't age the same way other mutants do either
Reminds Me Of The Bride Christ; She Heals
Stephen Murphy from Narcos
It’s crazy how they just don’t see Logan as a threat anymore
which they probably should´ve, considering the clip :D
they're enhanced that's why
Fr their more scared of a little toddler than him 💀
@@mouslimjaber-ze7sgthink even logan was frightened by her too for a sec, she legit had claws coming out her feet
@@Valkyrae123 ngl it would be cool af if they made a clone that resembled a kid version of him instead of x 24 though it would pretty weird a kid beating tf out of an old man
That foot claw popped out and Logan was like “Jesus that child is terrifying….”
You know youre a badass when wolverine is intimidated lol
@@bradmetcalf5333 I hesitate to say that he was intimidated. Surprised, yes. But not intimidated.
“…She Really IS My Daughter!”
Also I love his sigh after she rolls the head to him as if this has happened dozens of times and is just something Laura does when she’s mad
I mean... she is Wolvie's daughter
Cracks me up when he's trying to discipline her like a dog.
I love how she wanted to be a kid, and just eat cereal and be left alone, but once they walk in with the cuffs you can physically see her become pouty due to her having to do something she doesn't want to do, which is become the weapon they tried to mold her into being!!!...
"Pouty"? Interesting word choice.
@@thel1195?
Disagree. She very much wants to be left alone with her cereal but she doesn’t know what it is to be a kid. As she watches those men on the monitor, she’s processing how to take out her prey and has no quarrel with the situation. As Xavier put it, she’s “very much like [her father]”.
Pouty is a term I can’t describe her as but rather instinctual, borderline feral, and absolutely not someone you want to mess with.
“Pouty” is too nice. I’d use “feral,” “pissed,” “triggered.”
@@b1llj0hn exactly. she sees them on the monitor and she's already made the decision what comes next. her eyes never leave the screen and her eating becomes mechanical, just sort of moving the spoon from bowl to mouth in an even tempo, like a metronome, as her focus is entirely elsewhere. she may even be doing that intentionally, timing their approach. she doesn't try to hide or find an alternate exit, because she sees them moving in slow and knows they aren't going in for the quick flashbang and rush approach, so she can just let them make the mistake of closing the distance and crowding her, then turn into a human cuisinart and take them out quickly. she's calculating. how many? how fast are they closing in? she's likely calculating things like "How many steps is it from the place on the camera to where i am, and how soon will they be here based on how fast they were advancing?"
She already decided anything that gets within X radius of her is going to die, she's just waiting, letting them get into hand to hand combat range.
The "bad guy" in this was a lot more intimidating, with just his attitude and a basic cybernetic arm, than Apocalypse with all his World shaking powers.
Boyd Holbrook is a quality actor
That's because X-Men Apocalypse was made like a family movie and LOGAN for a different audience, teenagers, and adults.
Yeah but Apocalypse reminded Magneto that he could control the whole planet's magnetic field and gave us a badass Magneto as a result.
Apocalypse was basically Ivan ooze from power rangersczcams.com/video/-foMd8WqDNo/video.html
I respectfully disagree. I see only the Reavers having a very inflated, unjustifiable sense of overconfidence. Apocalypse can end your life with a gesture. What do these guys have? Robot arms.
I love this movie, even if it is the saddest of all X Men movies.
"Dark Phoenix" is sadder in a different way, simply because it's awful.
@@ronaldsnelgrove7921 yeah it wasn't very good. I can't wait to see the Wolverine and Deadpool together 😉
@@contemax095 The tone of that movie will certainly be different than that of "Logan".
That's what makes it so good
@@philidoxIt will be strange at first as I felt that "Logan" really found the right mood or tone for a guy who has lived far too long, seen far too much, and felt more pain than any person should. I'm sure it will be enjoyable, just weird.
My first time seeing this when she walked out and threw the head we was about to get a show when them claws come out I still get chills
Samy my guy. Same. You can see that Laura is watching them come from the monitors, and at the most, she just seems a bit peeved that her being able to simply enjoy her cereal is being interrupted. But then, those collars....yeah, she didn't like those being presented. And then walking out and tossing the head at their feet with sheer disdain, chills.
And Logan's reaction is also stellar. He can't believe what he's seeing. A smaller reflection of himself. Priceless scene.
Just realized the bad guy with the head cutoff is former ufc fighter Kristof sozynski
When professor X says ben aqui, I got chills
every comic movie needs to be like this. kick ass, violent, and lots of wolverine!
Deadpool 3 is gonna be badass Logan in the yellow suit BABYYYYYYY LFG
it was good cuz it was grounded w/ good writing.. most comic book movies arent like that unfortunately
Kinda limits your audience.... Not to many kids are going to get into a theater to see this, which is the target audience for comics.
Yes, *Baresarks!*
They need gore like this movie
This whole scene is such a great example of show don’t tell.
Before Laura even starts fighting we know how dangerous she could be because a squad of armed men is approaching her like they would a landmine
Not to mention Donald who’s been completely nonchalant up to this point in the face of THE wolverine is now suddenly wavering
idk why but i love the way she look at the screen and ate her cereal like " keep comin, imma fkd u up..all of u"
Me too!!!!
Another reply articulates it better. She WANTS to have a normal child life and just eat cereal; she doesn't WANT to be a killing machine. So she puts off that transition as long as she can, and THEN she goes into berserker mode.
When she screams, in battle, I hear her ferocity, and also her suffering.
this was the by far the best fox era x-man movie ever made, and one of the best comic book movies ever made.
That “no no NO” from Pierce makes me laugh my ass off
3:26 this part always cracks me up😂
Logan: "Go and meet your boss, freck!" The fact he throws the guy at Donald. 😂😂 Still can lift for an old guy. 👊
Absolute CARNAGE! And I don't think they could've ever found a better person to play Laura. She did a stunning job!
3:33
Logan: I want a foot claw!
I bet she had so much fun shooting this movie.
Director: OK, I need you to scream like you mean it and fuck shit up. Aaaaannnnnnd ACTION!
All comics movies should be rated like this one, best comic movie ever.
Imagine a rated R movie with Wolverine in his prime.
Deadpool 3 is coming my friend
Deadpool 3 is coming. Even better is that he is getting the yellow suit
I love the side stare she gives at 0:38.
It's very wolf-like.
"Stay away from me or I'm going to bite you."
Poor girl. That cereal she is eating is what killed her kind.
Wow, they say "never read the comments" but that is an irony I would never have realized on my own. Thanks!
That's what I don't get. So the food contained a poison that just prevented future mutants from being borned?
Did it also hurt current mutants?? I remember reading that the food is what made charles weaker to dementia and seizures. While also weakening wolverines healing ability.
@@israelruiz8706Yes to all of your questions
just the cereal or all food of that time?
@@feeltheillinois It was corn. They genetically modified the corn to sterilize mutants.
Simply one of my favorite action scenes ever.
Best Wolverine movie
Never was a fan of X-men and their story lines and heroes but I went to this movie instantly it came out. Did not regret it at all.
I love the minor detail of the delay on the CCTV at the beginning of the scene. Adds a little realism.
The most amazing thing about everything is, unlike Logan even being weakened in this movie, she actually needs to be stealthy or move more quickly because she's not that tanky (Like Logan) or physically strong like a grown person and whats worse for her: Like every soldier in that room.
She actually needs to engage any fight in the most tactical way possible while still being deadly as her father like a lioness hunting and if need to say who's scarier gotta be honest: Between a young Logan destroying every single lifeform to reach an absolute helpless me and this kid quiet, waiting the best moment to cut my head off.... she's the winner.
She's more nimble because she doesn't have the weight of an adamantium skeleton, only her claws are covered in it. Makes more like a ninja but also so she most likely wouldn't die of adamantium poisoning so she could be an immortal weapon
@@liliowen2132she is extremely vulnerable because she doesn't have an adamantium skeleton. All they have to do is pop a bullet through her skull and she will be out for a little bit, Logan didn't have to worry about this due to his adamantium skull.
I want more serious marvel movies like this
Oh man that scene near the end when Laura sees Logan running towards the limo confused like "Hey, don't leave me."
Logan is probably like "Don't trigger the old man, don't trigger the old man..."
The way she stops eating and side eye like that, it's animal instinct lol
I wish I was 18 when this came out so I could’ve experienced it in theaters 😔
You can hire a theater one day and watch it :)
If she went through the adamantium procedure as a child, does this means her bones are locked in the adamantium and that she won't get to grow any taller because the force of bone growth couldn’t overpower the adamantium capsule encasing the bone? Damn. Laura got a bad deal.
Only her claws got the adamantium; it also stops her getting the adamantium poisoning
@@Peelioka ah. ok. that's way better. I guess lessons were learned after wolverine's attempt.
@@awe5112 Exactly, only the actual claws were treated 'cause they knew adamantium poisoning would diminish her regeneration, like Logan's case.
@@Peelioka To be honest I don't understand why Logan had the full graft to begin with instead of just his claws. It makes no sense. Bones are flexible, resilient and with Logan's healing, broken bones can be mended pretty much instantly, while grafting metal on them severely limits his flexibility.
@@Wasserkaktus Because that way also his body was "harder" and more durable. Healing is nice but if u get quite a beatdown or constant shooting at you, you'll be grateful to have a metal skeleton instead.
the cut at the end of this clip was PERFECT
1:15 This one sided exchange is interesting. More is happening then is properly shown/explained in the film. Laura and Robot arm have some form of friendship/relationship and guy is trying to lean on it heavily until he realizes he cant. I know its obvious but I do love these little details :)
This was a beautiful story and a masterpiece …
1:18 , that “hey baby” line kills me for some reason 😂😂
I like the small subtle Wolverine poses Laura does.
Not going to lie, I wouldn't mind seeing some spinoffs with this young lady, her character is a bada$$.
This fight scene will never get old
Just like all of those mercenaries.
There is something about her getting a harpoon through her heart and being completely unfazed by it that makes me laugh.
Please let her be in Deadpool 3
that would be amazing if her and Wolverine were together again on the big screen.
I don't know who can calm Laura like Xavier does to wolverine.
Simply don't try to control her. Wolverine tried that a few times and it only pissed her off, i mean after all she is EXACTLY like Logan in that regard, who wants to be controlled by no one.
I just watched this last night. I freaking love this movie.
A great movie. I watched it when it came out March 3, 2017 and although I grew up a wolverine fangirl and it hurt to see him die, this is still my favorite movie 😭 I’m glad he’s coming back for Deadpool though
I so wish they did a 🍿 an action movie about her ... Young girl tearing up the military 😭🪖.. it always ends in tears 😭
Nah she went to the border
She got a happy ending without being what they made her as her father told her❤
I was stunned when I first saw this movie, and it's still just as good today.
Sad thought that Laura will go through the same thing as Logan when shes his age.. being hunted having no peace. This is a great film👍🏻
No she won't. Only her claws are metal, not her entire body.
@@NathanHuegdontrue but I meant being hunted and having no peace.
This movie is freaking violent.....
......AND WE ALL LOVE THAT....!!!!!!!!!!!
that lightspeed spin kick she does at the end is ****ing lit
Still gives me goose bumps of how badass Dafne Keen :D
To think that this was her very first role. She should've been nominated for an Oscar.
@@kennycodes oh no, that's terrible. A good actress in a bad show.
The way he says NOOOoooOOOoooOooo at 1:54 is so funny! it was like the most memorable trailer clip for me!
I love how chill she is when she is just eating cereal
One of the last superhero movies done right. Now they look like over the top special effect comedy films. They should go darker to be more true to form.
@Forever Alone Guy That’s the problem.
Movies are more art than anything.
Sh*t tier movie producers are more focused on making money rather than making a timeless piece of cinematography.
I remember my entire cinema roared and cheered through this entire scene. I barely even heard the movie😮💥
One of thee best Marvel movies 🎬
I love how she brought the dude’s head outside just to send a message.
the way she threw her bag off is so cool
lmao always funny how the goons just keep going at him despite them clearly not having a chance
Awesome scene
This kid is so good in this role
She’s amazing.
Great!
His head like to play XD
2:12
Hey, its that one bearded dude from John Wick Chapter 2
The best super hero movie
Choreographer: How much violence do you want?
Director: Yes.
You should all go watch the fan film Logan the wolf. It is amazing! Also there is a scene during thencredits
3:56 Brother you have a GUN, why are you getting close??
4:01 brutal
1:05 Reaver has a whole double mag assault rifle as his prosthetic arm 😂
Like Father like Daughter
3:34 The look Logan has:
"Holy shit! That's new."
Can't wait to see hugh again as wolverine.
Also, l really hope deadpool 3 will be a wolverine movie that we were always waiting for..
I wish that wolverine had this attitude from the first movie all those years ago. Too bad they had to wait until the end to give us what we wanted
She is such a little sweetheart
These guys are even worse than stormtroopers.
Logan’s version of “Don’t wake up my grandpa” is a bit intense.
I wish she coulda came around when Logan was younger. They coulda had like a batman and Robin thing going on. It'd be like "Wolverine and the Badger" or somethin..
God i just forget how fucking brilliant this movie was. Considering how popular ‘superhero fatigue’ is now, and how popular it is to shit on superhero movies, i wish that ppl would actually give credit to the Fox movies for how fucking amazing they were. As a kid I grew up loving the X-Men movies just as much, they were fantastic, sure their lows were pretty low but they had some unbeatable highs.
Poor little girl. Couldn't even finish her breakfast.
Wolverine will never lose his rage
ngl, boyd kills it in this movie
As great as this movie is we deserved more of this
La mirada de la niña es epica.. como diciendo enserio te vas a animar a molestarme?
Storm trooper accuracy FFS
Man, now I want a bowl of cereal
NO amount of money in the world would keep me from setting my gun on the ground and just walking away. How you think maybe I'll not die gruesomely unlike everybody around me?
2:07 those guys must have learned how to shoot at the Storm Trooper school.
Laura: "Just wanted to enjoy my cereal, but no....."
Bad Boyd is the best kind of Boyd!
Love that movie..bout time showing gore n blood shed🤣🤣
A giant magnet would have worked 😂
The Reavers in the old comics were far more menacing!! The one with the Mohawk had tank tracks!!😅
Yeah they were way cooler in the comics, they were in the Punisher game too.
It im amazed how they just left the worlds most dangerous man laying there and walked away. They shouldve known he was gonna wreck as many of them as he could when he got to his feet.
I'll never understand how mooks can watch their friends be turned into salami chunks, but still have it in their head to run up on the baby cuisinart to attack.
If I knew I was fighting a being who could survive being shot, easily, I wouldn’t bother bringing a gun.
The net launcher from Chronicles of riddick would be better. Titanium carbide steel might survive long enough to sedate her.
Fun clip. I never saw this one (we do not get a lot of American movies)... so is it X-Men Beyond Thunderdome? 😎
Wish they would have gone over how the revers were all dis membered by logan to start out with.
I love you my baacha... For me you are my lawra.. the Kali energy
This movie is almost hilariously brutal.
Amazing how these highly trained soldiers can’t ever seem to hit a target.
In the comics, she dodges bullets like it's nothing, X23 is a trained assassin
@@RabiyaRavenclaw the people shooting at her are not, apparently.
How and when she learned to fight that good and precise -- she programmed since birth? Sorry for the dumb question, I've never read Marvel comics but this particular movie is awesome just like the Blade.
