even better. I think it's a reference to "you can't do that on television." double dare had messy obstacle courses but the green slime on nickelodeon was from YCDTOTV. It was a Canadian sketch comedy show that aired in the early days of Nick. If a character said "I don't know" a bucket of green slime would rain down on them from above, regardless of context.

I am not an AEW hater and WWE has plenty of issues, but one thing they have nailed down is the production aspect of the show. They really do make AEW look like a second rate program just on the visuals alone.
Who do you trust? TBS who has been reliabily broadcasting TV since long before a lot of us here were even born, or Mr Everything's Great! Tony "sniff" Khan?!?!!?

TBS doesn't have an audio issue with any other live shows, so I call bullshit.
I watched it on Triller and didn't have audio issues. This is a TBS problem rather than an AEW problem.

That show was so poorly done that it makes you appreciate the WWE even more. Their production team make the AEW team look like a bunch of amateurs.
This reminds me of WCW when blood is supposed to come down on Kevin Nash but it missed him.
It's crazy to think AEW basically started over a tweet saying no other North American wrestling promotion could sell 10k seats.
And now they're at a point they can't fill 6,000 in their home market.

The audio issues might legit be all on TBS's end because no one outside of the US experienced problems.
I do remember about 3 years ago , all of the sudden you would hear courtside audio from a random NBA game that wasn't even on TNT or TBS. you could hear shoes squeaking and "DE-FENSE! DEFENSE!" right over top of Dynamite. It would of been funny if it wasn't super loud! I am certain that was during covid meaning that was from Daily's Place as well.

The Serena Deeb promo was the last straw for me. They just burned their own home down with all of those issues.

That's a Bret Hart level of scare, so returning is huge and she shouldn't be wasted just in case.

I was there and I'm going back tonight. There were more people there than you would think but the crowd is down from last year. Part of the issue is we went to see some amount of celebration of Swerve but he almost lost! They opened the show with their new AEW champion, not even the main event, and he had a competitive match with a mid card guy! It's getting harder to take AEW seriously when they don't treat their home grown talent seriously.
Home grown talent?? Who....Swerve???? Swerve IS NOT an AEW Home Grown talent. He's a former WWE guy, just like almost everyone else on the roster. And if it's taken you this long to start having trouble taking them seriously, I have a hard time taking YOU seriously.

The way Daily’s Place was set up messed up the Audio as well they had the Big Screen turned up more than the mics so that was so loud you could still hear the echo after each word it was horrible. I could not even hear WTF Serena Deeb said
AEW always has audio problems, but it's never Tony and his team's fault. They spent a year in Daily's Place they should know how to set things up there by now.
I can't be the only one that notices that Collison and Rampage very rarely if ever have audio issues but dynamite has them constantly 😅

People must not remember that AEW had audio problems at that arena before, like when the PA from the football stadium was playing and when the fireworks were going off during someone's promo. I also experienced horrible audio at the Grand Slam show in New York, where the PA system did not work. It might be an AEW problem, but no, no problem. Aside from TBS paying them for this public-access wrestling show.
The rating they got for this show was 100% deserved. Once they opened with Pockets, you knew it was gonna be a disaster.

They had audio issue when Willow came out. Caprice was louder than the music. He was doing an a capella version of Willows entrance music. It was embarrassing.

I tuned into the beginning of Dynamite so I could see Swerve and hear him promo his title win, I didn't see any of that..and I tuned out. Guess Tony was too worried about showing his neck brace during the NFL draft.
