The opposite of lazy booking. Perfectly thought out. Great match.
Made into a no dq match 30 seconds into the match.. from then on it was just messy silly weapons instead of wrestling. Yeah great match :s
They at least built it properly. Tama legit tried to kill Owens@@Michael-cz6ob
Everything was predictable lol
If it were perfectly thought out, they wouldn't have been grabbing plunder from under the ring. Why are there random kendo sticks just sitting under the ring? Was Sandman setting up the ring prior? Otherwise it was a really good match beyond that one thing.
@@chico1680 Huh? What kind of nonsensical argument is this? There are kendo sticks under the ring because it's a wrestling ring, and there are kendo sticks under the rings.
As soon as Aldis turned it into a street fight my first thought was we’ll hear “lazy booking” I’m glad Jim didn’t disappoint even if he didn’t think it was lazy booking here.
its so refreshing to hear him praise the match and to actually point out the exception to lazy booking and why.
@@michaelsuezoI love it when Jim explains how to book.
The crowd singing Randy's theme song was an amazing moment
One of my fav moments from Backlash. Nice to see Randy get the love he deserves.
A song worth singing along to
They've been watching him for 20 years and finally got to see him in person. They took full advantage.
No, it isn’t. The crowd singing is the reason I don’t go to wrestling shows anymore. We’re supposed to be there to watch two people have like a sport contest. If you want to go to a concert go to a concert wrestling are just terrible nowadays
Go cry me a river@@brandonjames4261
“Are you trying to say Haku‘s children are illegitimate?” 🤣🤣
This dude always kill’s me
Jim trying to get Brian murdered 😂
They actually are though. He adopted them with their aunt. So their aunt is also their mom, sort of.
@@mrperson2804Tanga Loa is Haku's biological son. Tama Tonga is his adopted son/nephew. I had to Google it multiple times to get it straight. Haha.
@@jonathanorr44Either way when Jim messes with Brian it's great.

This was match of the night for me, the bump Tama Tonga took was incredible
the first time KO built a fortress of chairs and didn't fall through it himself
@@AgeofJP for real tho 😂😂😂😂
@AgeofJP when he was settling those up I was like this dude again cause he always goes through them himself
First time he actually hit someone else 😂
Props to Tama Tonga for taking all that damage. 🤘🏻
That will be his role within new Bloodline - Tanga is the muscle, Solo is the leader so by default, Tama will take most of the bumps
@@JaculaDudek And not one hospitalization/stretcher angle will be seen. Which means it will be the same BS as always.
I can't wait for Jacob Fatu to show up.........
Not going to happen soon I heard WWE feel he would overshadow Solo

Heyman on a stick match 😱
In response to Solo building his ranks, it makes sense for Roman to have a "Break Glass in Case of Emergency" moment and call in Jacob Fatu. This way it's easier to build each character instead of having to figure out 3 new heels in the same group.
“Plenty of jerks that speak English”
Hey, I resemble that remark
While they are Haku’s kids, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa aren’t biological brothers. Loa is Haku’s actual son, but Tama is Haku’s nephew. He adopted Tama and his brother.
I think they're saving Jacob for Summerslam, and present him as the Godzilla Threshold.
This crowd was definitely not on their phones, they were focused and consistent. They mostly added to the matches imo
I swear i always laugh listening to Cornette. He is serious one minute then singing funny songs the next 😅😅😂😂
I disagree with Jim. I think Jacob Fatu coming in last is the best move. You get the Tongas over as crazy violent thugs first, then Fatu comes in and out crazy thugs them. All of a sudden, you see fear in the eyes of the crazy Samoans who have been running rough shot up til now.
Nah they are gonna turn on solo eventually
@petebagwell6666 I dunno, Solo needs a group. The good thing about bloodline story is pretty much anything can happen
and maybe jacob will show up when roman returns to handle business only to be put down by the debuting star
if jacob fatu comes in it will bury solo because he has similar size and somoan they both look different than the rest
My thoughts exactly. You establish these two as badasses. Then make a big deal when even they fear Jacob.
I think Jacob will debut when Roman returns.
He Said his dream match is against Roman and the USOs
Or when Rock returns.
I think Roman returns as Baby-face.
He can't stop the New Bloodline on his own.
He appeals to Jey and Jimmy who both decline.
He thinks he has no choice but to seek out the black sheep of the family.
Jacob Fatu comes in and is a loose cannon.
Jacob will probably debut at Summerslam, seems like they’re gonna give him a big introduction on a big stage
Jacob Fatu will be the monster heel going up against a baby face Reigns@@paulstockton7121
As soon as Corny said "It's a no disqualification street fight!" I was waiting for the LAAAZY BOOKING but turns out it wasn't LAAAZY BOOKING.
No but i can see the elite v FTR, Kingston & Danielson being bestowed with a laaaaaaazy booking
Gotta give it to the crowd, they was on the whole show. Didn't tire out like other crowds
They were singing soccer songs for their various teams..... it had absolutely nothing to do with what was going on in the ring and was annoying.

Tanga is Haku's biological son I believe, Tama Tonga is Haku's adoptive son.
Exactly
Yeah haku adopted tama from his sister to help raise him he is haku's biological nephew
Jacob Fatu debut is getting closer and closer..
Tonga Loa is not completely unknown. He used to be Camacho yes?
Yes.
Was a Tag team with Hunico (f.k.a Sin Cara 2) during 2010's WWE.
They portrayed him as hispanic with hunico lol
We are probably not supposed to remember that lol
The problem is, COLE SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT. Nobody knows "Tonga Loa". They remember Camacho, and Hunico /Sin Cara v2 (who is undefeated in backstage fights).
A lot of them came from Lyon to Nova Scotia.. then the great spread and some became Cajuns in Louisiana and some went to Calgary and became Harts.. I’m dead serious 😂
I'd put money on Haku going into the HOF next year.
The viewers cheered way more for Tanga Loa than Mercedes Mone or Okada debut. Shows even any semblance of star powers in AEW can't move the ratings.
why do y'all instantly think about AEW even on the WWE reviews .. Jim is reviewing actual wrestling and you think about the clown show.. rent free 🤦♂️
You mean Timmy Tonga and Tango Lolo as the Cult of Khan are calling them. But hey they got OceanSpreay, Manure Moans, and Okody. In a few weeks, the sons of Haku feel like the real deal and we are just getting started.
@@matthewhostetter8974 don't forget Jacob Fatu. He'll be making his debut soon.

Someone tell Jim that Haku has another son whose 6’7
That’s right! I hope if he ever comes in, they call him Tiny Tonga or something 😂
Not to mention Owens' son Owen. He's not far off that height himself.
@@jimmyjohnson3149he should be there by SummerSlam. His NJPW contract is up in June or July.
So what’s the 6’7” kid name Taller Tonga
@@jimmyjohnson3149 his name is Hikuleo
Isn’t Haku the character from Crash Bandicoot?
Solos brass instrument heavy theme. The mighty mighty bloodline tones. Lol
Hoping eventually Haku does get invovled. Maybe as part of some Tribal Elders segment. And theyre the ones who demand the infighting to be concluded (or new tribal chief be decided or whatev) in a "Bloodline vs Bloodline " match
I dont ever think of a match in terms of star ratings.. but this was an instant classic to me
Tonga Loa gave me flashbacks of that few week period where Micheal Cole tried to put over a low-rider bicycle.
I like Tama Tonga cause he gets this crazy look in his eyes that scares me a bit. He sells me as a killer. I’m excited to see him wrestle more.
He looked intimidating in New Japan with the long hair, long beard, and the face paint
Oh Brian, you dont mess with Haku's Firing Squad. 😂
The Virgin Territory vs The Whore of Babylon is maybe my favorite interpretation of modern wrestling
Those kendo stick welts on Tama Tonga were pretty rough.
"Ronkonkoma" made me spit. Random ass Brian making me laugh as usual.
I'm glad I grew up on Long Island because otherwise it'd be incomprehensible. Now it got a laugh out of me.
I LOVED this match. The middle stalled a bit, cut off 3-5 minutes. But it was alot of fun
Big fan of Guerillas of Destiny. One of the few acts over there I would watch when Olivier was over there. That Owens chair suplex was cool. I hope they own their NJPW theme music.
The spot with Owens and Tonga was insaneeee I was actually scared for them lmao
Been waiting for this since backlash ended. Thank you Jim. ❤
This was a fun Opener and i was hoping they'd turn it into a Street Fight or something given what happened on Smackdown the night before.
The France Fans singing Randy Orton to the Ring was fantastic too. Plus we got a curveball on who was showing up.
No DQ and No lazy booking is better than 7 stars
Jim out here trying to get Haku to murder Brian
Jacob Fatu Afa Anoai Jr Hikuleo and myself Mikey Albright are joining the Bloodline next
Hikuleo's New Japan Contract does end in June.
Been waiting for this
Jacob Fatu would outshine Solo.
I mean, Haku did adopt one of his kids. I believe it's Tama Tonga, so that could be used for the storyline reasoning or something.
Since when did The Bloodline need no DQ for an interference? Just bump the ref again.
This felt like a fight. It made sense for these guys to be in a street fight, especially for the best crowd they've ever performed for.
I was pumped from the minute they sang Randy’s song and then the DQ call I was like YES LETS FKN GO BRO 😂
I loved this match. It felt like real brutality not just weapons for no reason especially with the story. Best match with weapons in a long time it felt real for the most part. Loved it
At this point, I'm guessing that they are holding Jacob Fatu for Roman's return and probably form a rival faction to that of Solo's
What up Jim and Brian
This match was very good
I can’t remember who but I’m pretty sure it was 1 of the Sons of Haku that is adopted by Haku, I could be wrong tho but I remember hearing 1 of the Samoan family wrestlers was adopted in
Hikuleo will debut next just to piss off Jim and Brian lol
I hope so, but it’s too early for him. Gotta establish G.O.D first, so those that never watched New Japan can see what they’re capable of
im expecting it to play out as, solo, tama and loa and the rock vs roman, jimmy and jacob and their wildcard member either being tama' youngest brother or jey runs out to help at a vital spot. but i think they will keep jay as a solo guy though especially after that entrance at backlash
This match needed something special to start the PPV and they delivered. I also think Haku has more power in the new Bloodline than we thought. If you're going to do a street fight, this is how you do it. Orton is over as ever and we got to see the start of this insane crowd. We all expected Jacob Fatu, no one had a clue we'd get Tanga Loa. The idea of the Guerrillas of Destiny vs the Usos is going to be a great tag match. Now I wonder if we'll get Hikuleo as well. Hell Jacob might even join the babyfaces.
I think they haven’t debuted Jacob Futu because they don’t want to hurt Solo’s credibility. Solo is still getting over with the crowd as the step in leader for the Bloodline.
The fans singing Randy Orton's whole theme song was the best way of showing someone respect as a wrestler I've ever seen.
This was the best tag team match of the year. Crowd was fire and KO & Randy beating the breaks off the bloodline for the first 10 minutes was fantastic.
WWE is worried Fatu will overshadow Solo after spending 2 years building him up. Multiple outlets have reported this.
Jacob Fatu shows up at SummerSlam
I would have waited to debut Fatu in america too. Will be a even bigger pop
When's Jacob fatu coming
I think they'll slow his debut to Summerslam.
In my opinion this will play out best as if theres a power vacuum in the Bloodline, with multiple people vying for control .. have Jacob Fatu come in and brutally assume control then up against Roman and the Usos.
Down the line The Rock can be on the side of Fatu’s Bloodline.
@@VXGamingyep. He’ll show up at a big PPV is my guess. Summerslam seems like a safe bet. Gives the new guys time to establish themselves.
Solo Sakoa is Jimmy and Jey's brother but they are called the Uso's but he has a different last name too
I was kinda hoping for more comments on the crowd singing
Tonga is the island Haku and his sons are from, I believe tama and loa were adopted by Haku.
I wasn't expecting Tanga Loa at all. It makes me wonder if Jacob will be team Rock or team Roman.
Tonga Loa was in WWE before as Camacho.
Wait until Cornette talks about why WWE is delaying the debut of Jacob Fatu. 😂
There's yet another brother- Leo Tonga aka Hikuleo
And a cousin Bad Luck Fale
Brian makes sure he doesn't insult Haku. Very smart.😁
Don't insult Haku, or offer him a drink. That does not go well, for anybody.
For anyone wondering: the French people in France are considered “stuck up” because they look down upon the French people from Quebec.
It's the Québec accent that can sound funny to French people, but it's the same for any accent : French Swiss, French Belgium, even accents from the South or North of France are made fun of in Paris. Parisians are the real stuckups, I should know I'm 1 of them. 😅
pognés du cul
I absolutely would have debuted Jacob third. You start high, go lower and then go highest. It’s how you keep the most engagement.
Okay. So…
Have solo and the Tangas dominate for a bit. Maybe have them absorb an uso.
When reigns is ready to come back he has to earn his spot back before anything else. He gets the other USO to back him up and they go after the big Samoan gang, but they are way outgunned, until they debut the Samoan werewolf on their side.
Then we have reigns, an uso and Jacob v solo and the tangas and an uso. Maybe have the uso reunite with reigns somewhere along the way.
Then, when it looks like reigns has assembled a strong enough group to overcome the upstart Samoans, Rock joins solo and the tangas and we get full scale tribal war.
Whatcha think?
They’re still missing another brother of Tama and Loa. The 6’8 Hikuleo wrestling in New Japan. His contract ends in June
CHAOS?!
Jim just wondering have you ever heard a u.s.crowd that was that loud
Relative unknowns or Unknown relatives 🤔
So, according to "sources" Tama Tonga is the adopted son of Haku (his uncle) and Tanga Loa is his bio-son but they were raised as brother and there is one more in the family using the name Hikuleo who is Tama's bio-brother. We maybe waiting for Jacob just a little longer, or we get Jacob with Roman; they try to take back the Bloodline but Hikuleo makes it 4 on 2. This is where you have Jacob say "you need to make things right with your cousins and heal the family" at which point you embark on a program for Roman to find and save Jimmy and seek forgiveness from Jey while you push Jacob as a monster that all but the full power of the new Bloodline can't handle.
Roman is going to come back as a heel, but Solo is going to have Fatu attack Roman just like he had Tama attack Jimmy. I think Roman will turn face and join up with Jimmy and possibly Jey after that, and then we get a promo battle between Roman and Jacob Fatu. That should be fun. I might actually get cable to watch it, lol.
Romans face turn is evolving
As a french canadian.. yes we speak french but there is a "good" difference between french from France and French Canada.
Seeing Loa made me think we were worked by the buzz of Fatu
Camacho is back!!
Wwe trying to not have two umaga tribute acts with solo and Jacob fatu it seems (if the reports are true)
the coke nose picture is hilarious
One of the loudest crowds ever.the camera was, shaken.
On the jacob fatu point, i don't know what french law is in terms of felons from non EU countries, especially armed robbery and b and e, but i wouldn't be surprised that he might not allowed in france.
Yes we consider them as cousins !
I loved these guys in Japan, they have a 7ft YOUNGER brother too out there in New Japan, Hikuleo.
These guys didnt play well with the boys club so they were never used in the New Japan crossover stuff. Thy used the 7 footer and jobbed him out in AEW. Tama and Loa were like F U guys, we''l stay here in Japan.
Loa was definitely a surprise fo me, I thought he was gonna stay with Hikuleo, I'll be surprised if they grab him too. Haku needs to be on TV too.
Curious to see how this all plays out once Jacob Fatu joins Bloodline 2.0 If WWE is planning some kind of Civil War angle down the road with Jey reuniting with Jimmy; they’ll be outnumbered even if Roman returns and sides with them. Do they have even more relatives for WWE to sign??
Yes. There’s zilla and bad luck fale in new japan is related too. There’s also a few more kicking around the Indy’s, I think
Did you see that family tree in Las Vegas there's at least a dozen more of them still out there they can bring into this thing and that dozen is not an exaggeration either
Good point. I forgot about The Rock’s PowerPoint presentation. I look forward to next year’s ‘Oops! All Samoans’ Royal Rumble
@@nodnarb6348 lmao yeah they got Jacob Fatu,Zilla Fatu, Hekulio,Bad Luck Fale,Journey,Juicy,Lance,Sean Mutan, Jeremiah Fatu the fourth Uso brother he's out there,Jason another cousin that recently started,Etc that's 10 but I'm sure there is still two more out there I'm forgetting about to make that dozen claim lol
Yes they are illegitimate in the sense of the word. Tama Tonga was adopted by Haku. He's his actual nephew I believe
Tama Tonga And Tanga Loa were adopted by Haku.
Backlash and Clash at the Castle had great crowds overall. It's embarrassing how the US crowds can be. Tama should've been in WWE maybe 2-5 years earlier even if he had to put up with Vince's booking bcuz he meshes so well in WWE and took a crazy bump already for his age
I cried when the crowd sung Randy’s song😢
There’s no guarantee that Jacob will be on Solo’s side. If we’re going by the 4 vs 4 formula and we assume that The Rock is calling the shots for Solo - maybe Sami doesn’t come back to help Roman. Sure it’s what the fans want but I could see a scenario where maybe Jimmy comes back with Jacob cause he wants to even the odds a little bit and eventually Roman brings them and Jey back together
